I can not watch YouTube on safari. It came out black screen , but it had sound.

Does it work on the YouTube app ? Other people have been posting the same issue with YouTube over the past few days - see if the following help.
Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies And Data (Clear Cache on iOS 4) and also Clear History
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have purchased Quicktime Pro and when I use the rotate button under Show Video Properties-Visual Settings, the viewing screen rotates from portrait to landscape but the video itself does not rotate. Any suggestions as I have a lot of unusable video which I want to pull into my video editor.
BTW, my Studio 15 which is a fairly high-end software has successfully rotated previous videos shot with my wifes I-Phone 4 but on these video clips, the rotation works but then does not play. I wonder if it was some setting or problem with my wife's Iphone?

It's not quite that. It is saying it's an MOV file which, although it is read by iTunes on the Mac, cannot be played by the iPhone. It's slightly confusing as I downloaded it off the iTunes store. Do you think this can be remedied? Or refunded?

I logged in one of our machine Domaincontroller (10.102.28.53) in office network I can ping IP: 10.1.2.52 (VLAN2-DMZ2) in datacentre.
I can not ping 192.168.4.230 (vlan4 dmz3) in datacentre from this machine 10.102.28.53

make sure that the the firmware version of your router is the updated one.It should be firmware version:1.50.9.you can go to www.linksys.com/download and look for wrt54gs v6-->click downloads for this product-->click firmware-click download firmware and save it on your desktop...you can also go to linksys.com/kb and search for upgrade firmware and it will give you the steps on how to upgrade the firmware of your router.

Check that the HDMI cable is correctly seated at both ends.
Try disconnecting the cable and connecting it again.
Try another HDMI cable.
Make sure your TV supports 720p (Apple TV 2)
Try the Apple TV with another TV

Opening a video from Youtube in firefox does not work. It works fine in Internet Explorer.

You have the Flash plugin installed according to your More system details list, so [[Flash]] should be working.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

When I go to youtube.com and try to play a video the screen remains black. Neither video nor sound. It used to be ok until sometime ago. I don't know what caused it to stop functioning. On my other computer it is ok.

Two things to try:
update the plugin to 10.1.85.3 as well
disable hardware acceleration (Flash Player Settings)

I turned on Air Play mirroring tonight while streaming a video. The video came through fine but no audio. Any ideas on a fix?

I was watching a video full screen on my macbook but when I turned on air play mirroring to my Apple TV, the audio went dead on the mac and there was no audio on the tv. Any ideas why? Turn off mirroring and the audio was fine on the Mac.

Well an alternative to using the AirPlay feature in the Youtube app, is to use the Youtube app in the Apple TV. Thats all I have to say! All built-in apps on the Apple TV have amazing playback!

The video starts out fine, but if I click on the expand icon in the lower right corner of the screen the audio won't keep up.
Refreshing the page don't help at all. In fact, nothing seems to help once it starts.
I did not have this problem at all using Mavericks. The problem started after installing Yosemite.
Any way to fix it?

New Macbook pro suddently can not watch any online video or movie

I just bought a new 13" Macbook pro 4 days ago, the first day everything work well (include watching online movie or video), yesterday, I suddenly found I can not watch online movie or video anymore, the symptom is: I can open any website with online video, but the video area is BLACK, i tried many different website, they are all the same, can not watch any online video.
then I call apple phone support, i was told press Commandoption+PR, after that, it works again. but today the same problem happened again!!! I know I can still use the same way to fix the problem. but I do really want to know, what's the reason? is my NEW Mac has problem? is the problem big or not? should i return or exchange it? I hope someone could help me and answer my questions.
Anyway, right now i am very disappointed and frustrate, don't know what to do, I am a student, buy a mac is not a little money for me!

It doesn't have to be that complicated, Verizon iPhones come unlocked, just tell VZ you're going on Holiday/Traveling and suspend the service, no need to pay for service if you're not going to be using it. Pick up local SIM cards in the countries of your choosing, pop them in, re-activate iMessage and you're set!
I recommend getting a SIM card from the Three network in England, they have great EU roaming rates and free like-home roaming in Italy.
Set your phone's region to match the country you're in, it'll save from some headaches when calling local/international numbers.
To answer your questions,
1. If you choose not to have a local SIM card, it is good to keep your phone in Airplane mode to save battery.
2. Make sure the two iPhones have different names to reduce sync/restore issues.
3. If husband has an iPhone also, you can chat with iMessage/Facetime, just give him heads up about the new number you'll have. Otherwise, use Whatsapp if he's got an Android. You can activate Whatsapp with your American number or the international number if you choose to get a SIM in Europe.
Also, Get the MagicJack app and/or Google Hangouts, both of those apps provide you with free calling to the USA and Canada using any internet connection. Google Voice is another good way to SMS across the seas.
