I can not authorise my computer when the iphone is plugged in

Im running OSX 10.9.3
Latest version of ituens
My itunes library is on an external hard drive.
When plugged into my lap top i have no problems and everything synces fine.
On my desk top when i plug my iphone in ituens repeatly askes me to authories the computer no matter how many times i do.
I delted the Sc folder, tried deauthorizing and reinstalling itunes. nothing will fix it.
Any ideas ?

How can I authorise my computer when the email address no longer exists

Yesterday, due to software problems I had to have my computer wiped. I reinstalled iTunes and loaded all my music, films etc back on (these are kept on a hard drive) with no problems. I now have about 120 songs/videos that will not play as they were purchased with an email address that no longer exists. iTunes keeps asking me to authorise my computer but I do not know the password. Is there any way I can get these purchases back? Not techy at all, please help, I've been at this all day!!!

You will need to call Apple at 800-275-2273 and ask for the Account security department. They will have you sign into the My Apple ID site at id.apple.com using the Manage Apple ID button and generate a temporary support pin. It can be found in the lower left corner of the Password and Security section once you log in.
Once you give them the support pin, they will ask for one other piece of information from the account in order to verify that you own it. This can either be one of the current security questions, the credit card linked to the account, a device serial number, or a device verification code that they can send you.

Why does Do Not Disturb only work when the iPhone is locked?

I've been wanting for awhile now a way to easily turn off all notification alerts and incoming calls while keeping cellular data and wi-fi on so I can use my phone in peace without gimping my wireless connections, and even though iOS 6 as a whole seems awesome to me, I'm disappointed Do Not Disturb only works when the iPhone is locked.

Was just wondering if other people felt the same way I do and start a discussion about it so maybe that with more people talking about it, Apple would pay attention to it more. People complaining about how calls and alerts were lighting up their screen at night seems to be some inspiration to why Apple added Do Not Disturb in the first place. Didn't know I was doing anything in violation of the Terms of Use so sorry about that.

Can not "edit my calendar" on the iphone

I have recently noticed that I can not edit my calendars on the iphone. There is not event the option to edit. Clicking on the date and time wont bring up an edit. I am syncing with i cal. Any ideas? Cant find anything that I changed in my settings.

If you set a Boot/EFI password and forgot it the only people that can help you is Apple. Take your Mac to an Apple store with proof of ownership.

How can I access my computer when the keyboard letters don't respond and I need to input my password?

My computer is password protected, but for some reason, the letters in the keyboard are not responding. I press the "Caps lock" button and the "num lock" button and they seem to operate fine and the mouse is also working properly, but it seems like the letters are locked and won't input.

Hit the num lock button again. Num lock forces only the numeric keypad underlying keys to work as a numeric keypad, and the rest of the keyboard won't work. Unfortunately Apple stopped including the numeric keypad hidden keyboard key labels on its keyboards. They used to include them. Can not open docx attachments in the iPhone

I have an end user that when he clicks on an attachment being a .docx or a .pdf that was sent via email all the icon does is blink.
It does not download to where you can open it.
This is on the iPhone 5

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:

On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:

* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Can I stop SMS notification when the iPhone is being used as a phone?

I love my iPhone, but the one thing that is driving me mad is SMS notifications coming through when I'm talking on the phone - a startling loud alert when the phone is pressed hard against my ear makes me jump every time, and actually hurts a bit too! I don't want to have my SMS alerts as silent, I'd just like the phone to realise that shouting 'PING!' in my ear when I'm on the phone is not good for my hearing or nerves!

Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
E_AUTH_NOT_READY is another unhelpful one it sometimes gives.
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people. Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash. There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1). Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically.
It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.

Can I get a discount on the iPhone after my AT&T 2 year contract is up?

You can not get a discount on the iPhone. You will need to pay the full 399.00 even when your upgrade time comes. The upgrade discount is not applicable to the iPhones.
