I can only use trail versions of the apps with creative cloud (full subscription)

I'm really disappointed. I bought the Student and Teacher edition of Creative Cloud in order to use all the amazing apps of Adobe. But, it's not working!
I can login to my account and install the apps. However, when I start an app as Photoshop it asks me to register the product or it runs as a trail version. I uninstalled every Adobe item afterwards, but, nothing has changed.
I don't want to pay for a service that's not working! So please me help me to fix it.

Cloud apps are only available via subscription via a Cloud plan.
If you need 3 or more apps then a Cloud Complete membership is the way to go.

No warning when downloading OS X 10.9.1 re the operating system disabling the iphoto programme! Result I now cannot access the photo's has any one else had this and found a solution. eg how to upgrade i photo?
Seem remiss of apple not to warn/ offer a solutio.
I have a time vault from Mac but reluctant to open in case I destroy records!

Did you upgrade to a new MacOS X version? Then you need to update iPhoto as well.
Only iPhoto 9.6 is compatible with MacOS X 10.10 Yosemite. Update from the Mac App Store.
Backup your iPhoto library, if you do not have a current backup.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Check the "Updates" tab of the App Store for an iPhoto update and run the update.
When you laugh iPhoto after the update, it will warn you, that the library needs upgrading, That may take a while.
Just in case that you see a warning, that the update is not possible because of an error message: "This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
Uninstall iPhoto by deleting it from the Applications folder, but do not empty the Trash, so you can put iPhoto back, if need be.
Launch the App Store, click the "Store" menu, and sign in with your current AppleID.
Open the main page "Featured" of the App Store and search for iPhoto.
If iPhoto is listed as "Free", click the "Free" button to buy it with your current AppleID.

I use mountain lion 10.8.1
I try start disk utility it only says: "You can't use this version of the application Disk Utility with this version of Mac OSX. You have Disk Utility 12.1"To do a Reinstall of the OS boot to the Recovery HD, Command+r key at startup, then select Reinstall Mac OS X. the files will be downloaded from the internet and then the instal will begin.
With Mt Lion it is also available from the Mac App store in your Purchases area. You may be able to download it and then nmanually starting the install while booted to Mt Lion.
But I'd normally use the Recovery HD as that takes the installed OS out of the picture. -
When I try to install Lion it tell's me "You can't use this version of the application install mac os x Lion with this version of Mac os X" even though I have the latest update 10.5.8 of Mac os X?

So to make a disk would require you to purchase Snow Leopard and upgrade to 10.6.8 so you can use the App Store, unless you have access to another computer to download it from with your Apple ID. Remember it is about a 3.4GB download.

I have just updated to OS X 10.9 and now find that I can't open Aperture to access photos etc, message reads : You can't use this version of the application "Aperture" with this version of OS X. I downloaded the OS X version 10.9 and my Iphoto version 9.2.3 will not open. I get a message that I can't use this version of the application I photo with this version of OS X. How do I upgrade to a i photo that will run on 10.9. Do I purchase a new program or can I do just an download?
Check the "Purchases" page in the Mac App Store and see if there is a more recent version there already waiting for you.

I have just bought a 2011 iMac (2.5 ghz, 4gb) and logic express 9, and when i installed logic and tried to run it i had a message saying 'you can't use this version of the application logic express with this version of Mac OS X. How do i sort this out!? It is very frustrating as the main reason i have bought a mac is to use logic! Any help would be great as i am a complete novice when it comes to Macs!

I had the same problem as you. I used Software Update to update Logic Express to the latest version, and then it ran without any problems. -
Hi ...just upgraded my Macbook pro to Mac OSX snow leopard and when I tried to look at my mail, I got this message "You can't use this version of the application mail with this version of MAC OS X". What do I do now to look at my mail and receive new mail?
After updating make sure you repair permissions and restart your computer.

I just ran my updates for my MacBook Pro and now my iphoto won't open. I get a pop up that say's You can't use this version of the applicaton IPhoto with this version of os x. You have iphoto 9.2.3.

Note 1: every day more users are reporting problems with iPhoto 8.1.2 so I've included it in the non compatible category.
Note 2: If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 application on the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.5.1.

When will Apple ever make it convenient for the customer, I just bought an iPad Air and I'm very upset that I can only use iMessage, iPads are the biggest mistake to buy if you like texting family and friends. You can't use this version of the application "logic pro" with this version of os x
After installing all of Logic Studio (i.e. install dvd, audio content 1-3, jam packs 1-3), my laptop concludes that everything is installed successfully, however, when going to open to Logic, error icon appears and says:
'you can't use this version of the application "logic pro" with this version of os x'Thank you! I found that just after I entered the question. I reinstalled everything two times, updated software, but was still having issues. But, I specifically updated the 9.1.8 (which was supposedly included in my standard software update). Guess I needed to give it some extra attention and affection.
P.S. - Why do I feel like the more I upgrade versions of OS X, the worse off I am getting or am? Isn't it supposed to be opposite...isn't it supposed to make things better...come on, mac...where you at? mt. lion or mavericks. I'm downloading Snow Leopard to make some programs run. (um, yeah). -

I just installed 10.6 and all seemed well until I tried to load Mail. I got this response
"You can't use this version of the application Mail with this version of Mac You have Mail 3.5".
I successfully reinstalled 10.6 and I also reloaded the apps that were contained in another folder on the CD. I get the same message every time I try to load the Mail program. I deleted the "mail plist" file and that did not work. So I recovered my old one from Time Machine. Still dead!

Why would you "reload" any apps? They should have been installed when you installed 10.6. Where exactly did you reload them from?

...which undoubtedly still contained the old copy of Mail from your last Leopard backup, and not the current version of Mail that should have been installed with 10.6.
What you need to do is reinstall the appropriate version of Mail from your Snow Leopard install disk. You can install one specific program from the install disk using [Pacifist|http://www.charlessoft.com> - though, check carefully to make sure it's been cleared for use with the Snow Leopard install disk!
Whether that will fix your problem or not, I don't know, as I don't know what exactly you've done. It sounds like you've done a lot of things you should not have done, mixing components of your older system into your newer system. It is entirely possible you will need to reinstall the entire system. -
How do you solve error "You can't use this version of the application Install Mac OS X.app with this version of Mac OS X" when trying to go back to leopard from lion?
Local Mac shop said to hold down "c" after inserting disk to get "disk utility" to come up in order to wipe hard drive. I can't seem to get it to do this.This W7 was purchased for using Fusion, as others did - per reviews from amazon. The technician today called their contact at VMWare - Fusion not officially for use with Lion - even though I read at the VMWare support site that others have made it work. Apparently my setup doesn't work.
Do you know how to do the proceedure for bringing up the disk utility when starting the disk?
BTW, some of the windows applications I want to continue using are Incredimail, Calendarscope, Stamps.com and a few others I have used over many years. What do you use for email and calendar?
Wow, sounds like another reason to not use MS Windows.
Regarding your Disk Utility question, please elablorate I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Disk Utilty is just that...a utility, it's something most users never have to use especially on a new computer. Let me know what you're trying to do there before I give you some instructions.
As for as your Windows apps I would recommend using Mail and iCal, both come as part of OS X and are very robust tools. Don't discount the software built right into OS X it's very robust and powerful not all like the bloatware most Windows boxes ship with. Stamps.com well I'd look for another alternative. It's clear they don't support OS X which makes me a little suspicious that they're so behind the times.
Also if you have not been exposed to these links before I'd strongly recommend bookmarking them and using them. They're extermely useful!
