I dont have an old email address to sign in to iCloud on iOS 10.10.2 and I cant change the password because the email address is not available to me.

Want to change me password for my Apple ID on I cloud. I am doing this on my Mac but going into I cloud on Safari. Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Mail Off, then after a few seconds turn it back on. This deletes, then adds back your iCloud email account. (You won't lose any email by doing this.) Then test your account again.

Might be a poor internet connection. Try resetting it (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). See if you can sign in when it restarts.

I am new to Apple. I decided to start with an Ipad, and love it. However, I cannot figure out an issue I am having. I have Windows 7. The icloud control panel worked without issue until a few weeks ago. I have an ipad 3. I have reset my password a few times, but it doesn't fix the issue. Can't update apple ID on my Mac to sign into icloud

I changed my apple ID to a different email address a while ago. But I cannot sign in to icloud on my Mac because the Mac still shows the old ID. I can sign into icloud on the icloud site with the new ID. Because my Mac still shows the old ID, icloud is not storing any new data for me. How can I change my apple ID on this laptop? I already made sure it is changed everywhere I can, but I still cannot access my icloud information. Thanks!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
To change the iCloud account, first you have to log out of the old one. Open System Preferences > iCloud, and if you don't want to lose your contacts, calendars, notes..., untick all services first. Then, press "Sign Out" at the left part of the window.
Finally, insert your new Apple ID and password, and follow the steps

You can't setup an iCloud account using a PC. You need a Mac, or an IOS device. You can sign into iCloud on your PC once you open an account.

After reviewing your post, I believe your device is under Activaltion Lock. The following article will provide you with more information about the feature:
iCloud: Activation Lock
With iOS 7 or later, Find My iPhone includes a feature called Activation Lock, which is turned on automatically when you set up Find My iPhone. Activation Lock makes it harder for anyone to use or sell your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if it’s ever lost or stolen.
With Activation Lock, your Apple ID and password are required before anyone can:
Turn off Find My iPhone on your device
Sign out of iCloud on your device
Erase and reactivate your device
Important: Make sure to remember your Apple ID and password, and that your password is unique and secure—someone else shouldn’t be able to guess it. For more information, see the Apple Support article Security and your Apple ID.
If you want to give away or sell your device, be sure to erase your content and settings (in Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings). When you erase your content, Find My iPhone and Activation Lock are also turned off.

Try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

UPDATE: it is possible to remove an iCloud affiliation from a device when the maximum number of free accounts has been used. I used the "reset and erase" option from Settings | General | Reset | Erase All Content and Settings. When this was finished, the iPod was like new - not just "restored" as we can do within iTunes and I had done with this device - it was legitimately restored. I signed in with my son's newly created Apple ID and it was accepted and now the device works like a charm. It also still uses my Apple ID and password for the iTunes and App stores, however I have restrictions in place to prohibit him from downloading or buying any content. I hope this helps anyone else that has reported this question.
