unless that message is erroneous, you'll need to upgrade your os to use whatever you dl'd.
with a cc subscription, you can use cs6, cc and cc 2014.

I purchased the program that allows you to convert to Word. Every time I try to use it, it tells me that my trial has expired. (I never had a trial.) It wants me to purchase it again. I don't know how to contact Adobe. Does anyone have an idea to help me?

Paulietang do you know what files were deleted? Which Adobe software or service gives you the error? Have you tried removing and reinstalling the application?

There is a solution (I'm running Snow Leopard on a Core2Duo iMac, but this problem arose when I was running Leopard on a G4 PowerBook too).
Problem:
You download the OS X driver for the scanner from Canon's site. I already had the CanoScan Toolbox (4.1) stored on an external drive.
You unzip the driver and run the VISE installer. After a search it finds your copy of Photoshop (and maybe even the CanoScan Toolbox), and you click to install on that/those location(s).
You get a couple of error messages, which you click through.
You restart your computer and try to run the scanner but you get an error that the driver is wrong or missing and the process will abort.
Solution:
BEFORE you restart, and with the installer package still open -
1. Copy the Into_CFMSupport_Login & Into_CMPrefs folders to
Applications : Canon Utilities
Applications : Canoscan Toolbox
and remove the prefix Into_ from each folder
2. Check whether the installer placed N067U_Library.shlb into the top level (not User level)
Library : CFMSupport
and if it didn't, move it there yourself
THEN restart, and try again. It worked for me (via Photoshop), but whether it will work for everyone, I don't know.

I can not remove Adobe reader form my computer. In my Add or Remove Programs file it says....

that I can not remove the program. My computer got stuck on it and I had to do the end program option because it would not close out. I know that Adobe has been on my computer ever since I can remember. I honestly don't know what it is (Adobe Reader) and am very frustrated because I don't know weather getting rid of it (Adobe Reader) will cause problems on this computer or not. Your best bet is to check the version of QuarkXPress you have. Since Lion does not include Rosetta my guess is this may be why it is not working. Check out this site http://roaringapps.com/apps:table. This site has a list of apps that work and don't work under Mac OS X Lion.
If you are working in a production environment freelance or stuido that uses design apps like QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop you should always wait to upgrade your OS. We have a 3 to 6 month policy for upgrading computers and software.

Software applications are usually installed in the Applications folder on the Macintosh HD and are accessible to all users.
I would advise you to check the Applications folder and see if your software is in there.
Next step would be to Control Click or Right Click on the application and choose "Get Info" and make sure the permissions are set to "Read & Write" for all users. The article below provides more details:

What Nexus 7 version do you have as there was a 2012 and a 2013 model. A easy way to tell if it is a 2013 is it has a camera on each '''back''' and front while 2012 only has one on front.
If it is the 2012 then it has a Nvidia Tegra 3 so the old Flash 11.1 Plugin is disabled.
