i have an external hard disk but whenever i tried to transfer any file or data from macbook to this ext.disk its failed before that i used to have another hard drive with same problem ,then i thought may be this hard drive is not support mac then i bought a new one which supports mac but still i have same problem what should i do ?
Ok.
Go into Disk Utility, and make sure you select your external hard drive.
There should be 4 tabs, one being erase. I have taken a screenshot to show you what it should be set to (obviously name it what you like), and set the format to Mac OSX Extended (Journaled) as per the example below & after double checking your in the right drive, you can hit erase. And you're done! *hopefully*

Which operating system are you running on?
Try starting the organizer while holding down the shift key. Hopefully, it should load the Catalog Manager.
Select your current catalog and click on the Repair button. Once it has finished, click on the Open button to see if the catalog opens.

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money.. -

I'm on the choose a user screen and when I enter the password the screen goes white then returns to choosing a user. The system is rebooting differently when I tried turning off then back on, the pinwheel screen has a progress bar and it takes minutes instead of seconds.

If the issue seems like it just doesn't want to accept the password you'll need to boot to the install disc/recovery partition of the hardrive by holding the 'option' key while booting up. There should be a utility in there to reset your password. -

The first thing you need to do is (in the left side of iTunes, under devices) right click on your phone, and do a manual back up. As long as that works, this should work for you. After you back it up, go to your phone in iTunes, and do a "Restore". Click the option to restore and update. When it is done with the update, it will ask you if you want to set your phone up as a new phone, or restore from the last back up. Restore it, and after another restart, and a sync, you will have your updated phone without loosing your information.

In my new iPad2 I have no problem with my incoming mail because Ipad2 can read Windows attachements like "word or excell" . The problem I confront is if I want to send a message with an attachement from itunes apps like "pages or numbers" , Will my contacts (using most of them Windows based docs.) be able to open and read them? As I can not use any non Apple docs for a new doc.,What can I do?Thanks in advance
Have you taken a look at iWork.com? It is a convenient place for sharing documents and the nice thing is the user you share the document with can download it as a word file. Formatting issues are a possibility with with text only docs that isn't so much an issue. Also consider QuickOffice or Docs2Go which are both Office compatible apps.

Hi everyone. I both a Mac Pro 15" in March 2009. Five month ago I was forced to buy by one new hard drive and extent the memory, because I had to make the upgrade (and pay) to install the new Lion operation system. Four days ago the Mother-board fails. To change it will cost a fortune. What should I do or expect from Apple to solve this problem? I am very disappointed because my trust on Apple was destroyed.
I am not sure why you are upset with Apple. Electronics equipment does fail. If the product is out of warranty or you do not have AppleCare there's not much you can do with Apple. Apple will charge you for the repair. Suggest you look for a third party repair store since they are usually less expensive than Apple. Alternatively you can buy one for about $850US and install it yourself. Sorry, but there aren't many choices in this situation.

My iPhone 4S which is 1 year and 10 months old has developed yellow spot on left side of screen. Otherwise iPhone works perfectly but that yellow spot continuously annoys me. What should I do as my iPhone is out of warranty now??? The yellow spot becomes prominent on playing games... Will it spread further and get even worse or it is harmless???
