You're saying this is happening on a Mac?? Find My iPhone is a feature of iOS devices, not Macs. If you are trying to change the iCloud ID on an iOS device, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Hi Peter, unfortunately you have to delete the account. If you don't remember the password anymore, then please go to https://iforgot.apple.com/ to reset the password.

I have had to create a new Apple ID due to my old email being locked/out of use. I can not access my old email/Apple Id to change icloud and imessage to my new Apple ID. Any ideas?

I have had to create a new Apple ID after having my previous email locked and put out of use. I have managed to change my purchasing for music and apps to my new Apple ID but for iCloud and iMessage I can not access my old email/Apple ID to change this.
Any ideas guys. Sorry if this has been posted previous.

If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You need to force quit Safari, but hitting Command-option-esc, and force quit Safari.

If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.

the bug seems to be in the handshake between the phone and icloud - i cloud needs to know the phone is off the cloud, but you can't connect to icloud from the phone to tell it, because there is a bug. it appears some people have been able to get decent tech support from apple - I have not.
