I can not set the ringtone on my phone

I can not set the ringtone on my iPhone. All the time marimba sounds. Please help.

I have the same problem. My daughter's model is 4S and her 2 add-on tones are added above Marimba. My downloaded .m4r tones are visible in the IPhone library in the MAC OS X iTunes. On the IPhone 5 the ringtones are saved / synced in the Music box only. What is next step? Thx.

Yes, the file extension is M4R. Does it matter where I save these files on my Macbook? I then opened them in Itunes and played them. I did find the Tones folder in Itunes but the Tones or Ringtones tab does not show up when I select Iphone (within Itunes). When I open the Tones folder in the Library, it is empty. And for this I guess that it is the backing up of my Podcasts - which are free downloads that causes the hang up. These are items that I have played and synced before without issues. I am thinking this way because these are Podcasts that I used to play but sundenly would not play on my iPhone. Each time I try to play anyone of them it generates the message - this movie could not be played.
I am scared of atempting a system restore because I guess I may lose my SMS for the past two months. Please approach the solution from this point of view.

we have HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125-M126 PCLmS network all in one printer, as the installation in every user was successful, and was working fine on installation day, after a day all user facing issue like can not set default pritner , can not print, all user are facing issue at a time,

I see that you are experiencing issues setting the default printer for users and you are unable to print over the network.
I would be happy to help you.
Do you mean individual computers setup with the printer over the network users or one computer with multiple users?
Do you have Admin Rights on the computer to make changes?
What is the full name and product number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. http://www.hp.com/go/tools>Using HP Diagnostic Tools for HP Printers in Windows.
I would suggest you to check if you have a different user account or from an administration account.
I would also suggest you to create a new user account and check if you are able to set the printer as default.

If you are still having issues run the Fixit Tool. Diagnose and fix printer and printing problems automatically.
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

I recently cut my ringtone off while visiting someone at the hospital and now can not get the ringtone to reactivate.

You could try unsyncing it from your phone using iTunes (by unchecking it on your iTunes sync settings on the Tones tab and syncing), they resync it to your phone (by rechecking to sync tones in iTunes and syncing again).

I have the exact same problem as KAR1973, and have tried everything. Relatively new latest Gen ATV, worked fine for couple months, then suddenly today will not set network time, will not activate, and only shows the "computer" and "settings" icons on menu screen. Will not allow me to log into AppleID/Itunes account.
Very frustrating. Tried resetting, restoring (on screen and directly connected to Itunes) mutliple times, rebooted router multiple times, even checked the ntp settings in router (get network time shows as "enabled"), tried it all on wireless and ethernet, and still same problem.
Appears many people have same problem based on google searches. My question is what is Apple doing about this?? Am tired of spending hours trying to figure this out, so am putting it away, and will buy a Roku or another competitor's box instead.
Apple needs to do a better job standing by its product, figure out what the problem is, and put out some helpful guidance, particularly for people who don't have advanced computer or network expertise (inculding myself.)

1. If you are this unhappy with that phone, and the lost earbuds is the only thing stopping you from taking it back, why do not just buy some earbuds. That way you can get rid of that phone. It all depend upon how much you want to get rid of that phone.

If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.

Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email.
