I can not set up my files, my programs. I need help I have been at this all day and already sent a question. I can't get this done Please help me.

Last night Chrome and Google 1+ locked down my pc because I disconnected plus one. I could not even get to Norton. This morning I talked to Norton and they moved my system to FF, I have two accounts Donnie p grant and Donnell Grant. I play Mafia Wars and a browser must be compatible with Client Addon. I am a gamer and had always used FF but was having trouble and switched to Chrome. When Norton moved my files back to FF she downloaded them but I can't get everything back to where it should be and I do not understand so much of it. Please help me set my FF account back up. Thank you

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

TS4268 I am on friends account and somehow when set up an iPad our messaging became intertwined. If I message someone else he gets it as well and if he messages himself I get it to? Worked on this all day and we can't figure it out . Any ideas?

I am part of a friends AT&T package for iPhone. 4s and we started having a problem when a message I sent to another friend ended up on his iPad and this other friend messages me and the person whose phone package I am on also got this message. The friend whose phone I am linked to has sent messages to himself that have come to me. Seems like something is mixed up here and it is out of the blue because I have been on his phone plan for years without any mix ups? Any idea as we worked on this all day and can't get it fixed?

The instalation process runs smoothly without any error message and iTunes has been installed in my computer before. The problem started with the update no. 12. Any idea what's going on? Thank you

if itunes will not run, you probably have mangled windows badly
one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device

MediaElement can not set Position when file reaches NaturalDuration

I have created a mediaplayer in which I added a button to go one frame forward.
I'm getting the total duration after the media is opened with
mediaPlayer.NaturalDuration.TimeSpan
In this case the value is {00:02:27.7720000}
Every time I click on the button I do

After this, I get the position with
currentPosition = mediaPlayer.Position;
If I let it play, it plays until total duration is reached. Same goes for fast forward.
But if I go frame by frame, I can't get beyond {00:02:26.7720000}
It seems like I can't set the position once it reaches {00:02:26.7720000}.
Also, when I rewind one frame from total duration, it skips to {00:02:26.7720000}.
I tested with another file and that one also has a one second difference in total duration and position.

If I get the position right after I set it, than I do get the right position.
But if I get the position later it will be set to {00:02:26.7720000}, even if I set the position manually to a value between {00:02:26.7720000} and {00:02:27.7720000}, it will jump back to {00:02:26.7720000}

That was one of the things I found too.
But that doesn't explain why it does get the right position (and plays to the end) when playing normally or in fast forward.
The only difference is that I get the current position in a DispatchTimer when playing normal or in fast forward.

How can I set a "Read Receipt" so that I know my emails have been opened?

I have Mail 2.1 and have gone through all the menus and cannot figure out how or what I need to do to get a read receipt email to find out if the messages I have sent to certain recipients have been opened. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks so much!

The Mail.app does not include this feature nor does it provide a read receipt without your knowledge when requested by the sender of a message. There is a Terminal command you can enter to request a read receipt for every sent message but not by individual message.
Keep in mind, if the recipient's email client supports providing a read receipt when requested by the sender of a message, the recipient also has the ability to deny providing a read receipt for messages read if requested by the sender.
I use Windows Outlook at work and I don't request a read receipt for sent messages nor do I provide it when requested by the sender of a message.

If you set up a Rescue email address:
Go into Manage Your AppleID, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, select Password and Security, and click the first option (see below), and you will be able to proceed from there..... (I HOPE the first button is showing for you!)
Reset your password
You can change or reset the password for your Apple ID account by providing some information.
Select your authentication method.
Email authentication: To access your information, we will send an email to the rescue email address on file for you.
Answer security questions: To access your information, you will need to answer the security question(s) provided when you originally created your Apple ID.
If you did not set up a Rescue email address:
1. Go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
   Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
   Next choose 'Forgotten Security Questions' and fill in that you'd like your security
   questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)
2. Once your questions have been reset, and you set up new ones, also set up a RESCUE EMAIL ADDRESS, so if you forget them again, you won't have to go through all of this.....
