I can not put music on my iphone 5 no matter what I try. Any ideas?

I've gone through the communities on here and tried to find any answer to my question, but to no avail. I've enabled manual management, tried dragging music, pushing the add to button, etc. Nothing works when i try to put music on my phone. Please help!

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

iTunes gift cards are only valid on accounts based in the country in which the card was issued - so if you have a US account then you can only use US gift cards. Do you know anybody in the country where you bought it from that you could sell or give it to ? Or you could try selling it on a site such as eBay.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

iTunes Radio is not yet available in Canada.
According to this Apple Support page, it is currently only available in the US and Australia which is revealed half-way down the page, between the two matrices.
For those with an aversion to scrolling, or with TL;DR issues, simply ⌘-F "iTunes Radio availability by country".

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Can't put music onto my Iphone 4 or listen to any music previously on it. Help!!

Hello. For the past 2 weeks every single time ive tried to put any music onto my iphone 4 it comes up as not sync'd and on my phone it shows the song with a little red square and a red circle around it. Yesturday I tried again but this time all 1500 songs on my phone started showing the red square and circle. I have updated to iOS7 but not the update since then as that update has done enough damage to my phone as is. Does anyone know how I can fix this as music is the entire reason I ever bought an Iphone to begin with..

I deleted every song off of my phone on the phone and on itunes but as i was getting the pictures together for this post apparently all the music i deleted is back on my phone but all still with the red square and circle.

Can not sync music to my iPhone

I can't seem to sync music to my iphone.
I have done this previously without issue.
I click on sync but then it reverts back to the previous status, and syncs only photos and apps.
Any ideas how I can resolve this?

After having to restore my library there are songs that are on my iphone that aren't on the library, and whenever I plug my iphone into itunes it wants to do a restore which would make me lose all the music and my data. Is there a way I can get the music onto my computer and into itunes without having to restore the iphone? Is it a problem with the phone?

Not necessrily, you just need to find a 3rd party program to transfer content that is ripped or purchased outside of iTunes.

Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

In the main iTunes browser window, select Music.

- i reinstalled my PC to Windows 7 Ultimate and installed latest iTunes version.

Again, "it" is correct.
You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.
The itunes content and picture sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.
If you sync contacts to a blank computer, then they will be erased as well.
