I can't add my Widows 7 Professional to my SBS 2003 R2 Domain

I am working on a Windows 2003 R2 Small Business Systems network, with 6 Windows Vista computers already attached to its domain. I am trying to add a Windows 7 Professional laptop to this domain, but have not been able to make that addition, even though
I have tried several of the fixes I have found on different forums. I have run the KB926505 patch on the server, tried adding the computer through the sever addition process then tried to add it from the computer. All efforts have failed. When using the server
set up, I am told that a script will run to complete the process, but that never happens. When I try to add the computer to the domain from the computer, I get an error that says it can't find the domain controller, even though I can ping the IP of the server.
The text from the "dcdiag.txt" file is -> DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain "pinnaclesalesinc.local":
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.pinnaclesalesinc.local
The following domain controllers were identified by the query:
(no Active Directory Domain Controllers found)
However no domain controllers could be contacted.
Common causes of this error include:
- Host (A) or (AAAA) records that map the names of the domain controllers to their IP addresses are missing or contain incorrect addresses.
- Domain controllers registered in DNS are not connected to the network or are not running.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the laptop go to the command line and run ipconfig /all to make sure the laptop is getting its IP info from the SBS2003's DHCP and verify DNS is pointing to the SBS2003 server. The DNS server on the laptop needs to point to the SBS server and
not some other DNS in order to retrieve that record. If it is OK then maybe check that the record exists in the SBS2003 DNS or run the SBS2003 BPA (http://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=5334) as I believe it will check for that.

and then deploy the file SAPLOGON.ini from your client to all other client
via the logon script...
Or, and that is what we ( SAP ) recommend, you can use the SAP FRONTEND ÌNSTALLATION SERVER.

Can't Add User to Professional Edition Account

I have created a new single-edition iPad app and ready to build the App with DPS APP Builder and submit to Apple.
When I go to DPS Account Management, to add the user (Adobe ID created specifically for this project), I get this alert that the user can't be added.
My guess is that I should have added this Adobe ID before I started building the folio.
When I try to build the app from InDesign Folio Builder...Create App, it appears that I need to activate the app with a purchased serial number.
How do I get this Folio to work with my professional account?

You've run into a quirky problem with account administration. When you verify an Adobe ID to work with DPS, you effectively make it a master account, and you cannot convert a master account to a delegate account. That's why the error message is telling you to create a new account. Of course, that means you'll need to transfer the folios from the original Adobe ID to the new account you choose. After you create the new delegate account, there are two ways to do this:
* Create a new folio in the new account, and import the articles. This works well if your folder structure is set up properly and you're using a sidecar.xml file.
* Create a new folio in the new account. and share the folio from the old account to the new one. Then use the Copy To command to copy the articles to the new folio.
Also, with a Professional account, it's better to avoid using the Create App method to publish a folio. Log in directly to DPS App Builder using an Adobe ID with a DPS App Builder role. Create App is primarily for Single Edition users.

Yes, You must establish a two-way trust between the central forest and user forests to enable distribution group expansion when groups from user forests are synchronized as contacts to the central forest.

Windows SBS 2011 - I can't add a new user through the SBS Console

I have recently installed SBS 2011 and this is my first install of SBS since 2003.
After the installation I went to the SBS Console to add a new user and when I select 'Add a new user account' and base it on the Standard User account i get a message saying 'Add a New User Account failed', when i view the details for this it says "The User
Account cannot be added. Ensure that the Active Directory Domain Services service is running....
I searched the web for this and found the following which was not applicable http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958890
I then resorted to adding the users via AD Users and Computers and the modifying the value in the ADSI for msSBSCreationState to 'Created' and then it appeared in the console, i then used the console to change the user role for this account to Standard User.
But when i now click on the "Edit User Account Properties" action i get a pop up message from SBS Server saying "There is no such object on the server".
Any ideas on ow to fix this broken console would be appreciated.

Based on your description, it’s hard to narrow down the root cause. Would you please let me know the complete
error message that you can get when fail to install this Hotfix?
In addition, please check if .NET Framework 2.0 installed before you apply this Hotfix.
Meanwhile, please check if you have installed
KB2028492. If not, please install KB2028492, then download the Hotfix
here manually and check if you can install it successfully.
If this issue still persists, please refer to the following article to reset Windows Update components and
monitor the result.
How do I reset Windows Update components?
By the way, please check Event Viewer and log file if you can find some relevant errors. Those may help us
to go further.

Can't add new bookmarks

Just recently I am unable to add new bookmarks. All my old ones are there, I just can't add new ones. Usually when I click "bookmark this page" a small black window pops up and allows me to determine which folder i'm going to save the page in, but the widow now doesn't even show up. The only page I CAN bookmark and this window shows up is on yahoo's homepage which made me notice something. There is a star in the address bar that gets filled in blue only when i'm on yahoo. Every other page, it becomes colorless. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this or not though

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Can't add a family member to family share on icloud?

I Successfully added one child to family share but when I went to add second child it gets hung up on the screen where you type family members email. I type it in or select child's name from my list of contacts and then select NEXT. Nothing Happens. the blue letters of next fade to the light blue then the circle thing spins and the NEXT pops back up in blue and nothing happens. Can someone please help me figure out why I can't add a second child. Yes, they have an icloud account, I turned phone off and back on. Not sure what the problem is.

See if you can go to your Calendars App and select a previous event to see what Calendar the event was added to (iCloud or Yahoo). After that is determined you can go to www.iCloud.com or calendar.yahoo.com and add the event there to see if it will populate on your device. Another troubleshooting step is deleting the iCloud account from your device and also deleting the Yahoo account. Then check to see if you can add an event without it syncing to a email. If you can then it may have just been a bug and you can add both accounts back and try adding the event again. I would also recommend only using one service to sync your Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, etc. Such as either iCloud only or Yahoo only, as using multiple accounts means your data is spread around and can be hard to isolate when something goes wrong.

I would like to add birthdays to my calendar for my friends children and my neices and nephews. However, I don't want to create a new contact for all of them. Can I add an entry into the birthdays calendar only? When I add an entry in iCal on my MacBook I can edit it to a specific calendar, but I have no option to add to the birthday calendar. If I really have to create a contact for these entries, can I select which contacts show up in my iPhone? Obviously I don't want a huge contacts list for babies and small children in my phone!
I tried Dates to iCal and it was good for anniversaries, but for other birthdays it wasnt as they appear as the parents name and then the entry (e.g. Jane: 2nd Sophies Birthday) which I find very annoying!

Also open the calendar app, tap on calendars bottom middle of the screen and make sure under other you have birthdays ticked in the calendars

How can i add to a listBox items near in a new column other items ?

The items on the right i changed the property of the listBox1 righttoleft to Yes.
