I can see photos on Apple TV, but cannot see it on a computer which was crashed. How can I retrieve my photos?
My computer was crashed and there was no backup, new hard disk and new system was installed. I had photos in iCloud and I can still see it on my AppleTV, however, I cannot see it on my computer or any other Apple devices. How can I retrieve my photos back?

A movie rented on an iPhone can only be viewed on an iPhone. If you want to view on TV you need to rent directly on ATV or via computer (and stream using home-sharing)

Downloaded Mt Lion Yesterday and my Tool bar has disappeared. I can still access the individual tools but cannot see my header. I used 'help' and did what it suggested. slected 'hide tool bar' and then 'show toolbar'. I also restarted etc.
Good point BDAqua, the Escape key helps get me back to reality in Lion.
While I've only dabbled around a little in Lion since it's release (I upgraded a 10.6 Clone to Lion on one of my FireWire Drives) now I'm currently downloading Mountain Lion (to upgrade a Clone of that Lion Clone) so that now I can continue to move forward in madness.

It should not be allowed that people put a fake app and charge money for it. That is bad busienss practice and damages Apple more than any body else. I only lost 1 dollar but will cost Apple much more since it made an unhappy customer who will say about her bad experience to at least 10 other people. -

They don't expire. As far as anyone knows Apple IDs live on forever - if you forgot its password use https://iforgot.apple.com. Good luck with the answers to whatever security questions it asks.

Right! That's the reason you do not create a new Apple ID.
As far as Apple is concerned a new Apple ID is a completely different user, with absolutely, positively no access to anything available to any other Apple ID.
Concentrate your efforts on resetting the password to your old Apple ID. It has not expired, and is the only way to use all your existing iTunes purchases, App Store purchases, computer authorizations... etc. Forget about the new Apple ID you just created. -
Can't add albums in library to iPhone.
Full question: I have several albums in my library that I cannot get onto my device. I have tried manually adding the albums, but it doesn't work. I can view the albums in "Music," but when I click on "iPhone" they are gone. How can I transfer them over?

You can use separate AppleIDs for iCloud, iMessage and iTunes - you just need to create unique AppleIDs for the iCloud accounts if syncing contacts that way (you will need an email address that is not already registered as an AppleID though to get another AppleID).
Apps are a different matter in that purchases are tied to the AppleID used to log in to the store to make the purchase. So you can create another AppleID for iTunes as well and use different ones on the different phones, but any apps you have already purchased with your existing AppleID are permanently tied to that AppleID.
Really, unless you are sharing apps, content and such, there is no reason to use the same AppleID on each anyway. So the simplest solution is to create new AppleID(s) for the second device. If you need an email address to do that, just get a gmail account (or hotmail, yahoo or any other free email account). -

1) Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
2) Now connect your iPad to your laptop and start iTunes.
3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your new laptop, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on Edit / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.
That should do it. -

If all you are seeing is the settings and computers icon it means your ATV is not connected to the internet. Since all that content is from the internet it has to be able to connect to it to give you those options.

Why can I connect OK w/VPN, but cannot see Server?
Finally got my VPN service running on 10.8.3 Server. Am able to connect from outside fine, but after connecting I cannot see my Server in my Sidebar, cannot access my Share Points, nor can I access the Server thru Screen Sharing.
When I return to my office and connect to the LAN, I am able to see the Server, access my Shared folders, and start Screen Sharing without any problems.
Any ideas why this is not working?
Thank you !When you connect via VPN, you'll be joined to the network, but won't be automatically logged into the server. That's a seperate step. In Finder, Go menu, select "Connect to Server...". You might see your server there, maybe not. Either way, you should be able to type in your server's internal IP address and connect to it.
Also, check how you've configured the VPN settings on your server. You'd want VPN to tell your clients what DNS server to use while they are conencted. If you want them to see internal resources like your server, you'd want to put your server's internal IP address in here as the DNS server to point the clients to.
In my screenshot below, I've put in my router's address. You'd want your server listed here, or you'd want your router configured to be using your server for it's DNS lookups. I think either one should work. -

If you can not access the old hard drive and you have not made backups of your bookmarks, you will not be able to recover the bookmarks.

I had to change my apple id but the icloud account still has the old one. How can i change it.
My apple id was cancelled by apple due to a problem and they suggested me to make a new apple id with a different email adress. Thats what i did, the proble is that the i cloud has the old apple id and i was trying to change it but i cant and the iphone keeps asking me to put de password on the old apple id wich is no longer in use
The second problem is that when i was trying to change that, something happened and all my contacts were erased!
I still have them on my ipad, but i dont know what to do, is all a mess with my devices!
Can somebody help me please?With iOS 7 you will have to provide the password for the old ID in order to delete the existing account from your iPad. If you can't do this, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Produces & Services>Apple ID>iTunes Store, App Store or Mac App Store>Disabled Apple ID.
As far as your missing contacts, when you get the password for the old ID reset, sign in with the ID and your new password at icloud.com and check to see if your contacts are there. If they are, export them as a vCard as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606. You can then import this vCard to your new account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3605.
