  • Can't add an existing signature to a new mail account.

    My iCloud account has Signature #1.  When I add a new IMAP account, I can not select Signature #1 for it. The Choose Signature selection menu on the Signatures screen has a greyed-out "none" in it.  If I select All Signatures and create Signature #2, that signature is not visible to the iCloud account and the IMAP account can't see either of them.

    did it yesterday :-)
    what I did was...
            Node tmpNode = document_destination.importNode(document_source.getFirstChild(),true);
         document_destination.appendChild(Node);use importNode to copy the Node from the origin document to the destination document ( the true flag means "import the Node and all subnodes"). Once you have the Node in the destination document, you must append it somewhere in the hierarchy (in the example, it will be a child of the root Node)
    hope it helps!

  • How can I add random mail signatures from a text file?

    I'm trying to add a different quote to every email that I write... is there a program or way for Mail to pluck and append a quote at random from a external file of quotes?  (I'm not talking about the standard "Random" feature built into Mail.)
    There must be one out there, but I can't find it.  I'm using Snow Leopard and Mail 4.5

    Hello,
    Here is a running start on getting specific lines in the case lines starting with ComboBox. I took your data and placed it into a text file named TextFile1.txt in the bin\debug folder. Code below was done in
    a console app.
    using System;
    using System.IO;
    using System.Linq;
    namespace ConsoleApplication1
    internal class Program
    private static void Main(string[] args)
    var result =
    from T in File.ReadAllLines(Path.Combine(AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory, "TextFile1.txt"))
    .Select((line, index) => new { Line = line, Index = index })
    .Where((s) => s.Line.StartsWith("ComboBox"))
    select T
    ).ToList();
    if (result.Count > 0)
    foreach (var item in result)
    Console.WriteLine("Line: {0} Data: {1}", item.Index, item.Line);
    Console.ReadLine();

  • How can i add a new signature with PKCS1?

    The default sign method of Acrobat is PKCS7,how to change to PKCS1?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    There are two different tacks you could take here. One way is to set a Seed Value that works on a per signature field basis and the other is to make a change to the registry that works on a general basis. Of course, a change to the registry it's on a per computer basis where as Seed Value, because it's on a per document basis will travel from computer to computer.
    If you want to set the Seed Value it's done via JavaScript. Go to http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9/Acrobat9_HTMLHelp/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.ht m?href=JS_API_AcroJS.88.1.html#1515776&accessible=true and click the Search button and look for "Seed Value". When it returns, click on "signatrueSetSeedValue" and then scroll down to Example 2 to see how to set the subFilter. You're going to want to use the value adbe.x509.rsa_sha1 as opposed to what is shown in the example.
    If you would rather make the change global to the computer then you need to modify the registry (Windows) or plist (Mac). I'll give you an example for Windows, but if you need help with the Mac let me know. Run regedit and then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\Security\cPubSec with the following caveats. First, if you are using Reader, as opposed to Acrobat, change \Adobe Acrobat\ to \Acrobat Reader\. The other thing is, if you are using an earlier version of Acrobat change "9.0" to the major version number you are currently running. Even if you were using version 8.1 you would still look for 8.0.
    Now that you've navigated to the correct location add the Binary Value "aSignFormat" (without the quotes). Next, edit the value and click into the right side of the dialog and add the same plain text string noted above for use with Seed Value. Please see the attached screen shot (click on the link below to open the picture and then click on the black X to close it). An important thing to note here is the string needs to be NULL terminated. After you've type the plain text string into the right side of the dialog, click into the end on the hex string at the left side and type a zero. You'll note that it adds what appears to be a dot at the end of the plain text string on the right, but it's not really a dot.
    I hope this helps,
    Steve

  • How do I, can I, add a real signature to my emails to insure my contacts it is from ME?

    Emails are showing up on my friends email from me - (NOT) - and they are not good ones. lot of 4 letter words downing my contacts. I want the emails I send to be known via a signature that I sent it, not an unknown @$$hole... Thanks Brian

    Are you using email through firefox? - if so, this has nothing to do with firefox itself, you are using webmail. You should contact your email provider instead.

