I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! Sound, but a flat line in Arrange???
OK! This makes absolutely no sense and I am not happy at all right now.. I deleted a kick drum part in a song by accident... well, not really on accident, because the arrange menu shows that there was no waveforms in this particular area... so I deleted it naturally to get rid of any possible noise. No problem, until i later listened to the part, and realized a drum hit was missing. So, i brought back the original file, only to find an error in LOGIC. There is no wave movement here, but an obvious LOUD kick!!!! What's going on here? Any settings or explanations here? This can't happen in a profesion al setting, unacceptable. I Solo'd the track and listen, but don't see any visual marks where there should be..............

There's a very strong possibility that there is an audio track playing, but it is hidden. Check your hide settings.
Also, scope out the other tracks in detail, and make sure there isn't a kick sound accidentally on one of them. Go to the part of the song where this is occurring, and solo each and every track at that point, and see if you can locate it. Zoom in close to the waveforms also. You may see where it's coming from as well that way.
Check all routings of all your audio objects, in case there's something amiss there.
This is most certainly pilot error. Take a deep breath, and look over everything logically.

After this 1.0.7 OS upgrade yesterday my PB still will not open TXT or HTM file attachments, Bridge files will not recognize MUSIC or VIDEO files on the PB or my PHONE. I have previously filed a support claim about this to get it corrected and each time RIM ends up sending me a link to a page saying these files are not supported. I was doing laundry (in my house) and set my ipod mini down on the counter then went away to do something else. when i came back for my ipod it was underneath a (dry) bathrobe. and the screen is all messed up there's a dark circle on the top righthand section of the display and it's unreadable in that section. it almost takes up a quarter of the screen. also there looks like there might be a small crack (about the thickness of a hair) on the lcd. not on the outside plastic but the actual screen. I don't know what to do. what could have caused this.
I know that wasn't the safest place to leave my ipod and thats my fault but still I don't see what could have caused this!!! my waranty is up and even if I could afford to go out and buy a new ipod i could'nt even get this model anymore i would have to get a nano or full sized ipod. This mini has practically become part of me over the last year or so. i was never without it and now it's broken! I know i'm pretty much out of luck and this really isn't a problem that can be solved in this forum, but i just needed to vent somewhere. maybe if I have any money left over after I buy books this semester I can get another ipod, but that is very unlikely.

Can't believe this please help
After two days and long nights, I finally completed a really good track I really love. For the drums I used logics internal instruments, Ultrabeat and EXS24.
For the horns and strings I used the external instruments from my Roland Keyboard. After mixing the track down I decided to burn it to a cd. To my surprise the only instruments I recorded or was able to hear on the cd was Logics internal instruments. What the ****, I could not believe it. What am I doing wrong. Please Help anyone, thanks.
EThere is also a couple of ways to bounce your midi tracks without recording them on to an audio track. When I work with outboard midi gear and audio together, I send the synth into logic for monitoring to and input track. you can bounce that in real time, not off-line, along with your audio and instruments tracks.
in your environment create an audio object, double click it to view it as a channel strip. in the parameters box, under channel, you will select input channel instead of an output channel. select the stereo input you want to send your synth to. Assign the outputs to your main outs. From this channel you can monitor your outboard synth in Logic. And when you bounce in real time this input is sent to your outputs along with your VI’s and audio tracks
you can also do the same thing with an audio instrument channel. in the box (I/O) where you select your instrument choose External. and when the box pops up, select the inputs you want to use just like the input object. now you can monitor your outboard synths here also. you can also add track automation and plug in fx to this track as well. -

The lock button is broken so i cant do the home button and lock button trick... Itunes asks for 'trust' when i connect to itunes but i cant allow trust if the screen does work... Ive been told to restore the phone but itunes wont let me. The phone isnt recognized by the computer either... I have no way to get to the apple store for help. Any ideas for this being an easy-fix problem???
ive tried charging mine too. the only recommendation i can give is to allow the phone to completely die, and not being able to access any apps or anything to kill the battery makes it a long, boring process that could take up to 2-3 days (depending on the battery life of YOUR phone). im in the same situation, but my phone did flicker to life for 20 minutes or so, but then went back to the screen being a jerk. the only reason im continuing to put my phone on the charger is to assure that it syncs with my icloud so i can just get this piece replaced simply and easily.

Seriously. I have never purchased anything that worked so well, and did exactly what it was advertised to do immediately. I did have the activation problems that others did the first night, but since then, wow. It's amazing to think that many other features are coming down the road. Apple really deserves a thumbs up for this one. I have been an apple follower for a while, and the rev a thing is usually pretty crappy....but they knocked it out of the park with this one.. Couldn't be happier. (yes, no point to this thread, but why not post something positive for a change!)

I have a big problem when I convert my PDF to a word document, it is a mess. Is there a way to prevent this from happening. Font changes, table and lines formatting of lots of things. I am having to spend time editing and finding all the mistake, deleted the purpose of converting if I have to retype everything.

I would like to have the option to display de DATE/HOUR of each SMS message in the same screen that the message is shown. Actually, I have to click "Options-Details" to see this information, and honestly I can not understand why Nokia did not configure an option like this in this mobile.It is configured in all other mobiles of all other brands, even the Nokia X5800 has this option! But the N85 does not have it
I have tried other software, but I only want to see the DATE/HOUR in the same screen, with Nokia's own "Messaging Software". I have also tried "Nokia Conversations", and even I think it could be usefull in some situations, I prefer the "old way" of showing sms

Easy yeah? NO! Unless im being a complete numpty, which is very possible, I can only create a smart album that either shows all photos of my kids regardless of the date taken OR photos taken in the last 12 months of both of the kids together (no single kid shot).

If I use Face Contains Kid1 + Face Contains Kid2 + Last 12 Months - I get all photos that only they appear together in the last 12 months. if i use Face IS I get the same result.
If I change the Match critera to Any I get photos of either kid (good) but I get all photos regardless of date (Bad).
I havnt setup any keywords so they dont help (I think).
All I need is a ability to use - Face Contains Kid1 OR Kid2
Am I right in thinking that the smart ablums use some sort of SQL query to return results? If so would there be a way to edit the underlying criteria of the albums, some sort of system file maybe?
