I can send but not recieve my e-mails from gmail.

I am able to send messages from my outlook/Thunderbird account through my gmail account, but not receive them. Once in a while I can, but not for the last 3 days. I can go to gmail through google and get them, though. It's not the way I have done it for the past forever years. Please help

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your BIS conduits for the affected email accounts.

You may have a corrupt preference. Mail - Preferences - Accounts - click the offending account and re-enter all prefereneces. Also you can use Apple's OS X Mail: Troubleshooting sending and receiving email messages located at:

even wiped the entire phone and re-entered exchange details
All my folders are there - all contacts...
but keep getting the error, connection to the server has failed.
But like i said, can send mail, sync contacts...surf web...
its this way on 3g, edge and wifi.
and yes i know i entered the correct server address, otherwise i would not have all my folders and contacts.

Have you tried sending yourself an email to see if that one comes in? Have you logged into your email account on a computer to check your email just to make sure that everything is OK there? Have you checked the incoming server settings to make sure that your username and password are correct?

My 3gs can send but not recieve texts

my wifes phone this morning was working fine but since this afternoon she cannot recieve any texts. she can send and make and recieve phone calls though

I have tried everything in the above link before posting. I now have two Ipad mini's doing the exact same thing (different email's) and one Ipad with another email set up exactly the same that works fine. All email go to the same account and although the mini's say they cannot connect the emails still successfully send. They just cannot recieve email's.

Everything was fine then I kept getting a message saying incorrect user name or password and could not recieve email.

Have you tried to remove and then re enter your account info? Sometimes things get messed up and the only way to fix it is to just start over.

I can send but not receive email using Mail and Comcast

My incoming mail [Mac Mail 3.6(936) ] slowed and now has stopped. I get error message "mail.comcast.net" on port 995 timed out. I can send. I can receive at Comcast.net. I have tried changing the port setting to 101 and no SSL and 587 (the comcast online set up guide), etc. and sometimes it works once then fails again. I have deleted the p-list in the Mail Library and restarted and still nothing.
I deleted the account and set it up again but still no luck. Oddly the Preferences says deleting the Accounts will delete everything but the Mailboxes are still there. Part of the problem?
I do not have this issue using Thunderbird which is a program I do not like.
I used Comcast's various online guides, a long useless chat and useless email to no avail. My Primary Account Holder email (which I never use) works but not my every day email account.

Here is what I would try -
Run the disk permissions utility....see if a repair works....
On the mail menu, go to Window => Connection Doctor - do you see errors (red dot) If so, what does it say the error is caused by?

Can send but not recieve faxes.

Hi there.
So I have this weird problem, I can sent faxes, no problems here, but I there is a problem with the incoming faxes.
When I recieve a fax, the regular routine happens, apparently everything is ok from the sender side but I got no faxes on the Fax folder in my home folder (and no email either, even if I checked this option).
If I refer to the fax menu item, I can see the call, the reception and all the regular process, but no activity on the "internal modem" window.
I got a quicksilver G4, with the builtin apple v.90 modem.
I never had this problem before.

For some reason the emails that are sent to me are not coming through. Sending works just fine but i can't recieve any.
I called my service provider to check all my settings...he said i had a couple of emails that really large and that was probably the problem....he deleted them but still nothing.
Any suggestions?

yeah, i should have mentioned that..sorry. IT's POP, but it looks like deleting the large emails by my ISP worked....except all the pending emails that he said existed have not come through.

I can send but not recieve BB Message from Other country!!

Hello,
Last week I was in spain and I bought a Sim Card With a data plan to use my Blackberry. everything works find I come back to my country and I put my original SIM into the BB.
Now, I´m able to use all the funtionalities but when people from Spain try to send me a BB Message the message never arrive but if I write to them everything works fine and they get the message...
It is something like the routing system is bad... Maybe my device continue register in spain and when the people there try to write the message goes to a wrong place... beacuse I can wirte them normally.
I already register again my device and replace the services Book...
What do you suggest to do? Thanks!!

There is no restriction for BlackBerry Messenger from one country to another. It would be very very odd, as is in your case, that ONLY users from one country were restricted to messaging you, or vice versa.
I suggest that you ask for the issue to be ESCALATED to RIM level, BlackBerry support, they should give you an escalation number and transfer the issue to trained BlackBerry support technicians. That is what you should do.
If you don't want to do that, or won't do it based on thinking they won't be able to handle, the only two suggestions I have left is to completely delete BlackBerry Messenger (Options > Advanced > Applications) from your device, and reinstall it from www.blackberry.com/messenger
The second suggestion would be to delete ALL of your service book entries on the device (Options > Advanced > Service Books), delete each, and then resend them to to your device by following the instructions below:
1) Register HRT:     (OS5) Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scoll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced... etc.
2) Resend Service Books:   KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Upgraded to Tiger; Mail can Send, but not receive... help!

Hi there,
I've come across lots of issues people have had importing all their mailboxes when they've upgraded from Panther to Tiger, but my wife's problem is different - - Mail can Send, but not receive. 'Get Mail' hasn't worked since the upgrade. I've been on the phone with my POP server provider, and all my Mail Account settings are correct. I can send mail, as I say, and sure enough, there it is in her Hotmail web page, along with all the other messages people have sent her in the last two weeks...
So why can't Mail 'get' these messages, if all the settings are correct?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You’re welcome.
If you deleted a POP account, then all the messages stored in that account’s mailboxes has certainly been wiped out, not just moved somewhere, and you were warned that this would happen by the following alert:
Remove Account
Are you sure you want to remove the <AccountType> account "<AccountName>"?
This will permanently delete the account setup information, mailboxes, and messages from your computer. Messages stored on the mail server will not be affected.
To prevent that from happening, you should have moved those messages to custom “On My Mac” mailboxes instead of leaving them in the account’s mailboxes. Actually, using Inbox and Sent for archiving purposes is a bad idea regardless.
If the messages are not on the server and you don’t have a backup (which you should have made before doing something like that), you may try to salvage as many deleted *.emlx files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II, TechTool Pro, or FileSalvage (the files to be recovered would be different in the case of Mail 1.x). Of these, the only one I know for sure that can currently recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage. Stop using your computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.
