When I download a long album from ITunes containing like 20-30 tracks, why does ITunes sometimes segregate one track and create a separate album out of it. I can merge the track into the other tracks on a playlist, but I can not merge the 2 albums.

When I download an opera album with lets day 40 songs (tracks). Why does iTunes create one album of tracks lets say 1 through 22, skip 23 and then 24 through 40. Then a separate album with track 23 is created. I can merge them together in a playlist but not as a single album. I go into the info under the file menu for each and make sure the information is the same but they still will not merge.

I'm not sure why this happens, but I found a workaround. Below the album title it will list the artist(s). The issue seems to happen when there are multiple artists. For example, an Album titled "Over the Sea to Skye" has The Chieftains and James Galway as artists. Some tracks (for whatever reason) will list only one of these and result in the playlist showing what appears to be multiple albums. You can click on the artists and it will highlight. Paste in what is appearing on the other "albums" and it will then show as one:
Hope that is somewhat clear enough to help. Doesn't fix whatever the issue is but it is a workaround. For me this is only happening with CD's that I have imported.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

You will wait for the rest of your life. You need to fix it; no one else will. To turn off "Find my iPhone" and its associated Activation Lock you need the Apple ID and password that were used to turn it on. If you know the Apple ID you can contact Apple Account Security and have them reset the password (after you prove you are the rightful owner of that Apple ID). see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699.
If you don't know the Apple ID the phone is permanently unusable.

You can't merge Apple IDs.
And you also can't change the name of an iTS Apple ID to another one that ends in a me.com.

Okay this is what fixed my problem. Some kind of error/glitch occured half-way through importing that third cd that prevented further imports from any other cd. Once I completely removed the half-imported cd album from my library I could further import cd's without any problems.

She was as frustrated as I and was going to kick the problem "upstairs." I have more than just that issue on my MBP (iPhoto keeps asking me to "upgrade" everytime I open it, old Safari windows open when I restart or turn the machine on from a shutdown....I think it's possessed. Can not use stored windows credential when running merge agent with agent proxy

I have an account ACCT_A and create a windows credential
CRED_B target to server DISTRIBUTOR_1 (with cmdkey).
And I setup a pull subscription to DISTRIBUTOR_1 and set merge agent run under agent proxy with credential of account
ACCT_A (The sql server agent is running as LocalSystem or Network Service). Then the merge agent job will failed and complain "Failed to connect to distributor
DISTRIBUTOR_1".
However if I change the sql server agent to run as ACCT_A and let merge agent job run as SQL Server Agent Service Account it will successfully connect to distributor
DISTRIBUTOR_1 with credential CRED_B, with other setting unchanged.
Here are the questions:
Is it possible to grant other accounts to access one's stored windows credential in Credential Manager?
I suppose merge agent job will get full security context of ACCT_A when it runs under agent proxy with credential of ACCT_A and should be able to access stored credential CRED_B and
successfully connect to DISTRIBUTOR_1. But nowCRED_B seems can not be accessed by merge agent. Could somebody explain what's the problem here?

I imported a CD that I had burned previously with the 2 tracks of sound effects that I had downloaded from the internet (MP3 files), but I did not see an option to join the tracks when I imported the CD. In the upper right corner there were three buttons: Options, CD Info, and Import CD. When I click on Options, the drop-down menu has two choices: "Get Track Names" and "Submit CD Track Names". I cannot find an option to Join Tracks. Help!

It seems that you have to choose one or the other, keep iMAcc addresses or iPhone.

Indeed you can merge the address book using iCloud. You can find the info here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3998. I am not sure if you can de-duplicate though.
If that doesn't work or you want more out of your address book, you can always try connex.io (I work for the company). It's a service that automatically syncs, deduplicates, cleans and updates your address book across many different devices and services. I have 2 years worth of apps/songs downloaded from iTunes with a user ID that isn't part of a valid email address, how can I merge thats apps/songs with a new valid and iCloud supported ID? I hate to think of starting all over a new purchase history in order to use iCloud system.

Photo merge panorama import file size?

Is it necessary to convert files to jpeg when doing a photo merge panorama. I keep getting to told to convert to 8 bit from 16 bit and am not sure how to do that.

Which version of photoshop elements and operating system are you using?
If these are camera raw files, then most likely the camera raw converter is set to open the files as 16 bits/channel in photoshop elements.
You can change that by opening a camera raw file and then at the bottom of the camera raw dialog set the Depth to 8 Bits/Channel and then press Done.
Try your pano again and see if that made a difference.
