I have 10.6.8 and have installed two new printers HP 8610 and an Epson 7880 and can not find the Page Set-up menu anywhere in the applications I a trying to print from. This is regardless of either printer selected.
I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5. The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

Hey,
if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders. You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

You've used the wrong name for the folder that holds the html page.

Is what it is trying to find (and it doesn't exist).
www.artworksforyouth.org redirects to www.artworksforyouth.com which then redirects to your iWeb page.
Rather than the word "Site" in your URL you need to use ArtWorks%20for%20Youth

I am trying to finish an online class and Google keeps popping up on my screen telling me it can't find the page I'm searching. Get Google OFF MY COMPUTER!!

I am using Firefox while watching online class. I attempt to go to another page and a Google page pops up telling me that it can't find the other page.
First of all, we are talking about something common like facebook.com or youtube.com.
Second, I'm not using Google for anything; my search engine is Bing.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I can't find the Pages application

i have already bought Pages as an app on my ipad and have now bought a macbook air. I went onto the apple store and downloaded the Pages app for mac's but now can't find the app even when i search for it, just the individual documents from my pages app on my ipad. Where is the Pages app on my macbook?

If you downloaded Pages for the Mac, it should be in the Applications folder. Open Finder and press Shift+Command+A. Look for it in there. And also look in the Launchpad. Or search for it in Spotlight (it also will tell you where it is).
If you still can't find it you can download it again. Note: Pages for iPad and Pages for Mac are two difference apps. Purchasing one does not mean you don't have to buy the other one designed for the other platform.

Can't find the 'page navigator' in Pages

I can't find page navigation features in Pages
I'm using Pages 5.2.2 on OS X 10.9.5.
(usually I work with word processing documents)
I think I must've said 'OK' & accepted an upgrade at some point, because the application suddenly looked different one day---e.g. the Inspector is no longer a floating window, but a column on the side... So I gather there's something called the Page Navigator, but I can't find it anywhere---not even a mention in Help.
I no longer see the page number in the lower left of the window, and without that, I can't jump to a page.
Please help.

I do know about the thumbnails, and yes, you can quickly drag up or down there, to find to the page you want. But that's still no match for clicking in the old page-number box on the lower left corner and simply inputting the exact page you want. (Even that wasn't quite as good as "Go to page __" command).
Have they really deleted that?
And where's everything else? The Inspector (is it no longer available as a floating window?!) seems sparse---I can't say precisely what's missing----but I have that weird feeling like when someone moves around the things on your desk, stuff is missing, or isn't where it used to be....

I am trying to use Acrobat Pro version XI to crop my PDF but can't find the "PAGES" tools

I have a 1 page PDF that is 9.5 inches wide with about 1.5 inches of margin. I want to crop off the extra white space and center the image so that it fits on a normal letter sized page. However, I can't find any sort of crop or trim command in Acrobat. When I google cropping a PDF I find references to a crop command that is in some sort of "pages" collection of tools but I don't have any pages menu either. Is there a way to use Acrobat Pro for cropping ? How?
I also have photoshop and have tried importing and cropping there but when I export the image back to PDF format I find that its 10X the size it started. Its important for my purposes that the file be small.

Well it was installed yesterday and I spent hours trying to find the option as virtually the first thing I did when I launched it, so I'm quite sure I would have remembered if I changed it. However it was installed by a push from our corporate software distribution system so maybe that has a way of reconfiguring some options. Why they'd bother is a mystery to me though. Firefox sometime can find specific server then at other times it can not. Also when on a web site and you attempt to go to anotherpage on the site, it lock up or can not find the page.

Firefox cannot find a server that it has gone to easily in the past. Also it will lock up or can not find a page with in a web site ie like with FoxNews and you want to read and article. Firefox cannot find it. Sometimes I can not even log on to FireFox.

Stupid question, I know, but after years of using Firefox, on this one I can't find the Page Reload icon?? Please help.

In the past, when I want to refresh a page, I've simply gone to the page reload icon on the toolbar. On the new version, I can't fin the reload icon. Sorry I know this is a very stupid question,, but I just can't find that reload icon. The toolbar is a lot different from previous versions, but I'm sure tht pesky icon must be there somewhere!!

Not a stupid question at all :) You should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-upgrading-firefox-36 this article with common questions after upgrading].
You could also benefit from the looking at the article on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars customizing the tool bar]. That will show you not only how to verify that you have the refresh button, but give you options on where it lives as well.

Javahelp search: get results but can't find the pages

when using the javahelp full text search, i get the correct results displayed on the left, but on the right the corresponding pages are not shown. the page which was displayed before stays in the window and the places where the searched words should be are highlighted.
So i think the javahelpsearch database is found (in "${helpdocs}/JavaHelpSearch") but the directory with the html files not. I'm using this to make the database:

Safari can't find the page...

I've noticed recently that Safari regularly fails to open pages, especially from links in discussions or blogs, or from Google results. But before anybody tells me it's my ISP or network traffic or whatever, I can say that EVERY time this happens, if I then open Chrome or Firefox (or... shudder... IE in VMWare windoes7) and go to the same page it opens without any issues. The problem seems to lie in Safari, and only in the last few months. Is there a setting or a new feature that I can disable to return to a browser that works? Or do I have to get used to living with Firefox?
ps I have two Macs - 27 inch iMac (2010) and a 15 inch Macbook Pro (2010) and the problem is the same on both.

Please enable guest logins and log in as Guest. Launch Safari and test. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and disable it if you wish.

basic: Excepci�n: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.syc.client.ScanAppletmore....The strange thing is that if I copy &paste the url in a browser window, it finds the jar and ask to open or save. So I suppouse is something on the sandbox of the applet or something like that. Why I can find the jar using the URL, but why the applet can't? Other thing that I don't know if is important for this is that I can't find the page using my IP or 127.0.0.1, it only works using localhost.
And yes, my jar is signed. In fact it works perfect on a non Windows-Vista machine, so I suppouse is something with the browser here or something like that. The port is on the exceptions list of the firewall but I've even disabled the firewall with no changes. I can load applets from other hosts, but I can't pointing to my machine, so I don't know if is windows, tomcat, or whatever. Please help!
I'm using Tomcat 5.5, JK 1.6 and Windows Vista as server. Using the 2000 port which is on the exceptions list in the firewall. I have also IIS7, but it gives no problems. I mean if I do http://myhost (port 80) the IIS7 initial page shows, but if I use http://myhost:2000 (which is the port configured in Tomcat) then can't find the page. I don't know if is something on the firewall, on the tomcat, or what ever.

I've seen this sort of thing happen when the server is misconfigured and reports the content MIME type incorrectly.
I'd suggest using a tool like curl or the Firefox LiveHeaders extension, to confirm that that's correct.

I Can't Find The Bookmark Top Sites

Hi. I can't find the pages I saved to bookmarks. I'm using the latest Safari 5.0.5. It saved it to Top Site but when you open Show All Bookmarks which opens in 3D cover flow like page, it's not there. Where can I find it? Thank you in advance.
