I can not get my iTunes to read my iPad even after troubleshooting

I have never had this issue before, However today when I attempted to sync with my iTunes I couldn't for the life of me get iTunes to read my device. My computer sees it's connected, but iTunes can't see the iPad.
I have attempted to troubleshoot by:
1. updating my iTunes
2.  restarting my iPad
3. uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling
4. restarting my computer
5. changing chords and usb ports
6. resetting my iPad and deleting all the content (after storing the backup in iCloud)
I am out of ideas... Help!

    How are you viewing your library? In Song view or Album View?
    If in Album view pull down View > Show View Options and select Sort by: Artist, then: (whichever choice you want here).
    If in Song view I like to see the album artwork so pull down View > Show View Options and select "show album artwork" and close the small window. Then click on the column that contains the artwork and sort it by Artist.

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
    If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes), then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

    Ive been through various threads on here.
    There has been quite a few things said and some people are having luck with.
    Reset all your settings works, but only once. when you shut down and open back up same problem.
    Ive tried changing how my cookies respond, this doesnt work either.
    My app store loads in a second, fastest its ever been.
    Ive noticed that when your in settings and click on something eles it takes maybe a second or two before it changes to the next screen something thats never happened on 6
    it seems very laggy and slow on somethings and super fast on others
    Come on Apple get yer finger out and sort this out soon, its you thats loosing my cash as I cant buy any music!!!

    i can not get the wifi to sync to my ipad mini. i have reset the setting 4 times and nothing i have turn my wifi off and on and nothing. i keep getting asked to retype my password and when i pressed join after it isnt enabled to connect help ?? do i need to take this in store ?

    I assume that you cannot connect to the internet because you don't sync to WiFi. Perform the following steps in the order listed and see if you can connect then.
    Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap the blue arrow next to your network name>Tap Forget this network in the next screen.
    Reset your router. Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
    Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
    Reset your iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
    Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap your network name, enter your password, tap Join.

    Since updating my itunes account last April, I have not been able to get through the verification process. I click the "verify" to send a verification email, but it never gets to my email. I was with Apple's support for 45 minutes Sunday night. They say the emails were sent and did not bounce back, so I should contact my mail provider. I have checked my spam folder and even called my mail provider's support. They say nothing of the sort has come from Apple. I'm getting rather frustrated over all this. Has anyone had this experience and can anyone help? I can't download anything from Apple for my computer or iphone. Is there some special source for this email from Apple that is not recognized at my end? Thank you for any help.

  • I can not get my itunes to recognize my ipod touch, I called support and when i found out there was a charge I politely said no thanks and hung up. now I can't even get the itunes to download!!

    I have tried since Chrismas to use my Ipod touch and have not been able to!  I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes more often then I care to admit!  I called support and when I found out there is a charge ($59.95) I declined and hung up.  I now can't even download itunes!  I guess I find that a little fishy.  I was so happy with this gift and now I am so frustrated I am about to return it and never purchase another apple product again!
