II have just buy a desktop and creative play center has been already installed in this. I try it and the sound blaster li've canot read CD audio. How to fixed it

What OS are you using? If it's Windows 2000/XP, make sure that the CDROM properties in device manager and set to use Digital CD Playback.

How can I play an audio CD with QT 7.1.6?
I want to play an audio CD with QuickTime 7.1.6.
When I click on Open file and select the CD drive, change th file type to Audio Files and mark "Open as read-only" nothing is displayed. When I change to "All Files (.)" the tracks are showed with an ".cda" extension. When I dobleclick on a track, I get the Error -2048: the file is not a movie file.
How can I play an audio CD with QuickTime 7.1.6?I confirm your issue as I just tried an audio CD in my XP laptop. "All Files" showed only the 44 byte .cda files and no others. QuickTime couldn't open them (error -2048).
I also tried "Open File" with version 7 Pro and it couldn't open.
Odd that I get the option to open using iTunes and it opens and plays just fine. Since iTunes uses the QuickTime engine I would have thought QuickTime could read the files directly.
The same audio CD inserted in my Mac allowed me to double click any track and it opened directly in QuickTime Player. The files show as .aiff files measured in MB's.
Windows users could open an audio CD in iTunes and then convert to .aiff (no compression) and then open the .aiff in QuickTime.
I guess I should have tried myself before getting your hopes up. I apologize. -

I have updated my iphone 4s to iso 6 operating system. I am not happy this this new operating system. Anyway, i have a problem playing videos in background after the update.. I was able to play youtube music in background with iso 5.1 but not with iso 6..

Ios 8 iphone can not play audio message in imessage
Seems I can send sound clips from my iPhone 5, but when someone sends me one I get a box with a ? in it and can not play it even though it says I have received an audio message. If I am at the lock screen I can hit play but then it appears to freeze.

I just installed OSX Mountian Lion, and ever since then I can not play youtube video's. I get the message of 'Blocked Plug-in' in the youtube screen. I have tried installing Adobe Flash Player. HTML 5, also tried enabling/disabling java, but nothing worked out. Is there any way I can play youtbe vieos on Safar. (It works fine with Google Chrmoe, only safari has problem)
If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Try uninstalling the currently installled Flash plugin (required for most YouTube content) then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar

I take it you tried using the "right click" menu? That doesn't seem to work, as you noted, but, you should be able to paste text by pressing your CTRL key and while holding it down, press the "V" letter key.
CTRL + C = COPY
CTRL + X = CUT
CTRL + V = PASTE

After migrating to a retina macbook with mountain lion I can not play windows media player files anymore. I use flip4mac pro 3.0 and quicktime 7.6.6.
The message I receive is: De bewerking kan niet worden voltooid. (OSStatus fout -50). I also have problems with zip files that can not be saved on the desktop anymore while unzipping.I actually installed Quicktime pro and Flip4Mac Pro again after I bought the Retina Macbook. Today I did it again but still get the same OSStatus error -50. I guess there is some old file that has to be removed. Flip4Mac comes with an uninstaller. Quicktime does not.
I read that his could be something with security that is why I mention the problem with the zip files as well. -
I have had this iMac for 5 years and have had zero problems with it , I run the lastest software (not mountain Lion) and all of a sudden I can not play downloaded videos that have been sent to me. What can I do ?
Either launch VLC (assuming you have installed it) and then open the file you want to view from within VLC, or, select the file (don't open) you want to view and do Command+I and from the window that appears select VLC from the 'Open with:' option.
You can make this the default if you wish by also clicking on the 'change all' button. -
Files recently downloaded from Canon Legeria FS306 to iMovie '11 do not play the audio. I can still hear audio on the camera or by downloading the same files to a PC. The first thing to try is to run Software Update (the Update tab in the Mac App Store.). This was an issue a couple of releases ago, and an update seemed to fix it.
If you are already at the most recent version of iMovie, then I don't know how to solve you issue. Maybe someone else will have some ideas. -
Suddenly, I cannot sync my Boselink with iPhone. Iphone 4s says Bose sound...not connected. I JUST updated software to iOS 6.1.3. Why isn't this working? I can not play pandora on my Bose.
They are absolutely now paired after doing all you said, as I reset both the Bose Link and the Iphone. Now we have a pair, but no sound on the speaker or the iphone when they are connected. I know they are connected b/c the iphone says they are in the blue tooth setting AND the Bose has a solid blue tooth light on.
Now what? This is beyond frustrating and only happened when I UPDATED ios!

Ovi Suite 3.0.0.290 Can not play Video taken with ...
It is quite amazing that software by Nokia can not replay Video taken with phone by Nokia.
VLC player plays the video OK so the video (MP4) looks to be all right.
All thet Ovi says is that the video can not play. Format may not be supported .I have the same problem, in that I can't get my video's recorded on the phone to play. If I try to double-click and play within Ovi Suite it crashes Ovi Suite, if I open Windows Media Player and try and run it then WMP crashes too (is Ovi Suite using WMO under the skin?) and the best I can get is when I try it with QuickTime I get sound from it but just black screen for the video.
So yes, I suspect it's a problem on my PC but can anyone give ideas on how to fix it?
