. Complete shut down and restart including re-registration did not help. Assume there is anything wrong with my settings, but what ???
Have identical problem with a tablet and my wifes iPhone.
Have you checked the manually manage music box?

It sounds like you are unable to download or update any apps you have downloaded. If you are unable to log into http://www.icloud.com with your Apple ID and password, you can use the following link to reset your password.

If you can, then try logging out of your account in Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your phone:
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID.
If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your Apple ID now.
Tap Sign Out.

Then close all the running apps on the phone:

Can not install apps from appstore on my iPhone
When I download apps from iTunes, and want to synchronize with my iPhone, I keep getting and pop-up error saying something like "The Program xxx could not be installed on your iPhone because you are not authorized to play it on this computer"

I can not install app's from the app store on my phone,and when i try, i get a message tells me (cannot connect to itunes store) that happened after i updated it to "IOS6" . it's a "IPhone4 S"
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
I have an iPod touch that was my niece's and we restored it and now we can not install apps. It says that it needs an ios update but i cannot find where the update is available. My iTunes says it is the latest version and the web site doesn't have any updates that I can find

The Itune account was mine but when my husband update the detail it became his? Now we can not download apps the message that comes up says what ever the item is will be avalible for download when you login to the itune store on yur computer. But I am logged in.Please help??
You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs. -
Since loading 7.0.2 i can not purchase apps on my iPhone 4S. Previously installed apps update, and I can purchase apps on other devices. Any ideas?
Mine's much worst - can't send nor receive emails from Yahoo and Gmail. It simply won't connect. Gmail first gives an error about the SSL and to try again without it. But, it still won't connect. Yahoo on the other hand keeps on saying that the apple.imap server is not responding no matter what settings I change. It really does seem that there's something wrong on their end, however, it seems selective.
This is on top of the fact that all of my contacts were erased and the Personal Hotspot disappears intermittently.
By the way, I came from 4.2. I updated my wife's from 4.1 and her's is just peachy. -
i can not find "app of the day" from app store on my ipod,how can i find and download it?
It is possible that the app was removed from the App Store. If so you will not be able to get it back, unless you have it downloaded on your computer.
If you had downloaded it before and it is still in the store, you can go to the App Store app on your iPod and go to the Updates tab. Then you tap on "Purchased" and see if it is available to download from your previous purchases.

It sounds like you are unable to make or recieve phone calls because the screen goes black. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If that does not resolve the issue, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article, named:

I have verified my Apple ID several times on my Iphone but can not install APP updates. Everything work fine on my Ipad using same AppleID ect.?
Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

I can not dowload the new updated software for my Ipod touch 4G. When i do I get an error message that says Network connection has timed out. I have done the trouble shooting steps. Downloaded the latest version of Itunes, and checked network connection
Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

I just got my Ipad and I can not download apps. I get a message saying my Apple ID has been disabled. I have reset my password, I can access itunes and icloud but still can not download apps. Can someone please tell me how to get my ID activated? TY
Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it -

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
