I can not add google calendar account in iCal: Server unsafe IDAV

Hi, I have an iMac i7 again, buy it as updated it with Lion, my problem is this: When I try to add a google account in iCal tells me I can not find the server but says it is not safe. How do I add the Google Calendar account without me the error that is not a secure server IDAV?

Can't edit Google Calendar events in iCal

I am using Google Calendar's new CalDAV sync system and their "Calaboration" tool to sync my iCal (version 3.0.5, and I'm using Mac OS 10.5.2) with my Google Calendars, per the instructions on this page:

It seems to work ok in that I can now see my google calendar events in iCal. I can also add an event to that calendar in iCal, and it will sync to my google calendar. However, I can't seem to edit an event in iCal that was created on the Google Calendar web page. That is, all my events that I created in Google Calendar do indeed appear in iCal, but I can't edit them in iCal. I can edit events that I create for that calendar in iCal, but not ones I created in google calendar. Not a huge deal, but I was wondering if this is how it is supposed to work, because it seems a tad inconvenient.
(I do have my e-mail address in my address book "me" card, so that's not the problem.)

Yeah, I tried deleting the calendars in iCal and re-synching to them via Calaboration, but the same problem persisted.
I did find the solution after a bit of experimenting, though. To solve it, I basically created a new calendar on Google Calendar, imported all my events from my old google calendar into it, then used Calaboration to sync iCal to the new Google calendar, and now I can edit events in iCal and GCal without problems. I don't actually know what the problem WAS, but this seems to have solved it. Maybe I made my original Google Calendar too long ago and it had some old bad settings I couldn't see? I dunno, but it doesn't matter now.
For those who might have this same problem, here's how I transferred my old Google Calendar events into a new Google Calendar without losing anything: (You actually don't need to delete your old Google Calendar at all if you don't want to, so there's no reason to worry about losing your events.)
1. In GCal, click the "settings" link at the top right of the web page. Then select the "Calendars" tab. Click the "Export My Calendars" link, which should be under your list of calendars, next to the cancel button. This will download a .zip file to your computer, containing all of your google calendars as individual .ics files. Go ahead and unzip them so that the .ics file for the calendar you want to duplicate is sitting in a folder somewhere on your computer.
2. Now In GCal, click on the "Create" link on the lower righthand side of the "My Calendars" box, which is on the lefthand side of the screen.
3. Create a new blank calendar and name it whatever you want. This is the blank calendar into which you will import your old calendar's events.
4. Now, in GCal, click "Add" at the bottom right of the "Other Calendars" box, which is under the "My Calendars" box on the left side of the web page.
5. Select "Import Calendar".
6. Click "Choose File" and browse to the .ics file you want to duplicate on your computer.
7. In the "Choose Calendar" pull-down menu, select the new, blank calendar you made in step 3.
8. Click Import. This may take a few minutes, depending on the number of events you have in your .ics calendar file.
9. Once it's done, look at the calendar to make sure your events all came into your new Google Calendar ok. It should look exactly like the original google calendar, but it will be a different color.
10. NOW, use Calaboration to sync your iCal to the New Calendar you just made in Google Calendar.
11. Once it's done synching, you should be able to edit events in the calendar in iCal.

Can't add Google Apps account on Nokia Messaging

Thought I'd start a new post when I noticed the previous one was from 2010, and wasn't really solved at all even though it says 'Solved'.
Suggestions please Nokia - this was working until earlier today, but then I updated the mail software on my E5, after which I had to delete all my email accounts and start again (so that it would deal with HTML emails properly), and now I can't add back the Google Apps accounts, either online or on the phone.
Suggestions please Nokia - this really is hopeless - do you do _any_ testing of things like this? God how I wish I'd bought a Blackberry instead of this piece of rubbish - unfortunately it's out of warranty now (I spent a year waiting for you to make it work properly - that's how loyal I _was_ to Nokia) and so now I'm stuck with it.

Its not working for me
I had updated to Nokia Email Version 3.21 (E72). The push mail was working but the html problem was happening (/t5/Eseries-and-Communicators/No-html-in-Nokia-Email-v-3-21-0/td-p/1192091)
So i removed the mail boxes but now I cannot add them back. After giving the username and password it says verifying and then disconnects and no mailboxes are added. I last tried at 5:19 GMT Monday 31 Oct 2011 (10:49 PM IST Monday 31 Oct 2011) I have 2 factor authentication and have revoked the earlier password and generated a new one.

Can I add a calendar such as ical or google calendars and have it expand the date?

In Google calendars or iCal you click on the date in the month view and you see the day itself listed with what is going on that day. Is there a way to add an ical or google cal to iweb that would show the full month, but when the particular day is clicked would either expand to show a fair amount of information for that date, or show that dates info in a seperate dialogue box next tot he calendar?

