I can not open my downloaded apps

i just updated my phone last night. this morning my son played a new game that was also dowloaded last night. now i can not open any of my downloaded apps on the phone. i have shut off my phone three times trying to reset it. can anyone help?

FOR ANYONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM...JUST DOWNLOAD A FREE APP. IT WORKS I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT...

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Please help me. I can not open any downloads sent to my computer. Every email with a download, comes up with "...contains a virus..." I think it might be a firewall (don't know that for a fact) but it was happening before I installed the Fix-It Utilities11 and now it happens all the time. Can anyone help me? It is probably just me - I am not particularly trusting - I hate "trial period" software. I don't know recognise Fix-It Utilities 11; I did call it up and look at the webpage for it and read the cover page...

In My Opinion:
Whatever Fix-It might be doing, it doesn't seem to have fixed anything. It is possible your system is so badly infected that you are in the "badlands" of virus-ville; on the other hand, the sort of "horror message" seems a bit over the top for a tool that is supposed to fix your computer. The page I read compared this software to Registry Mechanic and that makes me cringe.
IMO, remove this Fix-It software from your computer.
Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features > find and remove it
Reboot
Install some decent Anti-Virus software and run a deep scan on your computer. I will recommend two free ones. You can try one or both - not at the same time; remove one if you want to try the next. I will provide a web page so you can check on other products.
I have used the Avast Free version in the past; I now use the licensed version. We also have the free AVG on at least one system. There are other good products. The point is to use something to thoroughly sweep your system for issues and make sure it is healthy.
NOTE: To run either (any) of the Anti-Virus products that I mention, you MUST remove Norton (if you have it on your system). Norton Security does not mix with other security software. It will complain when you try to remove it. Just tell it to go away and it will do so if you insist. Restart (Reboot) you computer after removing Norton and before installing other Anti-Virus Security Software... Norton is removed from Programs and Features (above).

I can not open or download anything PDF

I have Windows Vista. Up until yesterday, I could open saved PDF files from my desktop and I could open PDF files online.
Now I can not open anything PDF and I can not even find Adobe on my desktop. I am unable to download Adobe.
Help. I need to access PDF files that are saved on my computer as well as access new ones online.

Can not open my iBook app please help

iBook app wil load for two seconds then automatically jumps screen to my homepage. Please help

Try closing the iBooks app via the taskbar and see if it works when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the iBooks app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the iBooks app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If it still doesn't work then you could try deleting the app and re-download it from the store - buy first copy your ibooks / PDFs / epubs from it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can copy them back afterwards (if your ibooks are still in the store then you should also be able to re-download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app)

I can not open the messages app on my daughters iphone 3gs

every time you try and open the message app the screen goes blank, white for around 10 seconds then revirts to the home screen, is there anywhay of fixing this, she has 2 messages recieved but can not read them or open them.

Close out of the message app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check the message app again.
Hopefully you haven't restored yet.

Ipad will not open any downloaded apps

My ipad will not open any apps that I downloaded. How do I fix this?

If they are crashing - try downloading another app - any free app is fine.
If they will not open at all when you tap on the icons - try restarting or resetting the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Can not open itunes, download problem

I have not used my laptop for a while and when i have started to use it again i can't access my iTunes program, i have tried removing and re- downloading it but i always get a message telling me that there is a corrupt file ands to run the 'chkdsk utility i have tried this but still can't open iTunes.
Can anyone please help me..

Can not open wmv download

I bought a new iMac last August and have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 installed. Several of my other iMac friends send me downloads by wmv. and I can never open them. A screen comes up that says: “ The document could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that Quick Time Player understnads.“
I am wondering how these other iMac users can open these downloads, but I can’t. I assume I need some other software, and that my QuickTime Player v.10.0 needs help. Anyone know what I should do?? And, where to go to do it??

Quicktime is only capable of certain audio and video file formats.
If you would need support for WMV, could could install the Flip4Mac Quicktime plugin (free):

After download Itunes 11.0.1 can not open store but Apps update is good.

I downloaded new Itunes 11.0.1. Music, Films, apps are all on screen.
I can also update my Apps from the appstore.
But when I want to go tot the Apple Store for aan new app or new music it says: ITunes doesn't work, waiting for a sollution.
When I do the internettest the last one fails: no safe combination with ITunes store.
I had this problem not with Itunes 10.

Can not open file download prompt in portal web app.

I am migrating existing Struts app into portal web app and currently stuck on the following problem.
In existing app, Struts action calls servlet that generates excel file, sets response headers:
response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
response.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename=thename.csv");
that brings up "file download" prompt window.
In portal app, the same code writes excel file content into browser window instead of the prompt.
Has anyone had to deal with similar problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Problem is resolved. For those who might be interested - specifying redirect=true on forward to servlet did the trick.

I can not open my download from cafescribe which is a digital book for school.

I am taking an online class and it required a digital text book from Cafescribe. The class started last monday and their IT people are telling me that Mozilla is the problem. I don't usually have a problem opening downloads..HELP

I'm not familiar with that service. Can you test it in Firefox's Safe Mode? This temporarily disables your add-ons, so it's a useful way to quickly learn whether one of your add-ons might be the problem.
I recommend first making a backup of your Firefox settings just in case something goes wrong. Easiest to just copy your whole profile folder to another location on your C drive. To locate that folder, see: [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles Profiles].
