I can not believe this - Messaging date

Hi you all,
I have just registered myself in this forum, just to ask for something that I have been wondering if it could be done since I bought my Nokia N85. Please, if this is not the correct forum to ask this, change it.
I would like to have the option to display de DATE/HOUR of each SMS message in the same screen that the message is shown. Actually, I have to click "Options-Details" to see this information, and honestly I can not understand why Nokia did not configure an option like this in this mobile.It is configured in all other mobiles of all other brands, even the Nokia X5800 has this option! But the N85 does not have it
I have tried other software, but I only want to see the DATE/HOUR in the same screen, with Nokia's own "Messaging Software". I have also tried "Nokia Conversations", and even I think it could be usefull in some situations, I prefer the "old way" of showing sms
I do not know if Nokia's staff read will read this post (if the answer is yes, PLEASE HELP!!! lol), but I would like to know if someone knows how to solve this problem.

I just had a thought (something that doesn't happen too often.)
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the lcd on a mini repaired. if it is i would prefer to do that rather than getting a different kind of ipod. i've grown quite attached o this mini, it's the perfect size for me. I think the nano is too small and the ipod is too big (although they are pretty nice). so anyway if you know whether or not this is possible please tell me

I can not believe this!!

I was doing laundry (in my house) and set my ipod mini down on the counter then went away to do something else. when i came back for my ipod it was underneath a (dry) bathrobe. and the screen is all messed up there's a dark circle on the top righthand section of the display and it's unreadable in that section. it almost takes up a quarter of the screen. also there looks like there might be a small crack (about the thickness of a hair) on the lcd. not on the outside plastic but the actual screen. I don't know what to do. what could have caused this.
I know that wasn't the safest place to leave my ipod and thats my fault but still I don't see what could have caused this!!! my waranty is up and even if I could afford to go out and buy a new ipod i could'nt even get this model anymore i would have to get a nano or full sized ipod. This mini has practically become part of me over the last year or so. i was never without it and now it's broken! I know i'm pretty much out of luck and this really isn't a problem that can be solved in this forum, but i just needed to vent somewhere. maybe if I have any money left over after I buy books this semester I can get another ipod, but that is very unlikely.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

There is no solution. You have to provide the ID and password. There is no way around it. If the person you bought it from can't provide it, return it and get your money back.

Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background'

All of a sudden I can not receive text messages on my MOTOX. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. I can send them, but can't receive them.

My MOTO X was working fine, then all of a sudden, I can not receive text messages. I have checked the settings and they look correct to me, and I have done everything the web site recommends, except wiping the phone and starting over, to try and fix it. Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you resolve it?

Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. I have also gone into settings - notifiations - and tried turning all notifications for these apps all off but that didnt work either. Any guidance is MUCH appreciated - Im not sure where to go from here.

When the prompt pops up next time you start iPhoto select Learn more. Then click on iPhoto preferences and select the Accounts tab. Delete your MM account and the quit iPhoto. Next time you open iPhoto the problem should be eliminated.

Elements 11 - when I try to print a photo, I get this message "photoshop can not print this document"

Those pixel dimemsions have aspect ratios that are not the same as a 5 x7 print:
1360 x 1360 = 1.0
790 x 640 = 1.23
2048 x 1366 = 1.5
An 7 x 5 image = 1.4.
So you'll need to crop the images to 5 x 7 before printing. The first two images are a little light in the pixels to produce a high resolution 5 x 7 print.

Open App Store > Purchases, and see if iPhoto app is listed. If not, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Apart from that, check that iPhoto is in Applications folder. If not, put it in this folder.
If nothing works, remove iPhoto, open App Store > Purchases, and install iPhoto free of charge

Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message.

You mentioned you tried some steps but I'm not sure what they are, you may try my suggestion to resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, right-click Computer, click
Properties, and then click Advanced system settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
Locate and select the __COMPAT_LAYER variable, and then click Edit.
Set the value of the __COMPAT_LAYER variable to EnableThemes. Or, delete the __COMPAT_LAYER variable.
If the issue persists, we can troubleshoot this problem in Clean Boot to determine whether background programs are interfering with PowerPoint:

Problems with 1.0.7 OS upgrade, can't file support claim, they want me to PAY! for support now! I can't believe this!

After this 1.0.7 OS upgrade yesterday my PB still will not open TXT or HTM file attachments, Bridge files will not recognize MUSIC or VIDEO files on the PB or my PHONE. I have previously filed a support claim about this to get it corrected and each time RIM ends up sending me a link to a page saying these files are not supported. Well, I went to support to file another claim about the above problem and I get the following message!

That is simply incorrect. Contact your country's Blackberry Playbook Tech Support and give them your playbook PIN or serial number. They will be able to help you, because the 90 day period is being extended, for free. If the agent somehow tells you you have to pay, demand to speak to a supervisor.
