I can't access to Virtual Store
Hi.
I have bought a second hand Journe Touch and I can't access to Virtual Store. I always get a blank white screen... until I press on the botton left corner (where say "Impressum 6.jt1.co"). Then arise something like a web page... but it isn't the Toshiba Virtual Store. So, my first question is:
Is the Virtual Store still working ??

I'm using the firmware version E_1.1.00.
I suppose an user account for this device has been already registered and I will need to register a new account with my e-mail address.
Everytime I push the Virtual Store icon I only got a white screen. So I can't see the personal account number of my device. I think the first I need is to know the device account number. Then I will try to register a new account. Am I right?
I have flashed the device a lot of times and the result is always the same: after press the Virtual Store icon, the display shows a bottom bar that seems to be right ("Impressum 6.jt1.co", left arrow icon, refresh icon, right arrow icon and home icon) and the rest of the screen in white.
Any suggestion?

After resetting the account and update the virtual store,
I get a blank page while trying to access the virtual store.
I proceeded to update firmaware. always blank page.after the reset, the page is still blank. no access to the virtual store. can you check the serial number of my JournE Touch?
S / N: 5A015441DH, are this a zero? or the letter O? I write the number 0 for account creation.

Can anyone please help! I haven't been able to connect to the iTunes store to purchase music for some time now. When I click on the iTunes icon my music library appears, but when I try to connect to the store (top RH side of window) I get a new window saying cannot connect to the store an erroe -3221 has occured.

When you say "her email address" do you mean that you set up a separate Apple ID for her using her email address as her Apple ID? If so, was it ever verified by Apple? Did she get the email verification?

That wasn't a very good idea. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another or merge Apple IDs. Not for anyone. All of the content that you got free or bought with the old ID is forever associated with that ID. You cannot redownload or update any of it without the old Apple ID.

Your profile indicates your Mac is running v10.7.2
If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

Hi there, got 3 issues at once....
1) can't download the latest itune version onto my PC (it simply stops, not even an error message)
2) can't access the itune store and in order to fix this i need the latest version - catch 22!
3) one of my ipods isn't recognised by itune, nit sure if because of the earlier problems?

Ive been through various threads on here.
There has been quite a few things said and some people are having luck with.
Reset all your settings works, but only once. when you shut down and open back up same problem.
Ive tried changing how my cookies respond, this doesnt work either.
My app store loads in a second, fastest its ever been.
Ive noticed that when your in settings and click on something eles it takes maybe a second or two before it changes to the next screen something thats never happened on 6

Here are some steps to resolve this issue:
1) Sign out of your iTunes Store account
2) Close iTunes
3) Restart your computer
4) Reset Cache*
*From iTunes, look at the top of the page and select "iTunes", choose "Preferences", then select "Advanced" and click "Reset Cache". -

Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Like so many others, after updating to OS6 and changing my iCloud password, none of my devices (iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iMac etc) could connect to the tunes store, the error message was something "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again." However, there was nothing wrong with my internet connection - programs like Safari & Mail worked just fine.
After trawling through the discussions and trying the recommendations (change time/date, activate location services, reset network settings etc) I just became more frustrated.
I figured that if iTunes thought my network connection was the problem, maybe I should try tricking it and, after much trial, error and frustration, I did find a solution - and it may work for you...
I turned off WiFi on my iPhone, then connected to my telco's 3G network, then connected to the iTunes store and it worked fine. Then I switched back to WiFi and all is good. Did the same for the iPad. For the MacBook and iMac I turned off WiFi then tethered the iPhone on the 3G network to the computer, then connected to iTunes Store, then went back to WiFi. For some reason that I don't understand, this all went as planned and now everything works.
Anyway, I thought I should contribute to the community by letting you know the solution I found. Of course, this may not necessarily work for you, but it's worth a shot. -

Everytime I login to iTunes from my computer I'm getting a "can't connect to iTunes" error message. It goes halfway through accessing iTunes, then I get that "iTunes quit unexpectedly" script where a log of my error messages shows up that will be sent to Apple.
Anyone having this issue? I can't even upload any apps from my computer. But no problem accessing through my iPhone 4S or iPad.
Any suggestions anyone??

Can't access the Music Store. This thing is driving me nuts!!!
Ever since installing iTunes V7.x I had stability problems with iTunes and my Video iPod. I finally gave up and rolled back to iTunes 6.04 and restored the iPod to its former firmware. I thought my problems were behind me until I noticed this morning that none of my Podcasts were being updated, even though it looked like it was going through the motions. Every single podcast had a with the message:
"There was a problem downloading "xxx". The network connection was reset"
I then tried accessing the Music Store and got the message:
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. The network connection was reset."
I checked and re-entered my Apple account name and password, but still no go. If I went to the Apple web site directly, then the Apple store, I had no problem logging in. In the early iTune days I had the same "network connection reset" problem, but Apple apparently fixed it. Now here it is again. It is my gut feel that the problem has something to do with the fact that I depend on a satellite internet feed (Hughesnet). I'm guessing that there is some security feature either in iTunes, the Music Store, or both that is getting confused by the long turn-around time (latency) resulting from using satellite, but no way to prove it (unfortunately, due to poor health, I can't get out to try other internet connections).
Bottom line is I am stuck with an iPod I can't use because I can't access the Music Store. Any ideas?Believe it or not I got mine working finally though I'm not sure which of the following steps, if any, did the trick. I posted this problem in the DSLReports forum. Apparently several people had problems though none mentioned iTunes specifically. The 'fix' was to go into the advanced menu and change the proxy port to something other than Port: 87. The idea was that this effectively turns off the proxy server or I should say forces your receiver to not use the proxy server. Well I tried this and didn't see any difference. Rather than screw anything else up I decided to reset the DW7000 thus restoring the original settings. For some reason it all of sudden could finally access the Music Store, update podcasts, etc.; i.e. it started working.
From what I've read, each time you reset the receiver it goes out an decides on the proxy server to use (not necessarily the same one each time). I'm guessing the proxy server it picked up after the reset was more iTunes friendly. Of course it's possible that it has nothing to do with the proxy server and the reset fixed whatever was wrong. Bottom line, reset your receiver and see if the access problem goes away. If not, try again. It only takes a few seconds so really you have nothing to loose. Kind of obvious when you think about it. What's the first thing you do when your computer is having a problem? Yep, reset.
