I can not download news / information articles in text. Why and how do I fix it??
I could download news or information articles in text and then change the text of the article to present information as I wanted/needed.
What I get now is a page of continous text with no breakes or paragraphs etc. I also can not manipulate or make any changes to what is downloaded.
What happened and how do I fix the problem??
This problem happened close to the time that FireFox last updated.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Let's get your device working again! It's possible that your device just needs to be reprovisioned on our network. Please go to Settings>General>Reset>Subscriber Services>Reprovision Account. This may take several minutes. After allowing about 5 minutes for completion, please power your iPad off and back on, and test it again. Let us know if this takes care of it!

Make sure you are connected to the internet whether it is via Wi-fi or 3G.
Then, try turning Siri off in Settings>General>Siri and then wait a couple seconds after it is off. Turn it back on and ask it something again. -
I have a Macbook, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4. I also have iCloud on all three devices. For some reason I can not get new information from my contacts folder to transfer to the iPad or the iPhone. Never been a problem before.
POP: yahoo, aol, comcast/time warnder/road runner
Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

The option your looking for is available with iOS 5 or later. You need to update using iTunes on a Mac or PC.

I tried to download Firefox 4.0 on my Mac Intel running OS 10.6.6. I get a message that it can not download because libsmime3.dylib is open. And now FirFox 3.6 has disappeared. What do i do?
FireFox can't open lots of files it isn't suposed to. DMG is opened by the Mac osx as a virtual volume file you just drag the FireFox icon to where you want it installed. Check your desktop for a FireFox volume... like a drive. Double click the DMG file if it is not there. This is how Mac works it has nothing to do with FireFox, many apps install this way!

Backing up your phone isn't really relevant. You can download items you've already purchased (from the iTunes Store on your Mac) to your phone. If you have items you didn't purchase, e.g. ripped CDs, you would have to subscribe to 'iTunes Match' ($24.99 p.a.) to be able to do the same thing with them. -

First, I would try the following suggested steps for when you don't see content in iTunes after updating:
Quit iTunes.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes.
Use the Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer (Windows) to go to the iTunes folder that contains the iTunes library files:
Mac OS X
/Users/username/Music/iTunes/
Microsoft Windows Windows XP and Windows 2000
\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
Microsoft Windows Windows Vista and Windows 7
\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
Drag the iTunes Library file from the above location to the Desktop.
Open the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in the iTunes folder.
Locate the file named iTunes Library YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY-MM-DD is the date you upgraded iTunes (Year-Month-Day).
Drag this file to the iTunes folder (the enclosing folder).
Rename this file to iTunes Library.
Open iTunes.
You should now see your missing content in iTunes.

The menus.xml file is normally in your personal configuration folder. Before going to the trouble of reinstalling, try deleting your configuration folder. Details of how to find it are here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494812.
When you launch Dreamweaver, it should build a new configuration folder. -
Returned from trip and imported several hundred photos to Iphoto from a Nikon 3200. I photo will not allow me to catalog Faces on most pictures. Some randomly will accept Faces. Key words and Descriptions work.
Why and how do I fix this?As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import a few photos from your camera and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

If you go to Settings>Sounds>Ringtone>Classic you should be able to find it there.

Recently, when I create a new album (untitled), it immediately fills it immediately fills with picture either from the album above it or, if I have a Faces collection open, with the pictures from that collection. Why and how do I fix it?
When a new album is created it will fill with whatever is in the right hand window, If you're in the Events or Photos mode it will contain all photos in the library. Yes, strange behavior.
