after I upgrade my software to IOS 6, the maps on my iphone4s doesnt work anymore
I live in United Arab Emirates , what can I do ?!

THE use of the apple support is a mess also.

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...

As the question described in the topic, I now want to reinstall this app or delete it from the first page, but I can not a way to do that. Could anybody please tell me how to do it-delete the apps from the first page. When I long tap the apps icon in the first page there is no delete signs appear on the left upper corner but they do from the second page.

My problem is not about reset. I can not use maps app, everytime when I tap the maps, the machine will switch itself off, which means the white apple appears on the screen. Also, I can not search any location by google map. My hypothesis is to delete the maps app then install it again. However, I can not find a way to delete it, as you mentioned it was firmware I could not delete it at all. But I still wonder if anyone here can give constructive suggestions to fix the maps issue.

I run a PA company (Big sound systems) and at events i play music through the system using my ipad or iphone. this has never been a problem until recently. since i updated my OS on my iphone4 and ipad2 i open itunes like normal, select a song and it tells me i can not play the song because it is on my cloud and i am not connected to the internet. as far as i know i never took my music off my phone or ipad and when i plug them in it even tells me space is being taken up on my phone from all the audio stored on it, yet i can not play a single track without connecting to the internet through wifi.
if i had internet everywhere there wouldn't be a problem but thats just not possible. some of the event i do are in the middle of no where and i cant be without my music. Also i can not use my phone like a personal music player like anyone else would just walking around with earphones because as soon as i go out of wifi range i can not play anything from itunes.
why did it have to change in the first place,

Can not use imessage/facetime on new iPhone 5 and can not get iPhone 4s and 5 to remember any wireless networks.

Two weeks ago I got an iPhone 4s and an iPhone 5 from a local carrier in central and eastern Kentucky called Appalachian Wireless. We had our numbers ported with AT&T. My iPhone 4s can use imessage/facetime but my wife's iPhone 5 can not. It just says waiting for activation and after several hours it will then say activation unsuccessful please turn imessage/facetime off and back on to activate. When we got the iPhones my carrier said it could take 30 days to activate due to our numbers being ported. My 4s took less than 3 hours to activate imessage/facetime but my wife's 5 still hasn't activated. A few days ago we went back to our carrier to get a problem fixed with our regular text messaging and we informed of our problem with imessage/facetime and they told us the most it has taken to activate was 2 days. I know I can use an apple id/e-mail to use imessage/facetime but I want her number to show up. Also neither iPhone will remember our wireless network. Every time we leave our house and come back we have to go to settings and choose our network. Is there a way I can fix these problems and have her imessage/facetime activated and use her phone number and have our iPhones remember our wireless network?

I am using Google Earth Pro to make tours, I'm using the build in Movie Maker function to export the tours as video clips. Now my question is if there's anyway to do the same in Maps.? Perhaps I'm not the only one looking for a feature like this?

Tengo un iPhone 6 16Gb Mod. MG3C2CL/A, el cual lo actualicé a iOS 8.1.2. Al abrir la app de "MAPAS" (de Apple) no se visualizan los mapas en modo "Estándar" ni en los otros dos modos (Híbrido y Satélite). El GPS sí funciona y sí coloca el punto azul de ubicación, pero no se visualizan los mapas.
Lo mismo sucede con la app "FIND MY PHONE". Al parecer el problema se presenta con cualquier aplicación que utilice los mapas de Apple.
Tengo iPad, Mini iPad, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, y nunca he tenido este problema. He restablecido el iPhone y lo dejé toda la noche cargando los mapas, pero aún sigo con el problema.

Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*

If you want to mirror the phone screen to a TV you need the HDMI adapter (assuming your TV has HDMI input) from your iPhone to an HDMI cable.
An even better solution is to get an AppleTV and then you can mirror wirelessly to your TV from your iPhone. That works great!

I can not activate icloud because when I put my e-mail address it answers that somebody is already using my address. I have my old e-mails, but I can not receive any e-mail or send them.
I have contacted Apple Technical Support in Spain and I was sent an e-mail saying that I have to call a phone number and when I call it is always an answering machine who answers that says that I have to pay 50€ for a consultation or wait for 10 minutes. When I have made the consultation it was never mentioned that I have to pay 50€ for a phone consultation. If I don't want to wait I have to pay for the Apple Tecnical Support which cost 250 €, this was not mentioned in the technical support page.
Can somebody let me know how can I contact Apple in another way in order to talk with a human being or chat directly? I was very happy just using my mobileme e-mails, I didn't need any clouds and I was force by Apple to registered if I want to continue using my mobileme e-mail address.

Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account
Anyone else ran into this before?
I've tried accessing the mail through a mail application using the correct server information, and trying both the old 6 character password and the one I had to change it too after they updated the security guidelines - neither work.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I can see more services down the line not working without the address being verified!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). As note already on the iBA forum [ AppleID for ibooks publishing ], you need two IDs. You can't use your developer ID.
If you already signed up for books with that ID, you need to talk to Apple to straighten things out.
