I can not play quicktime videos on my IPhone 5 or even transfer them from ITunes onto the phone

How do I put these videos on the phone?

I have seen to much of the same problem.

I tried Notpod but can't get it to work. Part of the problem, I suspect, is that I can't create a folder on my player (a SanDisk Clip+). I also can't do this in Windows Explorer. Whilst I can see the Clip+ in Explorer, the option to create a new folder isn't there.
The error mesag I get in Notpod is:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelctedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex"
Then, when I plug the Clip+ into a USB port, iTunes thinks it is my iPad - which is because, I guess, Notpod hasn't worked.
I can drag and drop files from the Music folder where my iTunes tracks are stored onto the Clip+ and they get converted but I'd rather synchronise a Playlist from iTunes if I can.

Thanks for your assistance. Unfortunately I'm still not able to get this to work.
First, I don't see an export to Quicktime in AppleTV format setting. The only choices that I have are export to Quicktime in Full, CD, email or streaming video format.
I tried both full and CD but I still cannot get it to my AppleTV. Once the video is in Quicktime format I drag and drop the file into my iTunes library. It shows up in the movies directory on Itunes but when I sync Itunes with Apple TV - nothing. Everything else syncs but just not the quicktime movie.
Any ideas?

Can't play quicktime video in IE 11 on Windows 8.1

So, I wanted to watch the sweet new film of the iPhone 6, but after I click the "Watch the film" link, all I get is the player control... I can't get the video to play:
I'm running the latest version of IE 11 on Windows 8.1 64-bit. I also have the latest version of QuickTime v7.7.1.
For what it's worth, I also can't watch the video in Chrome, presumably because I have the latest version of Chrome 37.0.2062.120 m (64-bit) and the QuickTime plugin is only 32-bit and not compatible with this version of Chrome.

I updated quicktime to 7.7.5, restarted my computer, and again I was not able to view the video. Just like the screenshot above, I can see the player, but I can't play the video. I then tried to re-install, by selecting repair as you suggested, and still it does not work.
Surely I'm not the only person with this issue.

How can I play QuickTime videos on an iPad?

Is there an application I can use to play/see QuickTime videos on my iPad? I have already tried to use the iTunes process Syncing photos/videos, but QuickTime videos don't seem to be recognized on my iPad, regardless of trying to download from my SDcard or my PC. I'm assuming I may need some type of a converter??

Could you describe your issue in more detail?
You've imported the contents of your camera into iPhoto, some of which are video clips. However, when you try to play the video clips, you get an error. Is that correct?

HELP! Can not play quicktime files and no audio when it does!!!

i tried opening a .mov file and the message said "you are missing a component that is necessary to open...blah, blah." then it gave me the link to the quicktime site for the 3rd party filters...but which one do i need? there were several and i have no idea. plus, the audio thing is making me mad.
quicktime was pretty much didn't exist, so i popped in a itunes install disk and re-installed quicktime and that corrected my video problem. but now i'm having all this other stuff. and help will do. thank you.

I have never heard of an "iTunes" install disk. Where did you get this disk from?
The latest version of QuickTime is v7.1.3. Is this the version you currently have?

My iphone 4 has got the apple logo on the screen but nothing else happens, can not reboot using on/off- home keys, error in trying to reboot from itunes, please help

Does your device have a full charge? Often if you give it a full charge, that will fix the problem
If that doesn't work, plug it into itunes and run any updates that may be available.
Let me know if we are still broken after this.

Seriously, due to iTunes' file being locked with DRM and being in a format that is incompatible with the Zen, the only thing you could do is look for underground/illegal methods to remove the DRM and convert the file into unprotected MP3. Due to the illegality of the issue, I cannot provide instructions (that, and the fact that iTunes won't let me buy music from them because Malaysian money isn't good enough for them, therefore I haven't actually tried).
