I can´t access my private folders.

Good morning.
I configured a file system repository manager.
In the KM Content, I can access the public folders but can´t my private folders.
I get the following error:
Item not found
/Homes_02/acastaneda
The item you are attempting to access is not available. Check that the name or link is correct. You might also check whether the associated repository is currently accessible.
other user can see his public and private folders.
How can I sover the problem?.

Hi Ticiano,
If this error is coming, then might be the name is not correct or that particular file is not stored in the correct path. I request you to check again for the name and the document path.
Also about the access for the users, you have to check whether that folders have your permissions or not.
For that you have to go to that particular folder in the KM content under Content Admin, and check the permissions of the folder under settings.
I hope your query will be resolved with this.

Can't access old user folders after archive and install

I had a disc failure on my old iBook G4 (no wonder) and after repairing the disc and archiving and reinstalling Tiger 10.4.11, I can't open any of my old user folders. Mostly I need the iTunes library in one user folder. How do I get at it? Will setting it up as a target disc give me access to that music?

Accounts made in o365 can't access legacy public folders - Migrated through 2010/2013 Hybrid can access

We've added two 2013 hybrid servers to our existing 2010 environment. Added the CAS role to all 2010 mailbox servers per ( https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn249373%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx ) and currently have public folders (located on our
2010 mailbox servers) working in Outlook client for users whose mailboxes have been migrated from on-prem 2010 to o365. The problem is when we create a new user in o365, that user CAN see that we have public folders via Outlook client, but when we expand
the public folder list a credential window pops up and will not accept any set of credentials (even those of working hybrid migrated accounts).
We are following this method when creating new o365 accounts:
1) Make a user in AD
2) Dirsync the user
3) License the user for exchange
4) Run on on-prem mailbox server via Exchange Management Shell: Enable-RemoteMailbox "[email protected]" -RemoteRoutingAddress "[email protected]"
5) In o365 Remote Exchange Powershell run: Get-Mailbox -identity "[email protected]" |fl Identity,ExchangeGUID
6) Copy ExchangeGUID
7) Back on on-prem mailbox server via Exchange Management Shell: Set-RemoteMailbox "[email protected]" -ExchangeGUID <paste GUID here>
8) Dirsync the user again
I've compared two Remote User Mailboxes, ones that were migrated via Hybrid, and ones that were created in o365 and the settings look identical outside of the attribute "RemoteRecipientType" is set to Migrated vs ProvisionMailbox. I'm not
sure what else the difference in these accounts could possibly be that would be causing this credential failure.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Please do the following steps to create an Exchange Online mailbox in your Hybrid environment:
Method 1: Create a remote mailbox for an existing user.
If you already have created a user in Active Directory, and the user has already been synced to online with license, we can give that user a mailbox in Exchange Online by using the Exchange Management Shell cmdlet Enable-RemoteMailbox on
your on-premise Exchange server:
Get-User “User1” | Enable-RemoteMailbox
Then the mailbox is enabled with an Exchange Online mailbox. We can check the mailbox by running the following command in On-premise Exchange server:
Get-RemoteMailbox “Test1” | FL *address*
Method 2: Directly create a new remote mailbox.
1. Create the remote mailbox in On-premise Exchange server by running:
$Credentials = Get-Credential
New-RemoteMailbox -Name "Test2" -Password $Credentials.Password -UserPrincipalName
[email protected]
2. Launch dirsync and assign a license to the newly created user with Office 365 account.
Then Test2 can sign in, using his on premises credentials, and open his online mailbox.

It sounds like you have your Hotmail setup as POP in Mail. You will need to add a new account as IMAP. Note, when you delete the POP account in Mail it will also delete the messages in the Inbox. You need to archive or move the Inbox messages to a folder before deleting the account.
The iPhone is connecting through ActiveSync (which is exclusively for mobile devices).
Since you are using [email protected], you might need to log into your account in Safari and add aliases for your email as [email protected] before creating the IMAP account.

I want to do a abap unit test inside a user program. the program calls my class and i want some of the methods there to be tested (i.e. db layer, some business logic etc).
My problem is, that I can define unit test very goog on program level or even for public methods of the class.
But what should I do if I want the maybe 3 private methods called by the public method to be tested standalone?
Does anyone have a idea for that?

you may test private methods with the help of the FRIEND statement. For sample you place a local testclass in the class pool. In order to get friendship you may than use the following sequence of statements.

    definition for testing.

      methods:
        retrieve_Fails_For_Bad_Key   for testing,

By this technique you can grant access to private members of the global class to any local class. Without exposing something to the outside world! This code can be placed in the local implementation include of the class pool, or in test class include from release 7.02 onwards.
Using transaction /nABAPHELP provides all details on the FRIEND statement.
Testing private methods can be useful but also tends to result in [fragile tests|http://xunitpatterns.com/Fragile%20Test.html]. That means changes to the implementation may make your test turn red without any violation of the outside contract.

