iTunes is updated and works fine and I am able to log onto my account. When I go to purchase a song, I get the error message "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I've tried different methods: changing passwords, making a new account with another email address, and emailing itunes tech support. I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem. I corrected my email address in itunes from .com to .co.uk but when i try to purchase anything/update applications it will not recognise my new email address password. Tried reverting back to old email address/password and that doesn't work either. Can anyone help?
If you made a mistake when you typed in the email address, you should probably change the Apple ID to reflect the correct email address.

Always getting the message "Apple ID Disabled" when trying to download Apps fron ITunes Store, even free ones.
I have reset my password several times, gone into my "Account Settings" and changed card details, and all ok. I can get into my I tUNES ACCOUNT OK, BUT AT FINAL HURDLE WHEN WANTING TO DOWNLOAD AN app, THE ERROR MESSAGE "Apple ID Disabled"Have you tried tapping on your id in Settings > Stores on your phone and logging ouy of your account and then logging back in and seeing if that 'refreshes' the account on it ?

We are fellow users, we won't know why it's disabled. You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your device by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page -

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -
My iphone 4s wont sync when I connect it to the pc( not apple). It is connected as it comes up on itunes but when I try to sync it with apps/ music etc it wont. I am doing something wrong or is it a mistake with the phone. I am still able to download apps and music from itunes on my phone though.
I already restored it but that didn't help.

If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

The usual reasons for an Apple ID getting disabled are either unauthorized activity or violations of the Terms & Conditions.
Submit your request to iTunes Customer Service and if appropriate, they will re-enable it. -
