I have 100% full signal, all bars are there. I CAN NOT MAKE OR RECEIVE phone calls or text messages!! Started to happen on 6/17/2013. I have the Samsung Galaxy. My wife and I and a friend have the same phone and they are having the same problem as me. THEY can not make calls or receive calls or text messages as well........they have full signal too!!! Again, this has been happening since 6/17/2013. IT IS ONLY HAPPENING IN MY HOMETOWN AREA!!! THE TOWN WHERE I LIVE!! WHEN I LEAVE MY TOWN...half mile north or half mile south-IT WORKS FINE AGAIN... theroamer Having issues with signal is definitely not how we want you to experience wireless service. We take this very seriously because just like you I use my cell phone for everything and recently eliminated my home phone. I would love to help you with this issue, so lets get started. I show you are in an area that has great coverage. I do show multiple customers have reported issues in your area and a few weeks ago, it shows the issue was resolved. You advised that you cant get calls inside your home. Have you always had signal issues inside the home? If you step outside your door, can you make a call, send text, or access data related functions at all? Have you tried to power cycle the devices or perform a master reset. Before you rest the device, lets try a SIM card removal. Power the device off first and follow these steps http://tiny.cc/2gn6yw . This will reconnect you with the towers. Can't make or receive calls - Motorola Razr Maxx

My wife and I can not make or receive calls on our Motorola Razr Maxx phones. We can receive and send texts. We have turned off our phones and restarted to no avail. We are in the Metro Atlanta area.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you both. I just had a chat with VZW support, and there seems to be an issue in the area. I would think the SIM card solution would work if it were just one phone, however, both my phone and my wife's have the same issue.

I can't make or receive calls on my IPhone 4. There's nothing but dead air on both ends and then it freezes. If I can answer a call, it lasts for a few seconds then gets staticky and cuts out. I took it to Verizon and they couldn't get it to work either.

If Verizon, who actually had your phone in hand, was unable to get it to work, what makes you think that we users here, who have no access to your phone, could help? You need to bring your phone to the experts who can actually run diagnostics on the phone, and that is Apple.

You may have a bad sim, contact your phone carrier and see if you can get a new one.

Yikes! I want you to be able to make phone calls on your cell phone! I would recommend what others have stated on here as well. Remove the sim card for a good 30 seconds while the phone is off. Then try to make the phone call again. Have you ever replaced the sim card on your device before? Galaxy S5... can't make or receive calls

Intermittently the phone portion of my S5 decides to stop working even with full bars and 4g. I was only made aware because it happened during the middle of a call. I still receive data and text but can not make or receive calls (incoming calls go straight to voicemail apparently).
I've looked over the internet and tried the following...
cycling airplane mode
cycling wireless
power cycling
removing battery
re-seating the SIM
wiping the app cache
However, none of that has resolved the issue. I'm open to suggestions outside of hopping clockwise on one foot while juggling.

My iPhone 4 started to act up. I can't make or receive calls, and same thing with texts. I also can't connect to the internet. When this happens, my iPhone turns off & it won't turn back on unless I charge it. When it's back on, there's a message about a reset that tells me I should go to apple.com/support. Later, it goes back to normal and everything works. And again, it stops working. This has been repeating for a couple of days. Help, please?

Can't make FXO calls, and receiving calls has no sound

An issue started today where I can't make or receive calls using FXO ports (POTS lines). I tested the cable going into the FXO ports and the lines work fine making calls.
When I call the number of one of the FXO lines in the UC320, the SPA303 rings properly, but when picked up, there is no sound on either side. When the SPA303 hangs up, the caller phone call ends 20 seconds later.
When trying to dial out, there is no dial tone, and the call eventually hangs up. I'm using very old firmware, but there were no changes made that should affect the UC320.
I've tried FXO Impedence Testing, but nothing happens, it just says "Test Running" and the phone number doesn't get a call.
My network does not have the UC320 as a firewall pointing to the internet, so the time and date is way off, but this hasn't caused any issues.

From your description, it sounds as if your device itself has somehow failed. My opinion is that your formal support channel is what you need to use -- via your carrier.

I can't make or receive calls or text after I dialed *228, option 1 as instructed by tech support. The message said "Programming successful". I am a pre-paid only customer ($50/ month unlimited) LG basic flip phone. When I try to call anyone now, I get a Verizon recorded message: "We're unable to complete your call. To speak to a customer service representative hang-up and dial *611" And *228, option 2 not helping either.

I'm sorry you're having issues in making and receiving calls with your prepaid device. I would need to direct you to our Prepaid department for assistance.
In order to reach a Prepaid Department representative, please call 888-294-6804. When prompted, enter your prepaid phone number. Then press 4, 5, 4 and enter the pass code for your account. If you do not know the pass code, enter in four zeros. Then the system will then transfer you to a Prepaid representative.

Newest OS. Never happened with old OS! Cycling phone on/off does not help. Ignoring message causes phone to cycle off then on. After first time this happened, I restored.