Can't Access Public Folders Within Outlook, But Can Through Web Access

I have an Exchange 2010 Server (V14.02.0387.000) with clients using Outlook 2007-2013. Until recently all users could access all public folders without issue. However, since moving the location of the public and private mailboxes on the server (to new drives
with more space and defragging etc), a number of users are unable to access the public folders, getting error "Cannot expand the folder. the attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed". However, when they log in through Outlook Web Access,
they can view the public folders without issue.
I've tried restarting all the Exchange services, as well as multiple reboots of the server.

I'm going to start with some general advice. Don't bother running ESEUTIL anymore to reduce database sizes. If you find you need to do that, simply create a new database, move all the mailboxes to it, and then delete the old database.
If you created a new public folder database, did you change the mailbox databases to point to it using Set-MailboxDatabase -PublicFolderDatabase?

I updated to 3.6, lost bookmarks, have only a default profile so I restored. The bookmarks are now there but I can't get the dropdown list for many folders so I can't access these. Clicking on the arrow to the right of the folder name does nothing.

When I Click on some of the bookmark folders I do get a dropdown list of sites but not always all of the sites that were bookmarked. If I copy a nonresponding folder, the new copy can be accessed but apparently does not contain all of the sites. If I rightclick on a nonresponding folder and use 'open all tabs' Firefox will tell me the number of sites in the folder and ask if I really want to open so many.

I don't if this issue is before or since installation of 10.8 (a nightmare in my case, which led to significant failure issues). And because I haven't tried to remove templates since finally managing to install 10.8 (now at 10.8.4), I don't know if this is typical of the newer OS or a problem. I've been a Mac user for more than 25 years, but I think I'm nearing the end of the road. By the way, I've never needed to do this before because the manuals always offered an answer... they don't seem to do that anymore. In any case, I don't know how this works... I'd prefer an email reply if that's possible. But that would probably be too easy, and I don't know how to get a reply.

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I think this is one of the problems Apple is creating by changing the OS so often. I had fomer colleagues at [a major aerospace contractor] who told me that so many original files were ultimately lost because of the deadly change in the "Save As" operation that they are now afraid of every OS update. Apple has badly damaged their support base with that very prominent company (they won't update now until they've fully examined and understand changes in the pre-conditioned nature of OS computer functions), and they are a whole lot less enthaled with Mac-related equipment/software. Can't blame them, I too used orginal files that way (as easy-to-use templates), and lost some important files before I realized what was happening (to late to revert). Companies should not have to retrain employees each time an OS gets an update, it's can be very expensive several different ways. They learned a painful lesson with that one. And because I'm now retired and don't use multiple devices, I need iCloud like I need a hole in the head... but I'm told there's no way to keep Apple out of my computer. Fortunately, because of major problems when initially installing Mountain Lion, one hold-over of the hardware/software damage I experienced was that iCloud can no longer access my computer even though everything else is working fine again. That was the only "good luck" I had as a result of that expensive nightmare.

Dont know if this is a new occurrence or very many details but try changing "permissions".
Navigate to the following folder: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom
Highlight the Lightroom folder and chose File > Get Information
Under Sharing & Permission, verify that your have Read & Write Privileges. If not, click the padlock icon at the lower right, enter your password when prompted, then click the Read only entry and select Read & Write.

I have created a user "User A" with Shared Services URL with admin ID. I have given all view access to that user.
When User A Log In in Hyperion Workspace, he is not able to see any folders even though I have given full access for that folders to User A.
Please help me what role I have to give User A where he may be able to see his folder where he has access to it.

Can you make sure that he is not a part of a group which has access to the folders.
I don't think he'll be able to view the files inside if he is not having the access to view the files.
Just see whether he can check any files in those folders.
You can restrict the access to other folders by giving a none permission to the users. I would'nt do that if he is not having access to the files inside.

I can not access any more shared folders on windows 7 other pc on my homegroup

Hello every one.
I had my home group network working fine over wi-fi connection, (laptop with win 8.1 and laptop with win7) till few days ago I had to format and re install the win 8.1 using recovery disk from toshiba. Since then, although I have setup again the home
group as it was before, I can access the shared folders on win8.1 from win 7 but not the other way around. So when I try to access the shared folders on win 7, on my win 8.1 I receive the message: WINDOWS CAN NOT ACCESS \\WIN 7\\SHARED FOLDER.
Notice that when I open the network folder on win 8.1, my win 7 pc is visible, I click on it, I can see all my shared folders and the above message appears when I click on them.
Apparently some settings have changed on laptop win 8.1
Any help would be very much appreciated.
