I can't access my TextEdit files stored in the cloud.I get the message that this document cannot be opened

When trying to open any of my TextEdit files that are stored in the cloud I get the message "The document 'named document' could not be opened. What is up.
I need this data. How do I get access to it?

Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here. You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network. That's bad. Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network. So stop doing it.
As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information. There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot. Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

just call them...i bought my PB when it came out...but I had an issue recently and called them up and they helped me out....

When I try too click on a disk I get the previously stated error. I can't even open up information to see what permission/access there is. It simply will not let me see the content. It shows the content of my main hard drive when I have clicked the other harddrive's name.

That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
/Library/Application Support/Conduit
/Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
/Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
/Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
/Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
Library/Application support/conduit plugins
Also, as mentioned by Gilli2000:
Library/Receipts - If you read it, it has information in it at the bottom referring extensively to "CT" and "community toolbar".
Maybe it is harmless, but trash those items anyway!
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.

I suspect you have created the documnet's in Pages 08 or earlier. Do you have the iWork 08 DVD so you can install it? Then update to from this link Pages 08 3.0.3 Use it for you older documents and use Pages 5 only for new documents.

Reinstalling iTunes simply replaces the application. It shouldn't affect your media. You do have backups, right?

I can only suggest you now need to somehow link your mobile to sync with the new calendar 'On my Mac'.

Apple Logo, left hand side of the menu bar, About this Mac. It should be right there. If not then More Info, Sys Info.
But it would seem you don't have 2GBs installed and more then likely both RAM slots are already filed. So you just need to buy more RAM in a pair. That could be 2 1GBs chips or if your Mac can have more then that then 2 2 GB chips or 2 4GB chips.
Get your model # and go to Crucial.com and use their memory search to find out how much your Mac can have installed and the price for it. I suggest you install as much as it can take. Cost is very low on RAM these days.

Try logging in without the "1" in front of the 10 digit number, if you are already not using the 1, put it in front of the fax number. If that does not work, try turning ePrint off, then back on from under the web services menu. That menu is located under the set up Icon on the front panel that looks like a wrench. Then after that touch the webservices icon ( the one that looks like a piece of paper with a target behind it) and then reprint the info/report page from webservices and then try to login again.

Here's the deal. If you ever open a Numbers file with Version 3, the file is converted to Version 3 and can't be opened again by Version 2. Version 2 and Version 3 are undoubtedly both on your machine and they look so similar that you may not realize which you are using. So, there are two steps to getting into trouble.
1. Open a Numbers 2 file with Numbers 3, edit it and Close it.
2. Try to open that file with Version 2. You ill get the error.
To always get it right, find the file you want to open in Finder, Right-Click it and choose Open With... and pick Version 3 from the drop down list.
If you have a file that you prefer to use only in Version 2, always use Open with... Numbers 2.3.
