I think this problem may be caused by Yahoo's changes making it incompatible with the klatest version of FireFox.
This is suddenly affecting many many people who use Firefox and are members of Yahoo Groups. All these people say they themselves changed nothing and have not been locked out before when using Firefox. But suddenly, within the last week, they are.
What did Mozilla do or what did Yahoo do to cause this problem? I can say that I was not blocking cookies and after trying a number of things to fix it, I went to Yahoo's home page and navigated to my group from here.
This problem is not anything a user did. Either Firefox is at fault or Yahoo is. I want to know which company is at fault and when they are going to fix it.

Basic troubleshooting steps.
Quit the videos app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or - Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Or try this - Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.
Or - Check Settings>General>Restrictions and see if you have content restricted that is preventing you from watching the movies.

This can be worked around by creating a version of the video that is compatible with your iPod.
Select a video and choose File > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV Version.

Hello every one,
I think I already read all the posts about not been able to watch rich content videos or any video in the internet, but I have not been able to find anything to help me with the problem. I tried almost everything also with the same result. Too long to describe all the different things that I had tried.
If any body have a suggestion I'm willing to try anything, it will be greatly appreciated.

Any time I try to watch a video in "my computer" I can not, I just get a black or white window with nothing playing, no error messages, no requests for anything. The video would not play.
Some exceptions : playing videos in face book, or you tube, I figure that is because I'm connected to the sites playing the videos, the videos are not playing directly in my computer. Am I wrong?
Another example: I get an e-mail with an attachment or link to a video, I can not see anything but a black box.

Hi, just updated upgraded iOS 7.1.1. I can no longer watch my home videos. I can see the file of videos, but when I hit play, the video crashes and returns to the main page with the apps. I've tried the "Reset All Settings" option. Will I have to retore this iPad? Please help. Thanks.

Never mind. I updated my software update. Rebooted the computer with my ipad in, and now it all works fine.

Yes, that's the way it works. Multi-tasking doesn't extend to separate windows, there is no Desktop for them to be displayed on, no file handling system to keep track of them, etc., etc.
TED has their own app, by the way .... no need to download via iTunes. Still just one thing at a time, so just sayin ....

I recently adquired my Iphone and wanted to sync all my information with my Ipad, Iphone & Mack Book Pro, but I had an older vertion in my Mack Book Pro wich I adquired on 2011, in order to sync with I clowd I needed to upgrade to Lion, I did that and now I cant use my track pad and I can not watch videos in any page like Youtube etc.

Use a wired mouse and hold commnad r keys and reboot, reinstall Lion again

i can not watch videos while at home and connected to wi-fi. when i touch the video i want to watch a screen comes up with a play symbol with a line through it. i can disconnect from the wi-fi and go to 3g and the video will play. this is happening when i go to safari and try to watch a online video.

Can not open videos on iPad after iOS 8.0.2 update

I've updated my iPad's software to iOS 8.0.2 from iOS 8 and suddenly I can not watch any video from Youtube or any website. This is a big issue for me and couldn't find any solution. When I open the Youtube app, videos do not load and an error occurs. Then I tried to watch something on a website and realized that the problem is not only for Youtube but any kind of web based platforms. By the way, this not because of wifi connection. It is connected with a strong signal. Everything works fine except watching something.
Can I convert my software to previous version through iTunes or is there any other way to fix this? I hope the only way to get rid of this problem is not waiting for the next software version to be released.

How can I delete the list of watched videos on my iPad?

I have been watching videos on my ipad through the iTunes "home sharing" feature. It seems to work fine.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to delete the list (on the iPad) of videos that have been watched. Not only have I watched them but I have also deleted them from my iTunes movies list. I have tried syncing, signing out and back in to the iTunes store, turning off home sharing and then turning it back on again (which requires signing back in), all the while quitting out of the videos app and /or restarting the iPad before and after each of these steps.
The videos are shown as greyed-out icon/thumbnails in the iPad videos app. I am able to add new videos to iTunes, see them as not-greyed-out icons in the iPad app, and watch them. I just can't delete the shown list of the watched videos list on the iPad, which in the case of TV shows collect quite quickly and require lots of scrolling to get to the unwatched video icons.

Yes, so...
I have also closed iTunes, reset network settings on the iPad, then shut down and restarted the iPad. Still, I end up with greyed out rectangular icons for all the movies I've ever streamed from my Mac Mini to my ipad via my home wireless router.
Again, I have watched all the way to the end of the movie, selcted the movie in iTunes and chosen "mark as watched", and then deleted it in ITunes.
Any ideas?
