I can not synchronize my new ipad air with iTunes.

Error message states a time out. I have loaded the complete backup file of my old ipad on the new ipad air.
Though I connected the ipad air with my apple computer wih a cable, I received the error message again and again.

Hi everyone-
I work at an Apple Reseller and I am trying to trouble shoot an issue for one of my customers. He brought in an iPad 3 with information on it that he backed up to iTunes and wants to put it on his new iPad air. The issue is that the PC would not recognize the new iPad Air, but will recognize the older device. He is running Windows 7 on a PC and is using the newest version of iTunes. Does anyone know if there are any special drivers he needs to have? Or why iTunes won't recognize the new iPad air? Has anyone else had this issue? Please respond. Thank you!!

I can't see the Home Pages view when syncing my IPad Air with iTunes

I have transferred about 80 apps from my previous ipad2 by syncing the new iPad Air in iTunes (using the USB connection). The Home Screens view in the Apps tab of iTunes does not show the individual pages, so I cannot regroup my Apps into logical groups.
There is a momentary flash on the screen showing what looks like a Home page, then it vanishes to show a blank view.
Both the iPad Air (64GB, wifi & cellular) and my copy of iTunes are up-to-date.

Interestingly this seems to have sorted itself.
When I was trying it yesterday, it was my first syncing of the new iPad Air, and the Home Pages were not visible in iTunes.
Today I reconnected and carried out an automated backup, then when I selected the Apps tab - there were all the Home Pages.
Not sure why this should happen, but - problem solved!

I think there's a big ol' discussion in the Mavericks forum about this - some folks have suggested setting up your own CalDAV server so you can continue syncing without having to route things through iCloud.
It may be simpler to go back to Mountain Lion or Lion (assuming you were on either of those). My syncing computer is on Lion and can't go higher so I didn't realize until recently that USB syncing over contacts & calendars was no longer available!

I just bought a new iPad Air and discovered that I can't sync to my iMac (Leopard).
I was going to upgrade to Snow Leopard but could not as I don't have enough space (2 GB).
Don't know what to do as I would like to transfer most info from my current iPad 2 to iPad Air.

I was told that if I sync my current iPad 2 to another computer,it will wipe out all my data. Is this true?

Can't activate my new iPad air

Hi! I really need some help. I got my new Ipad air today and was so excited..but it will not activate. I can't redial the password to my wifi, and I can't go back to activate with itunes.. What to do? any ideas?

Try a reset first: Press and hold both Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
If the reset doesn't fix it, try a restore:

I have a 5s with an apple account and wife has a iPad air with its own cell number. Does the iPad need it's own apple account to use it's own phone number so her FaceTime calls are not sent to my phone. Transferring PDF's from Ipad 1 to new Ipad air using itunes on a pc

I have several pdf documents on my old ipad 1 and want to transfer them to my new ipad air. When I connect my old ipad 1 to itunes ( on a pc ) and click on the books tab under my ipad 1 and then sync books and when I go to the Library there is no place that I can find that shows my pdf documents. Where are these documents stored on my pc itunes and how do I get them on my new ipad air? I have seen similar questions like this but they all are about using a Mac as the main computer and I can not find anything regarding using itunes on a pc to do this transfer. Anyone have a suggestion??
