I can select a rating and a color label for my images, but I can not sort by rating and color label.
I can select a rating and a color label for my images, but I can not sort by rating and color label. when I click on the filter drop down, color label is not one of the options. how do I get both ratings and color lables as an option to sort with.
You can Filter (not sort) on both color label and rating if you want, open the Filter Bar with the backslash key, then click on Attribute, and then select the stars and color label of interest. If you really meant "sort" and not filter, then you can't do this in Lightroom.

How do I import a camera video from iphoto to imovie? I went to file, import, camera archives and the video I want I am not able to select. I even tried dragging it from my desktop, but it will not allow me to do so. Please help?
Use File/Import/Movie and navigate to the file.

What does "it will not let me purchase it" mean exactly? Are you getting an error message? -
having trouble importing individual songs on a CD. Instructions say to select/deselect songs using the check marks by song titles, but they are not there. never had this problem in older versions. Help Please
Are you saying that the tick-box shown in my screenshot, isn't there? (Yes, this is iTunes 11 - I've turned on the sidebar and the Menu bar. So you can see, this is a CD in my drive that we're looking at.)
If it isn't, go to Edit/Preferences/General and turn on the tick-box box
You can show the Menu Bar (with Edit on it) by using CTRL + B -

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer. -

i have set my links to be black in my page properties. i have somes images that i am using for links and i do not want the to have a black box tracing their outline. it's messing up my design and tables. is there a way for my images that are links NOT to be denoted by whatever color i set my links to be in my page properties?

I have OS X 10.6.8 on my mac and have just downloaded 10.7.4 (needed for imovie 11) but it will not update. What has happened to the downloaded update?
When you downloaded Lion from the Appstore (and paid 29$) you have 10.7.4.
After the download you will find it in the Applications folder: that is the installer ! The installer vanishes when used, thus if you want to make an installer disk (to avoid a later redownload), you should do it before you run this installer. After my iphone got wet in the rain the screen is dim. I have put it in a tub rice for 36 hours but it as not improved. The phone seems to be working ok just can't see the screen.
Thank you. I told it to the apple store in Southampton and they were fab. I was lucky and there was no water damage, the water indicators didn't change colour. It was just bad luck my screen failed at the same time as it got wet!! Screen changed and all is well. Thank you Genuis Tom and West Quay!!

In Lightroom 3 I am in Library mode in the Grid View and need to rearrange images, but it is not allowing me to move them.
I don't do a lot of dragging to custom arrange my images. But the custom order is right at the bottom of the list of sort orders on my computer.
Added later: But don't worry about the custom order. It doesn't make any difference on my system. Are you sure you are dragging the image itself, and not the border around the image? -
I am having trouble printing a PDF document. Whenever I click print nothing happens but when I am printing documents from Word, Excel etc they print without a problem. I've tried printing as image but that did not work. I uninstalled Adobe Reader XI and downloaded Adobe Reader X instead and that still doesn't work. I have Windows 7.

I just applied for an Account but they did not request my ISBN. I may have made an error in completing the information. How can I correct it?
Did you just apply for an account or did you try to upload a book? If you are simply setting up an account, they won't ask you for an ISBN number. They will, however, ask for your tax ID number. After your account is activated, then any time you upload a new book, you will need to supply an ISBN number. Since each book has a unique ISBN, they don't need those numbers to initially set up your account. I hope that helps.
