I can't clear my history anymore. Just started doing this two days ago. Even setting auto history clearing didn't help. Will I have to remove/reinstall?
I can no longer clear my history. I have done this every day for years, and since two days ago The clear history box wont open when I try to clear my history. I tried setting the auto clear option, but that also did not work.
Is there anything else I can try within firefox or my computer, or will I need to remove firefox and then reinstall it?

Pictures opening in pse 9 with rough/jagged edges....HELP, just started doing this 2 days ago
I recently purchased PSE 9 a few months ago and LOVE it. However, out of nowhere; the last few days when I open my images in pse 9 there are edges of the picture that look almost jagged for lack of a better word. At 1st I thought someone got ahold of my camera and messed up my settings but I ruled that out as even when I open photos taken months ago alraedy edited in pse they do the same thing. Funny thing is these pictures look fine in MS Office Picture Manager.
Nobody has been on my computer at all so I am completely stumped as to how a perfect picture looks great on camera and in MS Office PM and now looks really bad in pse....I'm basically unable to edit (work) until I figure out how to fix this issue.
As an example as I likely have not explained myself very well, I took some pics of my baby yesterday in just his diaper and in pse most of the edges of his skin look all rough/jagged instead of a smooth line. I then took pics of myself in another room, different lighting and some outdoor wildlife shots and it does not matter where pic is taken, subject or lighting they are all opening with these rough edges.
Please help as I can not do anything until this is fixed and I may have 2 portrait sessions this weekend!

No one else (in the discussions I found) knew why that would become an issue either....
There's no way to set PSE to automatically display at a specific view percentage.
To check (and modify, if necessary) your Windows display settings, go to Start...Help and search for "text on screen", then choose the "Make the text on your screen larger or smaller" item from the results. It'll give you step-by-step instructions.
There's no guarantee that this next suggestion will help, but when PSE starts acting goofy, re-setting the Preferences often solves the problem:
Create a shortcut on your Desktop for the PSE9 Editor. The executable is at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
on Win7 x64 machines, "\Program Files" on 32-bit systems.
Hold down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift keys when you double-click on that icon to launch PSE.
Answer "Yes" to the prompt to restore the default Preferences.

When I copy and paste from Word to my e-mail using Firefox it changes the font and spacing to single space and 10pt.
It just started doing this a month ago.
It does not do it when I am on my laptop or using Explorer.
Help, I hate explorer.If this were a project that I was involved in, I would recapture the media at the correct frame rate and rebuild the sequences correctly.
Moving from production, to post production, to delivery is a series of steps, and the success of any particular step is based on having all the preceding steps done correctly.
Shortcuts and workarounds tend to create awkward and difficult problems, that often only surface late in the process.

My ipad2 isn't allowing me to download any apps. When I try to download a app it prompts me too update my billing info. I did that and it said invalid security code for my credit card. It just started this two days ago, before I had no problems. Please help my apple friends

When I send my imessage sometimes it tells me that my message is sent as a text message as oppsed to an imessage and then doesnt tell me if its delievered. It just started doing this last night.How can I fix this?
This feature only works with people who have iMessage on their iPhone. If you are sending a text to someone with a blackberry etc, you will not get the delivery messages.

Why can I access the Internet, even get my email by going through yahoo, but as of this morning I can not access my email from the mail icon on my tablet screen. It just started doing this today. When I try to get my email by going through the icon, I am asked to enter yahoo password. I do this, then the box just pops up again, and again and again never letting me get signed in. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Need help!

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I am using a Canon 640 printer and my MPNavigator will not remain open. It pops open then quickly closes. I've used it for several years but it just started doing this. What can I do to fix this problem?
I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon). -
My macbook pro osx lion 10.7.1 only charges up to 95%. It just started doing this. Does anyone know why or how I can change it to charge fully?

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.

you can check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

Hi, I just got off the phone to Apple Support, my second call on the subject. My first call a day or two ago was answered by a rep who told me to turn off Handoff to disable Continuity. Today, the rep had the correct info: A FaceTime setting of all things!!
Both he and I are submitting a feedback to Apple Development to change how Continuity works. Rather than turn it off and on, there should be additional function and settings so an iPhone user can decide what happens when the iPhone switch to go to Silent/Vibrate mode also disables the Continuity feature from ringing another device (e.g., iPad).

When i try to add music from itunes to my ipod, Itune tells me the music on my ipod came from a differnt libray and wants to erase my whole ipod. i just loaded my ipod two days ago. i don't want to replace everything every time i want to add two to songs. My MacBook Pro is the only autherized computer.
To prevent a sync when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - hold down the 'option' and the 'command' keys when plugging in the iPod/iPhone - key the keys down until the iPod/iPhone is listed under the Devices list in iTunes - this will prevent a sync from taking place and you will be able to change your settings.
