I can not get my ipod 4 gen to log into Free Wifi hotspots. It shows that it is connected but I have to internet activity. I was at several hotspot locations last night and could not get on any, but other people were. HELP.

- Did the other users who successfully connected have iDevices?
- Frequently you have to open Safari/a browser and agree to the terms and conditions of the wifi spot before yo can get to the internet. Some wifi spots use Flash or Java to log on which the iPod (and other iDevices) do not support)
- Have you tried resetting network settings: Settings:General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Does you Ipod successfully connect at home?.

No. Find My Phone is the only way to locate any lost iPhone. However, this requires that Find My Phone be turned on/activated before the phone was lost, and the phone must have an Internet connection. If your phone is turned off, does not have an Internet connection, or has been restored, there is no way to locate it.

i had free adobe reader and i scanned a doc to send to a client and as of last night i could not send as an attachment thru my email. So I paid for the 89.99 year adobe pkg and it still wont let me email a scanned and saved doc. it says 'an unknown error occurred'?

My 2007 Macbook pro Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed 2.33 GHz has power issues with one or some of my USB powered devices. Last night I could not back up my Lacie external drives with software SuperDuper, hard drive copier. I also had a message that Time machine failed. I have two powered 12V USB
routers that are plugged into a 550VA CyberPower surge protector. I often receive these insufficient USB power for devices messages a dozen times even when I do not have devices like camera, Ipad, Ipod, and Tascam digital audio recorder plugged in. Is there a way to troubleshoot these USB routers or should I consider that one of the routers may be defective and replace them?

My iPhone ran out of battery last night, and now it won't turn on.
The top button doesn't work anyway, but I've tried charging to wake it up using several chargers and via a laptop and plug socket.
The phone's about a year old, and has otherwise been working fine. I've no idea why it would just stop working - no water spilt on it or anything like that.

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I currently had my personal hotspot turned back on. I have it connected to another device ( which is my daughters Htc hero.) I have done this before so she could get onto Facebook ect. So my problem is it is showing we are connected but her hero won't connect to anything that requires Internet. I've tried everything but all I get on her phone is error could not connect to server. Any help would be very grateful!
My WiFi hotspot only works right after rebooting my iPhone 4S. Upon attempting to reconnect after that initial session, I can only tether using a USB cable... Not good enough Apple!
I took my phone to an Apple Store on the weekend and had it completely reset. That has made the phone faster but it hasn't resolved the hotspot issue.
It seems that the issuei is in the OS itself, so I'm holding out hope for a fix soon... I'm holding off on an upgrade to iPhone 5 until I'm completely satisfied that I won't experience these problems again... -
