The attachment bar at the bottom of incoming emails has no ''paperclip'' to select and open attached documents

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click if you want to make that permanent

Make sure that all the toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

I originally had over 900 unread emails on my ipad because I had been using my PC for all emails for quite some time. Meantime, because the two are synced, over 900 had been accruing on my ipad. I managed to delete and send to trash all but the 574. These 574 are showing in my inbox, but when I go to the inbox, there is no mail. How do I remedy this problem?

No I copied someone elses post to see if someone could explain which registry keys they copied because mimicking it might fix my problem. I am desperate to fix the problem to get my backup going.The person does not detail which keys. If it were me I would
elaborate so someone else who sees the post might have a better chance of fixing their issue.
Unfortunately I cannot find the original software or would have attempted a reinstall by now.
This was handed off to me by someone who is no longer working for the campany so the only information I have is what i can figure out.

PROBLEM
From the iPad I can only send/receive mail to my own ISP Email address, and Gmail account. Any other addresses hand typed or inserted from the iPad 'Contacts' book are bounced back as invalid Email addresses.
INFORMATION
My PC, iPod Touch and iPad Email configurations are exactly the same. I can successfully send and receive from the Touch and PC with no problem.
My ISP has no idea why the Emails are bouncing and verifies that all my settings are correct.

itunes failed to sync your email info properly. this is an itunes problem
delete Ipad backup
erase all email info, re enter it in itunes
then resync
verify...send an email yo yourself. see if it goes thru
if it fails it means itunes is not syncing your email info properly.
another option is dont sync info for email in itunes....instead, enter all email info directly on ipad and then see if it works there.

I HAVE SETUP MORE THAN 10 EMAIL ACCOUNTS IN TB. THEN I SENT A TEST EMAIL TO ALL OF MY EMAIL ACCOUNTS.
WHEN I CHECK INBOX OF INDIVIDUAL EMAIL ACCOUNT, THERE IS EMAIL AND SHOWING IN INDIVIDUAL INBOX OF ALL EMAIL ACCOUNTS BUT UNFORTUANTELY IT IS NOT SHOWING IN UNIFIED FOLDER of ALL INBOXES. Unified Inbox Folder of all Emails Accounts is only showing few of them.

Smtp configuration: Can't find smtpplugin.so

I've got an EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01 installation on AIX and I try to configure smtp for sending and receving emails.
But I cant' find the file smtpplugin.so in the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run. I'm missing also ./httpplugin.so.
Is it possible to download this files from sap marketplace?

Why can't I open all my emails, open attachments or send photos on my ipad anymore. Sometimes it takes awhile for an email to open, other times they open without any incident. I can't seem to be able to email any photos anymore.

It sounds like you have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them.
Pages 5 can not open Pages '08 files at all. You will need to Export the Pages '08 files to Word .doc/x or use Pages '09 to open the Pages '08 files and resave them.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 older Pages files can not be opened in previous Pages.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

This is the first time I have had this problem as my Ipod works immediately everywhere else. My laptop does not show this problem using the same orange provider, so its obviously some setting in the Ipod :-(

Try this:
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar at bottom
2. Hold the Safari app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Re-launch the app and test
Note: If necessary close all apps in the Task Bar

My folders open all over the place - basic I know, but can't find out why!

Hi all, this is a recent problem which has started with folders and sub folders on my Mac. When I used to open a folder and then open a sub-folder from inside it, they opened in the same window ie one replaced the other meaning I only ever had one window open at any time. Now the folders have started opening as new windows, I have to close each one manually after opening the new one, and I can't seem to go back to my old setting.
The box in finder>preferences> "always open folders in new window" is unchecked.
How can I get my old settings back? It's basic I know but I can't find any previous answer to this one.

As for the menu bar extra, try this: Navigate to ~(Home)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist and delete that file then log out and back in or restart. Your menu bar should return to default.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person

The older version allowed me to save all open tabs by giving it a name, i.e. April 29, but I can't find it in the new version. Is there anything like it available? If so, I really want it back

Tonight, for example, I have many tabs open which I'd like to close but re-open tomorrow.
I'd like to save them all as "April 30" in my Bookmarks... the 0ld version allowed me to do this, but I can't find this in the new version.
The only way I don't seem to lose those open tabs I'm working with is by doing "Contol + Delete", but I know this shouldn't be done all the time...

The seller should have given you the original disk so that you can reinstall as needed. But it likely was a single-user license (which really means single computer) so you can only have a copy on one computer at a time. If the seller didn't give you the disk he is probably still using the software on his new Mac. Your best option to get any of the iWork apps to use in OS X 10.6.6 or later is through the Mac App Store. You can then install them on any Mac you have that has access to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID.
