I can not delete a film ! Please Help Me !
Dear all,
I have a problem, I have a film on my desktop which is locked. I can open and see the film, but when I try to delete it, it is impossible. What can I do ?

Drag the file to the Trash. If you can't empty the Trash try holding down the "Option" key while you select Empty Trash.
If that doesn't work hold down the Control key while you click on the file. A contextual menu will open (like a right-click) and select "Get Info." At the bottom of the window that open you should see "Ownership & Permissions" and below that "You can _____ In the drop down menu make sure it says you can "Read & Write" (you may need to enter your Admin. password to do the change). Then try putting it in the Trash/Deleting.

That means the hard drive of your computer is full, and you don't have enough free space on your computer, to do what you are trying to do.
You need to clear up space on your computer.
If you hard drive is full, check the following places to ensure they are not holding unwanted data.
- your trash can in the dock
- if you use iPhoto, your trash in iPhoto - launch iPhoto, and select trash in the left hand column. iPhoto has it's own trash, and is often overlooked
- your download folder - finder / home user / downloads - every time you download something, it stores it here. This is often overlooked as well
- do you have more than one user on the computer? If you do, ensure they are needed. If not, delete them, and the contents of their home folders
If you hard drive is very full, you may want to consider the following:
- putting in a newer larger hard drive - (call you local apple store for prices on this)
- deleting data off your computer
- moving data to an external drive - (iPhoto Libraries, iTunes Libraries or iMovie events, as they are the biggest space hogs) -

This is how I do it: With all the video & still's in the time line, I click on each (even if I have to use the command key and click on each file). When each file is active I go under SHARE- go to EXPORT MEDIA- I use the Apple Pro Res codec 4:2:2. If you do not click on each file in the time line it will not be exported out.

In that case only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.

We want to make sure that we get your phone up and running. Can you look to see where you have the most stuff stored at. Settings>General>Usage>Storage.
This will tell you what exactly is using everything. Then you can delete things from there.

There is no solution other than having the device cleared by the former owner. I was backing up my ipods this weekend. After I was done backing them all up I noticed that there was a circular symbol with an exclamation mark inside near some of my songs. When I click on the songs it tells me that the original file can not be located. I press the locate button on the message that appears but I can not find the song. Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

If you do not have this information then you will NEVER activate the iPhone
