I have bought my IPHONE for the US and I am using it in Tripoli Libya. I tried to create ITune Apple ID using my Location Information, The problem it did not accept the Post Code. Instead I have gone to Apple Site and Created an Apple ID from me< tell here it's OK, Except that I can not even download free application to my phone using My Apple ID that I have created on Apple site. So wat's the problem.......!?

The problem is that iTunes content is not available in Libya. That's why your ID won't work & there is nothing you can do about this.

You have to enter your credit card number and some amount would be debited from your account(60 rs in india)
After registration, You can Go to
1 Settings
2.Itunes&App Store
3.Click on your apple id .
4.Select View Apple ID
5.Slecet Payment Info
And You can find NONE here.
Please select NONE to delete your credit card numbe r from the list
But While registering you cant find NONE, you have to enter the cc number.

Can Not Create Apple ID-Safari

I am trying to create an apple ID for my son. Every time I hit the 'create apple id' button (after all the correct fields are filled out) it generates a file in my downloads named account-1,account-2 etc. It does not proceed to the next weep page.
I am using the latest Safari and operating system. Any Ideas.

When i try to access Apple store they informed me i have to answer 3 questions. I click continue but they asked me to complete a window with my pass again and again without redirecting me to the security step and without allowing me to answer the questions

Can not create a environment variable from a script

Hi I need to develop a script that allows me to create and set two environment variables in my system but I can�t get it ....
This is what I got till now ...

SEISDB_HOME=/usr/local/
export SEISDB_HOME
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
If I run this commands directly in the shell it works Ok ... but calling the sentence from a script nothing happens ....

create a script file
vi /tmp/temp
in /tmp/temp add
GLOBAL_VARIABLE="Hello World"; export GLOBAL_VARIABLE
save and quit vi
fix the permissions and run /tmp/temp from a shell prompt
then
echo $GLOBAL_VARIABLE
should show as empty
from a shell window type
. /tmp/temp
period space /tmp/temp
echo $GLOBAL_VARIABLE
for you script, do the same.
do not type the script name, but source it (add a period and space)

It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.
