I can't add a credit card to my account

I'm trying to add a credit card to my account and it keeps saying that the service is temporarily unavailable and that I should try later. Well, I've trying for weeks and it never works. Can anybody help me, please?

Go to Store > View My Account > Edit Purchase Info. Then just click "No credit card" and hit Okay, and it will remove all of the info. Good luck.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

You can still remove a credit card from an account on an iPhone
just open the App Store
select featured
scroll to the bottom and select "Account: accountnamehere"
now you can proceed to edit your information

You can change the credit card registered with your iTunes account. You can't have two at once - how would they know which to charge? - and anyway there's nowhere to enter a second one.

Hi there. I spent nearly 2 hours fiddling with the website and clicking every single possible thing I could click on. Eventually what I did was I had to buy Skype credits, then I had to go in and request a refund which opened up a live chat. They refunded my $10 bucks for Skype credit and confirmed that the credit card I used was "a great way to update your credit card information" and then applied the new card to my subscription and Skype number.
Needless to say, while the support agent was very nice, I was seriously boiling red hot with infurating burn it to the ground rage when I contacted them. My cable company wanted to much for phone service so I decided to stick it out, but holy crap it took for-ev-er. I recommended with every fiber of my being that the support agent put forth a ticket to a) create an up to date tutorial for changing your credit card information without having to purchase something and then be refunded; and b) to put a UI change request in to make it easier.
I signed off our chat by saying that if this was Amazon that Bezos would have a fit over this issue.
