I can not see file( photo,document) in IM APPS

Hi Everybody,
I need your help!!! I chat with my brothers with my iphone 4 and they use Blackberry or computer to chat with me. I can send all file or photo to them but when they want to send it also to me during chatting (via Im+,MSN,eBuddy), I can not see anything not even invitation to accept it. It likes they did not send anything to me but they said they trying to send a photo to me. Does anyone know what is wrong with my iphone?

Skype, MSN, IM+, ebuddy.. I use all of that IM apps and i can not see the photo at all. In skype it shows this text on my brother's screen "the other person is on the device that doesnt let them receive file"

When I go into photos or events under library I can not see my photos, only empty squares. I rebuilt iphoto by holding down option-command keys

iPhoto is listed under iLife
I have not used iPhoto enough to be able to offer solution for you.

Photostream syncs but I can't see the photos in the native app.

Okay here is the problem I have. I own 2 Ipad2's one of them works great the other one does not. I can't see the photos in the photostream folder, but if I use a photo program I can see all the photos that are in the photostream folder or if I go and change the background of the iPad I can see all of the photos. So I know Photo Stream is working on the iPad but I just can't see them in the Photo Stream Folder. On my other Ipad2 it works great no problems using the same account.
I have tried to turn photo stream off and than back on, I have deleted the account from the IPad and turned it back on, I have powered down the IPad and than turned it back on....
Any Ideas? Should I just hard reset and start over ?

Can't see files in document / downloads folder on dmg disk image

So my last update OSX 10.6.8 crapped out and i couldnt boot the system anymore... So i decided to install a new system, before i did that i backed up my whole HDD with disk utility into a compressed DMG file. I went ahead and installed OSX 10.7 new mounted the DMG file, problem is i can't see any files in my document or in my downloads folder anyone has a solution for this or know what causes this problem. Please let me know.

The Finder is a bit lackadaisical about updating itself, you can click back & forth enough times, closing folders, opening folders and eventually it'll be in touch, or you can try something like "A Better Finder Attributes", for it's "force the Finder to update stale information about your files" feature.

- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

If you're looking on icloud.com, you won't find photo stream photos there. Photo stream photos can be accessed from a device or computer that is syncing with your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.

There is no icon for Photo Stream and your images are not viewable when logged into iCloud.
iCloud merely "pushes" pictures taken on an iOS device to other devices and computers.

I can NOT see each photo to work on as a "Iconl" as works in CS 3 and on my other computer; also running Win 7 64 bit.; CS 4.
What I see is a generic artificial picture instead of the real photo I put into CS 4. For edits, I must be able to see each photo as I proceed.

Also, Windows 7 maintains an icon cache, which could be corrupted. I recommend clearing this cache by deleting the IconCache.db file, which should cause all thumbnails to be regenerated. There are many guides on the net that show how to do so. This was just the first that came up in a Google search...

Lastly, Windows 7 generates hidden Thumbs.db files, which can cause problems. They're there to provide compatibility with old shell extensions or applications that expect them, though Windows itself doesn't use them if you tell it not to. I've been running Windows 7 for over a year without Thumbs.db files. Here's how to stop them from being generated.
People sometimes report that they cannot manipulate their folders as they want to because Explorer has a thumbs.db file open. Windows 7 apparently generates these files for compatibility with older software that may expect such files to exist in folders with, for example, photos in them.
The good news is that (with Windows 7 Professional and above) you can disable this through the Group Policy Editor:
Click the Start orb
Enter gpedit.msc in the search box and hit Enter.
Expand User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components.
Click on Windows Explorer.
Right-click the entry "Turn off the caching of thumbnails in hidden thumbs.db files" and choose Edit.
Enable the setting.
If you have a version of Windows that does not provide the Group Policy Editor, and cannot do the above, the change can be done through a registry modification:

First, quit and relaunch Mail. If there's no change, back up all data. Rebuild the mailbox.
