I can't buy a song using a gift card.

I tried to buy a song on iTunes through my iPhone. I was using a gift card, not a credit card. However, when I tried to buy the song it brought me to the billing information page. I clicked "none" for credit card, then "done." Then I was asked if I still wanted to buy the song, so I clicked "yes." However, I was then brought back to the billing information page. I repeated the process, but was brought back, again! It's a continuous loop. Does anyone know what's going on or how to help? All I want to do is buy the song.

    You can use up to eight gift cards in the Apple online store.

    According to Apple you cannot use Apple Gift Cards to purchase another Apple Gift Card.

    You can't choose which to use to pay for your order. The default order of payment is free credits first, if you have some, then store credits then credit card. I'm not sure how to explain this but this is what I know. You can contact support if you want for more info.

    Careful of those gift cards on ebay. I know a guy that bought a $100 gift card from ebay for $75 and after he entered the code in his iTunes account, he got a note from Apple saying the purchase of the gift card was reported by the credit card company as a fraudulent purchase, so he lost the credit and was out the $75 + shipping he paid the ebay seller.
    If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

    Uh, I have $20.42 in my account from gift cards.
    When I go to purchase the update, it says i have "Insignificant remaining Store Credit" or will give me a "Session Timed Out" error.

    I currently have $12.01 in my iTunes credit and I want to buy an album which would cost $12.99, but because I already bought a single from the album it only costs $11.70. When I try to buy the album it says billing info was required insufficient funds etc. Currently I have my paying info disabled on iTunes. I am not trying to gift this to anyone so I am not sure what is happening could anyone provide assistance.

    You don't have enough credit to cover the cost of the album and the applicable taxes.
