I can not sync my contacts to my iPhone 3G

Hi, I have a mac book pro and I have about 200 contacts in the address book, but when I try to sync them to my iphone only 130 of them transfers. I tried to restore the iphone, but still is not working. Does anybody know what should I do?

Same problem for me: some contacts that are in my address book on my Mac just don't get sync'ed onto my iPhone. Latest firmware 2.0.2 (5C1) on the iPhone (just upgraded today) and Mac. I've got ~750 contacts in Address Book, but really no way to tell which ones don't make it onto the iPhone except when I go to look one up and find it's not there (there's no count of Contacts on the iPhone so can't tell how many are missing). I've tried updating a particular Addr Book record and resyncing, but it still doesn't get transferred onto the iPhone. Very frustrating.

  • Hi I can not get my contacts on my iPhone to see

    Hi
1 . I can not get my contacts on my iPhone to see
2 . When I have my contacts on my iPhone I can change the iCloud does not apply

I am a little bit confused, because I really don't understand your problem:
    1. Did you lose your password and could not access iCloud? The verification failes, if you are not fast enough or if you are having trouble with your mobile network/ wifi connection.
    or
    2. Are you missing the contacts on your Phone? If yes, then please tell me where are you storing your contacts now and/or where you stored your contacts before (a web service or just your computer).

How can I sync my contacts from my iPhone 5 to my iPad 2?

Do you use iCloud? On both devices - Go to Settings>iCloud and turn on Contacts, calendars, reminders, and whatever you want to sync in those settings.
If you haven't set up iCloud yet....
Apple - iCloud - Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices.

    Hello Megdondon,
This is actually a feature that is configured directly on the iPhone itself, rather than via iTunes. The following article details the process of setting your Google account up on your iPhone.

  • HT201269 How can i sync my contacts from the iPhone to my mac pro?

    Hi
I am trying to sync my contacts on my IPhone to the mac pro but it seems not work.
Any one faced this issue and solved, Please advice.
    Regards

If you want your contacts to remain in sync across iOS devices, then you can use any Exchange-type of account.  For example, once you have a "clean" set of contacts with no duplicates, you could upload that into iCloud so that any change you make from your iPad would be reflected on your iPhone.  You don't have to use iCloud for e-mail since your devices can pull a contact from iCloud for use with GMail or Yahoo.
But you can also set GMail up as an Exchange account if you don't want to use iCloud.  The GMail account type in iOS is not Exchange, but you can set it up that way:

The benefit of doing this is (a) your Google contacts remain in sync across all your devices, and (b) your GMail will then support Push notification.  Just one caveat, when you do this then the default behavior when you delete an e-mail is such that it is archived to your "All Mail" folder in GMail.  The only way to change this behavior is to use your device's Safari to navigate to m.google.com/sync and change the setting on Google's server for each of your devices.  This is a one-time thing, but important if you want trashed e-mails to really go to Trash.
As far as Contact Management Software options to clean things up, Google search is the only recommendation I have

  • I can not sync my contacts to icloud

I really hope someone can help me.
I am trying to put my contacts from my iphone5 to my new ipad.  I have managed to sync everything else.  Other than this.  I have signed in and out of icloud and also reset the process of sycing
If i go through my itunes on pc then it tells me that I am syncing through the air and that I can turn this off through my divice but i can not see this option through my phone.  all calanders have been transfered to each device so why should this be happening.
I really hope someone can help because the nearest store is always too busy and is 40 + miles away

First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

  • I can't sync my contacts from my iPhone 5 to my computer

Hi, I've just realised that since i've had the iPhone 5, it hasn't been syncing my contacts onto my computer. I thought it was because I didn't have enough backup storage on iCloud so i deleted my backup (which was stupid because now it says I've never backed up and I can't seem to backup because I don't have enough storage).
How do I put my contacts onto my computer? Help!
    Thanks

If both your computer and iphone are connected to an icloud account and Contacts are turned on (Settings for iOS and System Preferences for macs), then icloud should be storing the data.  To verify this, using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com with the same account ID and look at the Contacts page.
You don't have to make a backup to get the syncing to work.  A backup on icloud is not used to sync Contacts between devices.  It's just a backup that can be used to restore a deleted iOS device.

  • How can I sync my contacts from my iphone to my SIM??

I have iPhone 3GS and it got broken, so I wanted to have it repaired, but I can't, because I have all my contacts in my iPhone and I can't find a way to put it on my SIM. Can somebody help me ?

    You cannot.
The iphone does not store to SIM at all.
The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer.  You should have been syncing your contacts to your computer from the very beginning.
Your contacts should be in whatever program, on your computer, you have chosen to sync.

  • Can not sync new purchased apps to iPhone

    Dear Friends
For about a month now any new purchases in iTunes on my computer  will not sync to my iPhone. In the My Phone > iPhone >Apps window I move the new apps onto the iPhone screens.  Then press Apply to sync.  It starts to sync and then on the step (3 I think) - determined tracks to sync, the apps disappear from the iPhone window  and are not added to the iPhone.  I have restored, resetted, restarted, downloaded and reinstalled iTunes etc...  several times and still  I get the same behaviour.  Please does anyone know how I can fix this.
    Thanks in advance
    Cath
    iTunes 10.6.3
    iPhone 4.2.1

Check Settings>General>Restrictions on your phone to be sure that Installing Apps is set to On.  Also, in iTunes on your computer be sure on the Apps tab of your sync settings that you have checked each of the apps that you want to sync to your phone, and that your computer is authorized for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase them in iTunes>Store>Authorize this computer.

  • I can not sync my photos to my iPhone

im having trouble syncing my photos to my iphone with iphotos

Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
    - Did it ever work properly?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.
Posts that consist of "iPhoto doesn't work. Help" or "iPhoto won't print" or "Suddenly I have no photos!!!!!!!!!!" mean that any helper is simply guessing. With information, s/he may be able to get your issue resolved sooner.

  • How can I sync my contacts from the iPhone to google contacts while checking for duplicates?

I have been using Outlook to sync contacts and it works well.  Now I would like to get rid of Outlook and put the contacts that I have into my gmail and Yahoo contact accounts and keep all 3 in sync.  When I do it the first time, I'd like to be able to check for duplicates.  Is there a way to do this?
