Have you updated i tunes lately? after i update i have to make a new shortcut because the update breaks my old one.

If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes), then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

I can't get my itunes to open.

If you're looking ehre you already know the issue. I can't get my itunes to open up. At all. I click the icon on my bottom bar and it briefly acts like it's going to open (like, 2 seconds of the circular icon) then it does absolutely nothing. I opened up my task menu to see if it's registering as sometimes I've had programs not open due to there being one "open" but not available.
I see the usual iTunes helper but nothing else. So, with the task window open I attempt to open my itunes to see if it is at least attmpeting to open. Alas, i see the .exe for itunes. Two seconds later it disappears.
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. It's doing the same thing it had been.
Any advice to fix this issue would be grand.

How are you viewing your library? In Song view or Album View?
If in Album view pull down View > Show View Options and select Sort by: Artist, then: (whichever choice you want here).
If in Song view I like to see the album artwork so pull down View > Show View Options and select "show album artwork" and close the small window. Then click on the column that contains the artwork and sort it by Artist.

I have never had this issue before, However today when I attempted to sync with my iTunes I couldn't for the life of me get iTunes to read my device. My computer sees it's connected, but iTunes can't see the iPad.

I need serious help! I can not seem to restore my iPod to Windows as it is in MAC format. The windows computer "dings" when plugged in, but is not recognized in iTunes or computer. I have no problem when it is plugged into my MAC!!! PLEASE HELP, this is frustrating!

I am trying to download itunes from the site but it saves it, then i can't find it to run it...any suggestions?

Try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

I can not get into itunes store, it wont open, was fine before. Installed 10.2 thinking it would help. gives error code 306

Since installing McAfee I have noticed my itunes store will not open. I tried downloading version 10.2 and nothing. It gives me an error cod 306, and tells me they couldnt complete my request and an unknown error has occured. I don't know if the 2 are related but Its frustrating because it was working fine before!?

ok when i click to open itunes, i get the window asking me whether or not I agree to the Itunes software license agreement. I click agree and then i get an error message stating that "The itunes application could not be opened. An unknown error occured [-48].
Can somebody please help me or if anyone even knows a number i could call for support regarding itunes, i would greatly appriciate that.
