to write it horizontally.
I would like to know id it may be a software problem ir just cant do it.

JeanneI believe the keys on an imac are F11 and F12, for dark / bright respectively.
Try that, I think it'll work.

There is a screen lock. If the Rotation Lock is on you will see a circular arrow surrounding a small lock at the top of your screen near the battery level indicator. To turn on or off the Rotation Lock swipe up from the very bottom of the screen to being up the Control Center. Look for that same icon and tap it.

Do you have the Lock Screen switch in the wrong position? It's the switch on the right side just above the volume switch. Try moving it to the opposite position to see what displays on the screen. If the rotate arrow displays, then you are good to go....

You are welcome...and again, the safe thing to do is take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar and have them sort it out. If you have an iCloud account, backup your content to iCloud before you go...that way if they have to replace the iPhone they can restore your content to the replacement while you wait.
