I can not edit the form that I am filling in

I can not edit the form that I am filling out. I saved it to Desktop and was allowed to fill it in. But I can not erase some words that I want to change.

Are the words you want to change in form fields that you previously typed in?

We need to find out what you actually have here. There is no Adobe Reader Pro. There is Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
With Acrobat Pro, you may be able to do some editing after running OCR. With Adobe Reader, you cannot edit.

How can I edit a form that has "Extend Features in Adobe Reader"?

I created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and added Extend Features in Adobe Reader. I need to edit the form, but "Save a Copy" isn't removing the "Extend Features...". I get an error message that I can't edit the form & to "save a copy" in order to edit. What can I do?

When I saw the responses, I pulled out an old version and started over. I already deleted the one that wouldn't revert from extended functions and the copy I created to edit it based on removing extended functions with "save a copy". Thanks anyway. I'd love to know why it wouldn't remove extended functions.

I can not STOP THE MUSIC that is currently playing Looking for a music app or a way to let me stop the music that is playing. I have asked this over and over all over the internet and no one has an answer. I enjoy my music for a while but when it is time to STOP THE MUSIC I have found but one way - Turn off or power down the device. This is so annoying I have stopped playing and stopped purchasing any and all music of any type. If I can not find a way to do so I will remove all music from my devices until I may hear of how to STOP THE MUSIC. I have seen it is done on Android devices but no Apple devices. If there proves to never be a way to STOP THE MUSIC I will surely sell all 5 of my iPhones, iPads and iPad Minis and finally give up on Apple ever truly caring about their users.

Perhaps Apple has found the STOP unnecessary but I thoro enjoyed knowing whatever I was playing had STOPped and could not continue unless I chose to go back to the program or equipment and chose any of the 5 choices except STOP again since I could not STOP a STOP. As I said perhaps I need to reconsider my choices and obvious ignorance. Thanks for all the help.

There is no BIOS in OS X. There is only the EFI stored in ROM that is not user modifiable. OS X is probably checking Bay 0 for the boot drive since that is where it should be. It won't check the Tempo drive since it is treated like an external drive. I suggest you open Startup Disk preferences to see if the Tempo device is selected as the boot device. If it isn't, then select it. That will probably shave off a few seconds in the startup time.

If you cannot contact the former owner of the phone, it is useless to you. There is nothing you, Apple or any of us users on this forum can do. That's the purpose of Activation Lock.

ILife '11 can not hear the music that is added

With the iLife'11 I add music from iTunes, I see the green bar but can not hear the music. Worked for years with iMovie and never had this problem. Please help us. This is a major problem..!!

How can you edit a form that you've already created?

I'm not referring to the form fields. I mean if you have a typo for example in the docuyment you created from InDesign and now you need to go back and correct it. How can you do that and maintain all the fields you've already created?
If you're not able to do this, that would be a huge flaw in the workflow.

I do not use the Internet using wifi I use 3G mobile broadband and if I do need wifi it tells me I have to pay for it, but I can not work out how to install or connect my iPad with my new printer if there is not a cd slot or USB port. I only have an iPad no computer so how on earth do I use my printer with it if it I can't install the printer cd. I though I would be able to use Bluetooth and it would pick it up automatically but I am really confused now and don't know what to do please help.

The iPad uses AirPrint technology to print to a printer. Check this Apple support page to see if your printer is listed as being AirPrint compatible.

If your printer works with AirPrint you will need a Wi-Fi network in order to connect. That Wi-Fi network does not need to be connected to the Internet. As James Ward4 says, you'll need a Wi-Fi router to set up your network. Most routers require that a computer be used during the setup process. Perhaps you could use someone's computer to do the setup if you do not had one yourself. Once the router is set up you should be able to print.

Can not update the applications that are part of the Technical Communition Suite (TCS) 4.

The updates... menu is grayed out for all applications that are part of this suit. I know that FrameMaker (FM) 11.0 has updates that should be installed. I have downloaded a patch (11_0_1) for FM and it will not install. I get this message:
I have Admin rights on the computer and have selected Run As Admin.. when I attemp to install the patch.
I have TCS 3.5 also loaded and do not have any issues with loading updates.
OS: Windows 7
Any ideas as to why I can not install updates for the applications that are part of TCS 4?

There will be a .dat file by the name - AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
Capy this file and paste it on your desktop.
Open that file in Notepad from desktop.
Change the value in <Suppressed> tag to ”0” from "1"
<Preferences>
<Suppressed>0</Suppressed>
</Preferences>
After saving the bat file replace it back with the original file at location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\AAMUpdaterInventory\1.0
close the window and then try to install the patch again.

I can not copy the DVDs that I made with iDVD

I have a strange problem: I can not copy from a DVD that I made with iDVD (my footage, nothing with copyright). When I try to make a copy from the first DVD that I burned I receive the message that i do not have enough privieges. I checked the "Get information" tabs and I see at the end "Only read" (not copy). This was the 1st dvd that I burned with my new G4 with superdrive.
Any idea? Thanks for the help in advance

I do not know what this error message means. But using DocumenteExport Q-pac, I tried to write form variables to file. I set the document variable export to the file. Your error says: xmldata: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.
This indicates that the xmldata you are sending into your workflow is not properly created/formed (The input to the your Form Server Render Form Q-pac is not following specific standards).
According to http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_dtd.asp:
A "Well Formed" XML document is a document that conforms to the XML syntax rules that were described in the previous chapters:
* XML documents must have a root element
* XML elements must have a closing tag
* XML tags are case sensitive
* XML elements must be properly nested
* XML attribute values must always be quoted

Can not edit the index.html site

I designed a Site www.alter-porthhof.de and maked it ready
for editing with contribute. Everything works fine, but I seems
that I maked one mistake: I edited the index.html on my computer
for testing, and than I gave the user domainowner the admin rights.
He can edit everything and it works fine except the index.hmtl
site.
How can I change this? Is it possible to delete the hole
contribute thing, and than to from the beginning?

1. when you use dreamweaver to build and maintain the
website, check in the index.html file, so the lock-file
(index.html.lck) will be removed
2. wehen you use Contribute too, check if you have a draft
open of the index.html file, publish the draft or discard the draft
3. check with an ftp program on the server for index.html.lck
and delete this file, this will remove the lock on the page

Can not edit the sales order draft

we are using SAP 2005 B PL 44. we are not able to edit the sales order in the approval stage once it is approved or even not approved. for e.g. if the user sends a sales order to the higher level for approval but the higher level wants some modifications in the sales order to be done by the user and so approval request is rejected by the approver. now when the user opens the draft to change it, no row at sales order detail is editable. please let us know if there is some problem with the Patch.
