I can't believe no one has ever had this problem

This has been mentioned on a couple of other forums so
someone surely must have come across this
I'll try again
I am on a PC using XP. I downloaded a trial version of Flash
8. It worked the first couple of times but now refuses to load at
all. Occasionally it gets as far as the little start page, says
copying files then initializing fonts then it disappears and that's
it. I read somewhere that you need to disable the start page
because it is searching the internet for something???? But how on
earth can you disable your start page if you can't get in to the
program in the first place
I have tried this on two different PCs and it still won't
launch. Why do Macromedia always manage to mess things up in the
end?

sounds like a corrupt font to me.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Having the same issue after downloading the lastest version of itunes. Apple is going to lose me as a customer, if this keeps up with their software updates. They never seem to work.
Really, they should want me to be able to access their store. That's money out of their pocket.

Restore your media from the backup of the computer created prior to restoring the computer.
You did create a backup, correct? Not doing so would be extremely unintelligent.
iOS devices are NOT backup devices.

    Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

Thanks roaminggnome....my teenage son uses this phone and hasn't backed it up...so I don't want to restore it to factory settings just yet. Tried your other suggestions with no joy so if it comes on normally after discharging the battery tonight I'll restore it after backing up all his contacts ,music etc.
I was curious as to what the fault actually is as no-one seems to have had this one where I've looked on the internet.
The phone was dropped and subsequently repaired through insurance in Sept 2011 and they issued me with another imea number so the complete internals of the phone must have been replaced by them so I hope that the fault is covered by their normal warranty on work carried out. Thanks for your reply.

When I click on the magazine, my screen is just blank. I can see the purchase, and in my settings/store, the magazine shows "ON".

I would do a power cycle/reset of your device first, if you haven't, to rule that out.

I went into the cloud on phone it was on. Turned off and back on. Now i have 6 of one contactDeleted face books also incase that was the issue. - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Has anyone had this problem with IPad 3 after upgrade to IOS 7,
trying to to connect VPN , but I get this messag, "could not validate the server certificate".
I am trying to connect to Oracle VPN.

Has anyone found a solution for this yet? I am still getting the could not validate server certificate error. I have tried importing the entire certificate chain as well as importing each individual cert in the chain. My certificate works perfectly with the cisco vpn on my pc.
This is my first experience owning an apple product, and I am very disappointed with the customer support that I have received. I tried calling the help line and no one would even attempt to answer my question. I was then told that the Mac "geniuses" wouldn't know either and that I may be able to find an answer on the message boards. It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:
