I can't access a report in reporting services in a VM via azure website with reportviewer

Hi. I just create a VM with Reporting services, create a dataset, and a report, but when i try to access that report from my azure website via reportviewer i receive the error "the request failed with http status 401: unauthorized". Somebody with
an idea about what is wrong?. I set reportserver URI, report Path, user and password to the reportviewer.

If it is the SQL Reporting report server then follow these steps.
Resolution: On the Server Home page select the
Allow other Windows Azure services to access this server checkbox.
To open the Server Home page:
1.
Go to https://windows.azure.com
2. Navigate to the SQL Database server
3. Click Firewall rules
4. Select the Allow other Windows Azure services to access this server checkbox

Go into Time Machine (the program not the bundle on the extrnal disk) and using Time Machine's browser go to the Folder where the library lives. You could look in the library bundle in Time Machine but that won't really tell you much,
If you want to make sure it truely has backed up your library you will need to restore it and open the restored library with Aperture.
If all this still has you confused you need to read up on Time Machine in order to get a feel for how it works, for what it is doing and for how to restore files from it.

Are you looking for the serial number or the IMEI? If the phone was active on your Verizon acount, Verizon can give you the IMEI.

New Ipod Touch 5g can't access Internet in home network (using Linksys E4200 router). But, OK with other Wifi.

Just bought new Ipod Touch 5g. I found out it can't access Internet in home network. not really cannot access, but very slow to open any web page, App Store failed to access, etc. But, OK with other Wifi (office & starbucks). Others existing iOS devices (Iphone4 & Ipad2) have no problem like this. I'm using Linksys E4200 router at home. anyone has any idea why?

Certain PDF files (dynamic XFA forms) created in Adobe LiveCycle can only be opened in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat. When you try to open these files in an alternative PDF viewer, then you will see this error message.
Unfortunately, it's not easy remove this message and modify the PDF so that it can be opened in alternative PDF viewers. The person who created the original form must re-create the form using options that do not restrict which PDF viewers can open and display the file.
Adobe has made the decision that since very few non-Adobe products support these special PDF files, that it is better to show this message -- and require the user to download Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat -- than it is to let the PDF viewer try to render the document. You might want to ask the user to Reader-extend the documents so that you can view it with Adobe Reader.

I need your help regarding enabling new features of smart view.
I am not able to use the following feature of smart view:
- Range Retrieval
- Butterfly report
Do I have to configure any settings to enable this feature??
Currently I am using the following:
smart view client: 11.1.2.2.00
smart view provider: 11.1.2.1.00
Essbase: not sure (will try to get the info if needed)

That must be the cause.
I saw a documentation that the smart view 11.1.2.2 is compatible with service provider 11.1.2.X,
but did not mention any loss in functionality for earlier versions like 11.1.2.1.00.

Can't access OneDrive for Business of my SharePoint 2013 running on Azure

I have SharePoint running on a Azure virtual machine setup using the scripts included with the VS2013 gallery image (no AD, only NTML). I've opened the end points 80->80 and made sure OneDrive works locally on the machine and I can access SP from
outside (after disabling the min download feature).
If I try linking OneDrive for B from the outside I get prompted for a password but then a error message follows says the path might be wrong.
Is there some ports that I need to open? Any log I could check?
Any ideas are wellcome.

Please use network monitor tool to check whether there were some blocked port traffic on Azure.
Please open Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application, then filter Current log, select the Event sources is Skydrive-SyncEngine, check whether there are some errors related to this issue.
As I am not familiar with Azure, I suggest you create a new thread on Azure forum, more experts will assist you with this issue.

How can I access user permission for specific items in Sharepoint 2013 via REST API?

I want to access user permissions for specific items like lists, documents, folders etc. via the REST API.
Currently I am hitting the following endpoint:

I cant understand why high and low are both 0? I have added the user to a specific group. Also this is the same result for each of the users. Another thing to note is that I havent added the "Guest" user in the sharepoint server. So when I hit the endpoint for the Guest user, it still shows the same response. So I know there is something I am doing wrong.I want to access permission of a user for a specific item, say a document using the REST API. Can someone tell me how? What would be the endpoint?

I suggest, that while Mozilla is on a "rush to release updates faster than fixing bugs" kick, NO ONE should have "automatic updates" on. Go into "tools" and turn off that option, and NEVER agree to accept an update unless you know that things have been made compatible and that the bugs have been ironed out.
It's also wrong of them to release NON-beta copies, automatically, which cause incompatibility, every few weeks. That should only happen every year or two.
We need to ban together and quit installing their updates until they quit rushing them out too quickly.

Can't access NAS through Windows 8.1 file explorer anymore

This used to word perfectly, but since I reinstalled my Windows 8.1 setup I can't access my NAS through Windows Explorer anymore.
The weird thing is: I can still access it by logging in into the admin console via "http://ix4-300d/manage/manage.html" in IE.
From here I can access and edit my shares, download stuff, etc.
But for some reason my PC can't find my NAS anymore using file explorer -> Network -> \\ix4-300d\.
This sucks, cause now I can't copy anything to the NAS anymore (which used to work perfectly).
I guess it must be some network setting in Windows, but I can't find it.
Anyone knows what could be the problem?
Both the PC and the NAS are in workgroup "WORKGROUP" btw.

First thing to do is make sure that you have the correct IP address (you can find this on the ix4 display) and try the procedure using the IP address instead of the device name>
I would also try manually mapping the Shares:

Skype can't access my sound card

Skype can't access my sound card. It fails every time and says "problem with recording device."
I've tried running it as an administrator, uninstalling and reinstalling, I'm pretty sure I've turned off any realtek sound effects or enhancements. I've made sure that applications can take exclusive control, but nothing has helped so far. DirectX diagnostics attached below
