Somehow I can not find face time in the I phone 5 and not in the contact also

Was the iphone purchased in a middle eastern country? Some governments there (e.g. UAE) do not allow facetime on phones sold there.

I can not find Facetime sitting in my Iphone 5c. I tried all the steps mentioned in Apple support but, it's not working.
I was using it ok when I was in Qatar where I bought my iphone but, once I moved to germany I installed new german SIM card and since then I never could find FaceTime again.
is it because I should change my apple store to German store or change my address I dot know.

FaceTime may be unavailable if your device originates from this region and becomes unlocked or is used in another country.
Facetime was disabled because you removed the phone from the country of origin and are now using a foreign SIM. You will not be able to use facetime on that phone at all unless you are in Qatar and using a carrier in Qatar.

I Bought in Saudi Arabia iPhone 5 and I can not find facetime the mobile Model ( md663ae ) And I did not find it in the settings

Maybe the FT app or s/w part was omitted from the iPhones sold in SaudiArabia when you purchased them.
But,
I have an iPhone5 bought in the US.
Currently I am in Saudi Arabia and I use FaceTime everyday to talk to my girlfriend.
In India I found that FT does not work when on 3G, it works only over WiFi.
But to my delight, in Saudi Arabia FT works on 3G as well.
Then, a month ago, I bought a new iPhone5 for my friend in India.
FT was available on the phone and we used it in India.
As I did not open the box in SaudiArabia, I am not sure if FT on the phone I purchased in Riayadh works in Riyadh.
Iam pretty sure that FT work on phones being sold in Riyadh now-a-days.

I have a new iPad and can not get FaceTime to verify. The AppleID is verified. Internet connection is good. My son uses his iPod to FaceTime on the same router.

Serena Dimensions plugin can not find resource when syncronizing new item

We have managed to link an application to a Dimensions project, and syncronizing files that exisit in the repository works fine, but when adding new files to the repository, JDev crashes with an exeption:

The item is not created.
It makes no difference if subversion i active at the same time or not.
Syncronizing with the Dimensions client or from a file explorer works fine.
I have tried to reinstall both jdev, Dimensions client and the extension with the same result.
This makes the extension pretty useless.

1. Disabling auto checkout
go to menu Tools -> Preferences -> Versioning -> Dimensions -> General
this is the GUI approach to manipulating the preferences xml file that you have found. You should never need to amend this file manually
1.c/2 We have an ER to provide a way to work on a file locally/writeable. It is not possible in this version. You could use the file system to set the file to writeable, but it is not supported
3.a the Help files are the only documentation that we provide. It is not expected to be a full tutorial on Dimensions, but to support using the JDEV UI to interact with Diremnsions.
What do you feel is missing from help?
I have noticed that the Tools - Preferences for Dimensions are not documented in help and I will get a bug raised for that.
b. the lock icon does, indeed, mean logged out. If you hover the mouse over the file in question the tool tip gives the meaning of the icon.
ii. I don't recognise this second icon. Can you reproduce it and hover over the file - let me know what it is, I will get the icons updated in Help

I need to authorise my macbook to my apple Id. Apple support told me to go onto itunes then into store menu but I cant find it anywhere. Ive searched everywhere for it and googled it but all are steps to help windows and not macbooks. Someone please help me authorise my computer.

There is not a seperate FaceTime app with the iPhone. FaceTime is incorporated with the iPhone without needing a seperate app as is required with an iPod Touch and iPad. To start a FaceTime call with a contact, select the contact and at the bottom of the contact's info are the following selections.

You could try this,
Setting > General > International > Region Format > and change it to the Philippines
this might then allow it to work okay.
The other thing is, which sim are you using? If you are using a sim from Saudi Arabia, then it might always be blocked. In this case you might want to get/borrow a sim from the Philippines to see if this allows FaceTime.
Also just to confirm what others have said, there is no FaceTime icon on an iPhone. Simply go to your contacts and you will see the FaceTime option in there.

When you connect your ipod up to the computer. It should show the device, usually with the name of the device, in my case 'jordan's ipod'. This should be on the row which shows 'songs', 'albums' e.t.c on the far right. There when you click on it it should go to a different screen showing a picture of your ipod along with two buttons - Update and Restore. Click update and it should take a 2 mins while your ipod is updated to the latest version of Ios.
After updating te ipod see if there is a change in results.
PS: make sure the device is active while syncing so keep tapping the screen.

If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.
Have you set up your iCloud account on your replacement phone, and is it working properly on that phone?

I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

Personally, I would not recommend deleting/removing the iWorks 09 folder for several reasons: one is that the new versions have had several functionalities removed and until you decide that you can work with the new one and do not miss any features the older version had, I would leave the old one in place. Personally, I will not be using the new versions.
The second reason is that you can accomplish what you want using a different approach: simply open a Get Info window of your document and choose which version of Pages you want this to open in - you can also stipulate that all docs like this are opened with whichever particular version.
FWIW: Once you have edited an old document in the new Pages version, you can no longer open it in the older version. However, you can still export it to the old version.
