If the Start Firewall button is grey (inactive) check to see if the pad lock is "locked" in the lower left corner of the screen. If so, click it and enter the Administrator password to unlock it. Then you can start the firewall.

You should be able to do it via the Store drop-down menu at the top of iTunes - if you are using iTunes on a PC then try pressing Alt-S and the Store menu should appear.

We had the same issue, and in my opinion it is caused by the parallelisation of sapcar during SUM phase PREP_PRE_CHECK/SCANDIR_EPS0
I did see several parallel SAPCAR jobs running during this phase.
So what happens when one job extracts SIGNATURE.SMF at the same time another job tries to finalize its extraction by setting the permissions for /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in/SIGNATURE.SMF?
It can happen that permissions are being set at the same time another sapcar yust deletes this file to begin extracting.
Since we had 146 SAR archives that needed to be extracted, a retry allways ended up in 4 to 12 conflicts.
What did do the trick was adding
/sapcar/extrcact_parallel = 0
to the file
../SUM/abap/bin/SAPup.par
Just as Christoph Langer suggested.
We had to restart the whole phase, a repeat was not enough to solve the problem. -
Can I set up multiple users for garageband?
I have been asked to take over creating the podcast for my church. Under preferences for Garageband I had "My Info" in place for my personal podcasts I did, so that the information weas already in place when I export to iTunes.
Will I have to update this with the church's information every week, then set it back to my info when I create a new person podcast? Maybe there is a better (more efficient) way to get the information in for both podcasts?To have separate accounts for each client would be by far the simplest solution, but if you do not want to have too many accounts, how about creating an Automator Service to set the info for each of your clients? Then you can set the tags after exporting the podcast to iTunes from the "Services" menu in the iTunes menu.
A sample Automator service might look like this:
Launch Automator.
Select to create a new service.
Set it to receive text in iTunes.
Type iTunes into the search field.
Drag an "Get selected iTunes items" action to the workflow. Set this action to "Get selected tracks"
Drag an "Set Info of iTunes Song" action to the workflow. Enter the details of your client.
Save the service. This will install it in your library.
To use the service, select a podcast in iTunes and press the "Run" button in your service or call it from the "iTunes > Services" menu. Running the service will write the info to your podcast. Define one service for each of your clients.

TS2972 My Apple TV 3 can not set time network, since one week from now, before was working perfectly
My Apple TV 3 just stop working, it can not set the time network I have call for support and done everything as requested and still nothing, can somebody help me with This it has pass a week and nothing yet. I even restored as support toll me too, no timé still can be set. HELP PLEASE
I have the exact same problem as KAR1973, and have tried everything. Relatively new latest Gen ATV, worked fine for couple months, then suddenly today will not set network time, will not activate, and only shows the "computer" and "settings" icons on menu screen. Will not allow me to log into AppleID/Itunes account.
Very frustrating. Tried resetting, restoring (on screen and directly connected to Itunes) mutliple times, rebooted router multiple times, even checked the ntp settings in router (get network time shows as "enabled"), tried it all on wireless and ethernet, and still same problem.
Appears many people have same problem based on google searches. My question is what is Apple doing about this?? Am tired of spending hours trying to figure this out, so am putting it away, and will buy a Roku or another competitor's box instead.
Apple needs to do a better job standing by its product, figure out what the problem is, and put out some helpful guidance, particularly for people who don't have advanced computer or network expertise (inculding myself.) -

Thanks On my phone, these are the options under Menu>Settings & Tools>Sound Settings>Alert Sounds: 1. TXT Message 2. Multimedia Message 3. Voicemail 4. Emergency Tone 5. Missed Call . And under Service Alerts: 1. ERI 2. Minute Beep 3. Call Connect 4. Charge Complete 5. Software Update. So nothing there for the calendar. And options from the calendar that I can see are Add (here you can change the tone for one event or recurring event, but not set a default tone for the event alarm), View (gives you the options of viewing an existing event in more detail, adding a new one, and the same choices from the Options list on the first screen where you are viewing the entire month), and Options (1. lets you view weekly/monthly, 2. Go To Today 3. Go To Date 4. Search 5. Erase All 6. Erase All Old 7. Send. So as far as I can see, there's no way to do it. I have been through all the Settings and Tools menus... and the Events menu. But...I have just discovered that if I delete ALL my alarms and change the Ringtone for the first alarm I set, that ringtone becomes the default ringtone. I will try deleting ALL my events and starting fresh with a new tone and see if that works!

Hello, Does anyone know how I can sync my BBZ10 with my computers Outlook Calendar and Contacts? It was working but since my computer returned from being repaired it doesn't sync and gives me the following message

-First remove the software on your computer by going to the add/remove programs if you're using a PC. If you're using Mac, I'm not sure where you go.
-Then go to BB website and download the correct program for you phone
-Check both your phone and computer have all their updates
With the newest updates I have no trouble syncing my calendar/contacts from my PC to my BB and vice versa. It was just initially when the BB was so new they hadn't updated the programs. Over time the fixed the glitch, this is why I recommend you remove the program you have and start over, it will probably fix itself. -

It appears the problem has to do with most Arch installs not having consolekit anymore...