Can't add google calendar to TB. Lightening and goog prov both download but I can't find them once installed.

I've fiddled with this for days, and can't get it to work. I downloaded and installed (I think) lightening and google prov ider but can't find them in the TB program under tools or addons. Hi Matt: Thanks for your reply. The extension list has lightening 3.3.3 and and provider for google calendar 1.04 but the options button is not there for provider. If lightening is the way to get my google calendar, and it is listed but doesn't seem to do anything, what am I missing? Is there something in addition to Lightening to bring the calendar in? Can not add Google in Preview in Browser Window

I have just started usning DW 13.2 CC on win7. In Preferences>Preview in Browser> Help, OK, Cancel Buttons are missing. Only + - Buttons are visible. I followed to next window and added Name and pointed to .exe file it took me back to <Preview in Browser> Help, OK, Cancel Buttons are missing. So how do I add Google?

Not sure what the OK and Cancel buttons are, but by using the following procedure, you will be able to add your favourite browser.
To add a browser to the list, click the Plus button, complete the Add Browser dialog box, and then click OK.
To delete a browser from the list, select the browser, and then click the Minus button.
To change settings for a selected browser, click the Edit button, make changes in the Edit Browser dialog box, and then click OK.
Select the Primary Browser or the Secondary Browser option to specify whether the selected browser is the primary or secondary browser. F12 (Windows) or Option+F12 (Macintosh) opens the primary browser; Control+F12 (Windows) or Command+F12 (Macintosh) opens the secondary browser.
Select Preview Usin
Select File > Preview In Browser > Edit Browser List.
Select Preview Using Temporary File to create a temporary copy for previewing and server debugging. (Deselect this option if you want to update the document directly.)

I hate to add a third entry but this one will end the speculation about this problem.
Apple mail is not designed to create a new mail account! WIndows mail, all forms, is designed to create new mail accounts. If you are new to mac, and you try to create a new mail account and the account you try to create already exists because it belongs to some else, the a return code for an error is returned from the mail provider. Apple mail unfortunately trys to handle
the error but does not bother range checking the return code for validity. This results in what I said above and the mail crashes. Nothing that happens should ever cause a crash! There are a number of software errors in Apple mail that need attention. To fix this problem, just go to your email provider and create the account. Then add it in apple mail.
This will work without error.

I can not get Google Calendar to sync with iCal.

Google mail works. When i try and sync it says that password is wrong, however I use it to get to G Calendar on web. Any ideas?

Verify that settings are the same on ipads and iphones and see if they sync.

Can not add new VMS into existing clustered server pool

For some reason, we reinstall VMM (3.1.1-416) with existing UUID and rediscover all VMSs. The process went smooth and the whole system looks clean without dead objects any more. The guest VMs are all working fine. However, the new added VMS in unassigned servers are not displayed in the "Available Servers" when we want to add into existing clustered server pool, but it is shown when we add into unclustered server pool. Anyone has clue or possible way to debug what's wrong.

The issue is resolved. The access group in shared iSCSI is not properly configured.

Can not add any accounts to Mail, Calendar, etc.

This is not an additional account issue.
I can not add even 1 account.
This is Windows 8 Enterprise.
I opened Mail App.
I logged in with MS account.
I went to settings, Accounts.
I clicked on "Add an account"
The I get, "You've added all the accounts available for this app" , but I have not added any accounts at all.
Any advice?
I am trying to add ActiveSync to Exchange in the Mail app, since full Outlook 2013 is almost unusable on a 10" tablet.

Did you use any proxy during the internal network? Please try to use other network to add the account in Windows Mail App.

Can not add email account

Hello All
Just got a blackberry curve 9220 to but my extra number on it as it was for a very good price.
The thing is i don't want to register to my network data plan i want to use this device only with wifi
the thing is i can not add my Gmail account!
All toutrials shows that when i click add an email account i shoud have internet email account or enterprise account.
Every time i click on the setup an email the next window is "Activate Enterprise Account"
Is there anyway around this or that's it i have to get a data plan to use my balckberry?!!

How do I add Google calendar subscriptions to iPad iCal?

I was able to add my Google calendar account to iCal on iPad but my calendar subscriptions (delegated) from other users is not displayed. I know there is a wizard to add a subscribed calendar but I don't know how to fill it out:
Settings> Add Account> Other> Add Subscribed Calendar > Server "myserver.com/cal.ics". Where do I get the information to plug between the quotes?

I'm trying to do this very thing. I have multiple google calendars set up (one for each kid, my husband etc.). I want to move to iCal exclusively. Based on your note above, should I export each individual calendar within ical. Remove each from the iCal account and then reimport then into ical? I suppose the risk is low b/c the data still exists in google.
Please advise - I would hate to misstep. Very new to the apple world (aside from iphone / ipad).