  • How can you add a personal signature in Pages (such as in a contract)

    I have created a "contract" using Pages and would like to include a personal signature at the bottom of the page.  Is there any way to achieve this in lieu of "printing-signing-copying-emailing"?

    Make a copy of your signature and save it as a jpeg, png or pdf. Paste or insert the image file into your document. Email the docuemnt as a PDF.

  • Can't add signature or change signatures in Mail

    I hadn't changed signatures in a very long time so I don't know when this started but...
    I tried to add a signature and it will not show up in the pop-up menu in the New Message "signature" menu.
    Also I can not edit previously created signatures.
    I realize that trashing my mail preference file may correct this but it will, I assume, delete all of my signatures and probably reset many other things.
    Any ideas on how I can fix this with the minimum amount of rebuilding of preferences?
    Thanks.
    RonL

    How did you fix it? I expierience the same problem on my old Panther (10.3.9). Whenever I open my 'mail preferences'window, the only tab I can see and change is 'Accounts'. The tabs 'General, RSS, Fonts&Colors, Viewing, Composing, Signatures and Rules' all disappeared.

  • Can't add a rule, apply a signature, etc.

    Hi--Something weird has happened to my Mail. I can no longer do Mail Preferences and add a rule. The rules tab shows up and it all looks good but when I click on "Add Rule" nothing happens. Similarly I can't Edit a rule or duplicate a rule.
    On a related front, when I click on the Signatures icon, it isn't displayed. So I can't do anything with Signatures.
    Also, when I go to the Junk Mail tab the Advanced button is available but when I click on it nothing happens.
    I recently installed an IMAP mail account but that's the only recent change.
    Any ideas at all?
    Thanks!

    Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
    The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
    After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, proceed as follows:
    1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
    2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that Console displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
    3. Try to reproduce the problem and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that might be written there as a result. They may provide some clues.
    You may try re-creating the preferences file as follows:
    1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
    2. Make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder, just in case something goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. You can do this in the Finder by dragging the folder to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down, for example. This is where all your mail is stored.
    3. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences/. Locate com.apple.mail.plist and move it to the Desktop (to be deleted if this fixes the problem).
    4. If you have a .Mac account and .Mac synchronization of Mail data was enabled either in Mail > Preferences > General or in System Preferences > .Mac, that will interfere with any attempt to get rid of potentially corrupt *.plist files. If that‘s the case, after having followed the previous steps, but before opening Mail again, you should go to System Preferences > .Mac > Advanced, click Reset Sync Data, and choose the appropriate options to reset the Mail data stored on the .Mac server with the data locally stored on the computer, i.e. sync data must flow from the computer to the .Mac server so that the potentially corrupt data is deleted from the server as well.
    5. Open Mail. You’ll have to set up your non-.Mac accounts from scratch all over again. If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done.
    You’ll also have to re-configure most of your settings in Mail > Preferences. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
    You may also need to re-install or re-enable any Mail plug-ins you have installed for Mail to recognize them.
    6. As a side effect of re-creating com.apple.mail.plist, Mail might rename Outbox (which is where messages waiting to be sent are stored) to Delivered. The name of that mailbox is actually a misnomer, as it would contain messages (if any) that couldn’t be delivered for some reason. You can delete that mailbox if you wish.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. You can easily locate any of the folders referred to in this post by copying the folder path here, doing Go > Go to Folder in the Finder, and pasting the folder path there.

  • Outlook 2010 - can you add multiple signatures to a single email?

    Basically using 2 or 3 signatures to create a quick email?  By adding a 2nd or 3rd signature to a new email.  I can't get this to work like it did in 2007.
    Thank you for any help.

    Hi,
    Thank you for using Outlook IT Pro Discussions forum.
    We can certainly add multiple signatures to a new email.
    In Outlook 2010, click
    File > Options > Mail > Signature. We can add multiple signatures there, and set a default signature.
    After that, when we compose an email, click the
    Insert tab, click Signature in the
    Include group, we can choose other signatures.
    If you encounter any problems when trying to add the signatures, please let me know.
    Best Regards,
    Sally Tang
